Avenue is located over two floors in the heart of Maynooth. Opened in December 2007 by Robert & Bronagh Kennedy, Avenue now boasts a band of loyal customers, gaining a reputation for excellence and winning countless awards. Avenue has long been recognized for quality, consistency and value, along with the buzz of a busy restaurant and the warmth of our friendly staff… with a “Céad míle fáilte” that comes from the heart. Our customers continue to enjoy our great Irish food and that’s because we have a local, natural and honest approach with an easy-going warm style that is both rooted in tradition and yet still modern. Whether it’s our famous chicken wings, chowder, burgers or our renowned Steaks and fish, Avenue always delivers.

We offer the complete dining experience and now serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am. Avenue combines luxury, privacy & comfort. With our inspired chefs & our warm & welcoming staff we will turn your day or night into one you will always remember

    Love Avenue, food is always very good but €6.50 for a portion of skinny fries is way too expensive.

    Always a buzzing spot, especially in the bar area. We started with a cocktail before ordering a selection of starters and a bottle of wine, date night sorted

    My wife and I with our younger son had a most enjoyable meal of starters, main courses, desserts, coffee and drinks. The food, drinks and service were excellent.

    Brilliant from start to finish. Prawns and wings to start amazing. Fish and the Sunday roast both perfect. Desert was yum! Looking forward to our next visit

    Have frequented here several times and on this occasion disappointed. On arrival the waitress reluctant on showing us to our seat as she felt she was missing her coffee. One of the children didn't get their cheese sauce with their wings and in fairness the waitress promptly brought one however when it came to the bill they charged for it even though it was missing. Overall portion sizes are getting smaller but the bill isn't. Not value for money.

    We visited avenue as a two group family with small kids. Everything was amazing! The service and the attentiveness especially with the children was great. We were able to enjoy a really superb meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back !

    Food a wine very tasty. We opted for a second of starter/small bites. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable night.
