Avenue is located over two floors in the heart of Maynooth. Opened in December 2007 by Robert & Bronagh Kennedy, Avenue now boasts a band of loyal customers, gaining a reputation for excellence and winning countless awards. Avenue has long been recognized for quality, consistency and value, along with the buzz of a busy restaurant and the warmth of our friendly staff… with a “Céad míle fáilte” that comes from the heart. Our customers continue to enjoy our great Irish food and that’s because we have a local, natural and honest approach with an easy-going warm style that is both rooted in tradition and yet still modern. Whether it’s our famous chicken wings, chowder, burgers or our renowned Steaks and fish, Avenue always delivers.

    Amazing as always! Went for lunch for a change and by far the best value based on many lunches in other places in Maynooth. I had the tuna melt it was so tasty and a huge portion. My husband had the buttermilk chicken ciabatta and it was amazing.

    Amazing food, super lovely staff and food came out incredibly fast. Thanks so much to avenue and its staff for helping make our anniversary so special!

    Great overall experience. Management were very responsive to a last minute unforeseen change. Amazing food and probably the best value for money in the area

    Always great food and service in Avenue. Robert is a great host. Moon twist was a very good recommendation for a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. Will be back again soon.

    Beautiful restaurant with great food and service. Had a table upstairs. The only negative was the noise level.
