Avenue is located over two floors in the heart of Maynooth. Opened in December 2007 by Robert & Bronagh Kennedy, Avenue now boasts a band of loyal customers, gaining a reputation for excellence and winning countless awards. Avenue has long been recognized for quality, consistency and value, along with the buzz of a busy restaurant and the warmth of our friendly staff… with a “Céad míle fáilte” that comes from the heart. Our customers continue to enjoy our great Irish food and that’s because we have a local, natural and honest approach with an easy-going warm style that is both rooted in tradition and yet still modern. Whether it’s our famous chicken wings, chowder, burgers or our renowned Steaks and fish, Avenue always delivers.

    Had a lovely dinner at The Avenue with my friends. The service was really great – super friendly and attentive. The food took a bit longer than expected because they were down a chef, but they were very honest and apologised nicely. They even gave us the wine on the house, which was a lovely gesture. Things like that can happen, but the way they handled it made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious – everyone at the table said the same. We left very happy. Definitely planning to go back!

    My wife and I together with 2 relatives from Perth in Western Australia had a most enjoyable meal - main courses, desserts, coffees and drinks. Both the food and the service were excellent.

    Lovely food with excellent service. The outdoor area is at a busy road with lots of traffic which I wouldn’t chose again.

    Amazing as always! Went for lunch for a change and by far the best value based on many lunches in other places in Maynooth. I had the tuna melt it was so tasty and a huge portion. My husband had the buttermilk chicken ciabatta and it was amazing.
