                                                                                                It was another great experience for an early dinner . The food was good . We had as a party the grilled octopus, the scallops, duck and blue crab pasta . All delicious . The servers were very accommodating specially Joe who sat us outside but it was too windy so we moved inside by the doors and Arturo , the new server took over . The cocktails were good too ! A little pricey but thankfully everything was good quality

                                                                                                The food was excellent. The drinks were good, and the service was very good. Our server, Malcolm, was friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks came out in a timely manner.

                                                                                                Avenue is my family’s all time favorite restaurant in Long Branch for many years. The food is reliably good They were a little overwhelmed that evening because it was the Fourth of July Our reservation was at 8 PM and we were seated promptly but the flow of courses was a little slow because the place was packed and they seemed to be understaffed We were okay with it because we were anticipating the fireworks and didn’t mind the delay We wanted to have our table well into the start of the fireworks anyway. Our server was good but a little nervous. I don’t know if he’s a new server. We will still keep going back for sure

                                                                                                I really wanted to give a shout-out to the hostess l. Her customer service skills were far superior to any I have encountered in a long time. She was super friendly and accommodating on a very busy July 4th evening. The restaurant had great atmosphere and the food was outstanding. The only reason I did not give 5 stars in all categories was because it was hot. I would have recommended to keep the a/c on until 9:00 pm and then open the doors for the fireworks show!

                                                                                                Avenues is on the beach in Long Branch, NJ. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area has doors that open to the outside facing the beach. The outside seating is both shaded and sunny depending on your preferences. We had the Scallops , Beef Bourguignon and Steak Frites. The Scallops were well liked by our group so was the the Beef Bourguignon. The steak Frites had mixed reviews among our group. Although the waiter had said his favorite was Beef Bourguignon #1 and Steak Frites #2 some in our group didn't agree with his #2 rating of the steak. Some liked it some didn't. The service was good and attentive but the restaurant wasn't crowded at 6:00 PM on July 4. It's a nice lively atmosphere with most of the meals being well received by our group. Based on our prior visits reservations are recommended.
