Avenida Brazil - Woodlands
The experience is split up into two parts
Part 1: Salad Bar - After being seated, guests can help themselves to our gourmet salad bar stocked with more than 30 fresh items.
Part 2: Meat - At each of our seats, we include a coaster with a red side and a green side. Once back at their table, guests can start signaling our gauchos (meat servers) by flipping over the coaster to the red side. This indicates that the guest is ready to enjoy the 13+ succulent meats, which include lamb, beef, chicken, and fish. As an accent to the meat, we provide five delicious side dishes.

Food was great, all varieties of meat available, nice cheese on salad bar, asparagus excellent, service was attentive and not interruptive.
My daughter came home so excited I had to tell her slow down so I could understand what she was saying. She had a WONDERFUL experience with her dad for their Daddy/Daughter Valentines dinner! Her favorite was the “chocolate volcano” dessert. He said that he really enjoyed himself as well!
So I have been to many many Brazilian steakhouses around the country and I’ve always had phenomenal service and great food everywhere I’ve been. However this place is no where near or as good as even a basic steakhouse. Unfortunately I decided to go there for valentines night, which I expected to have okay service but the service was terrible and the food was not good as well. Too much butter and the meat was dry and chewy. Very disappointed after paying $170 for a dinner that isn’t worth a $20.
It all started off the wrong way. We had a reservation but still had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. It seemed to be overbooked or understaff. The amount of food for the price was just not worth it. My wife literally got full from eating sides waiting for the meats to come by. Literally the only thing they were bring to our side was sausage, pork ribs, salmon and one cut of meat. I asked for the beef ribs and a hour passed and they didn’t bring them. My wife would ask for some meats a little bit more cook and they wouldn’t come back. Eventually I complained and they brought the beef ribs. Not how I wanted them cook and I was embarrassed by this big piece they gave me. This place is definitely not up to par with chama gaucha or fogo de chao. No discount was offered or anything else for the wait or food complain. Valentines dinner was a failure. This will be our first and last time coming to this place.
Food was great and service was as well. I think the restaurant overall did great for it to be Valentine’s Day. We were seated an hour after our reservation time slot but there were seats near the bar to accommodate. I’d definitely visit again, especially on a night where it's not so busy
Checked in on time for the reservation. It was Valentines so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat. No problem. The waitress was very polite. The meat was not seasoned. The salmon was good. It took 30 minutes for a cosmopolitan to be brought to the table. Nearly 15 minutes for a glass of Chambord. A single bill was brought out, and we had to ask for it to be split (4 people +$300.) The tip was added as part of each bill which did not allow for the patron to tip based on their feelings about the service.
Something odd about the room we were in was the absence of wall art.
None of us plan to return.
Requested reservation for Charles, but system called me cameron. Reservation was okay though, but not quite honored: 6:30 table wasn't available until 7:00. Food was first rate, except pork ribs dry and tough. Can't say enough good things about the food, but the rest of the dining experience was not quite as good. Server disappeared, observed working a different dining room, no notice or intro to new server (we sat near salad bar and could see who went where); we just had to flag one down, although in fairness several of them asked if everything was all right or if we needed anything. When we asked for something, it came promptly, but I felt we shouldn't have to ask; all the meat and seafood choices should have been offered without having to ask. Automatic 18% tip was unexpected. Usually I tip 20%, but I firmly believe it's my decision, and resent having a tip forced on me (for a big group, okay, but not for two on Valentine's Day). I was not about to add another 2% to get to my usual 20%. Finally, imho the $10 surcharge for Valentine's Day was unwarranted, especially in view of the overbooking that caused a 30 minute delay when we were very hungry, and having to ask for meat on what they had to know was going to be a very busy night.
We were there for Valentine’s Day and what a mistake. All the staff looked confused and rushed. We were seated in the back which was their banquet room and an ambiance killer then we had all the meats and seafood pushed on us so fast we could barley eat. You could tell they were trying to flip the tables fast to maximize their profit for the night and ignore customer satisfaction. I will never go back!
The food was ok- salad bar was good but the chicken and pork options were overcooked. The beef was cooked fine, but the quality of it was nowhere near that of Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao, both of which are priced the same or less than Avenida. The ambiance was lacking, with finer details overlooked; there was an ipad on the wall with the cables running down the wall to the outlet, the room looked like it was well-worn and the lighting consisted of retro chandeliers that didn't go with the restaurant theme or style at all. Staff were nice enough, but not friendly or extra welcoming. It wasn't bad, but certainly wasn't worth the $60pp + drinks for valentines day, and wouldn't be worth the usual $50pp dinner either.
We have always enjoyed our evening at Avenida Brazil!
Very attentive servers and delicipus cuisine! It's been awhile.since I've been at a restaurant where the servers ate so expert you don't even realiE your glass has already been filled before.yoi asked, etc. They great attention to the details and the manager is patrolling around and just as ready to serve as the wait staff. Excellent personal touch and care!!!!
Love the service and the food. We celebrated two birthdays and the kids loved all the food and that they got to get there own food.
Chef special on Fridays is always great!
Always a pleasure and the service/food was amazing as usual!
We took our out of town family there, delicious. See you next year
Meet up with friends, food was great and service was top notch.
We had dinner reservations for Christmas Day and had never been before. I gave them 3 stars overall because of all of the beef they served us (Filet, Bacon Wrapped Filet, Picanha and Beef Ribs) all were chewy and poorly cooked. They had other beef choices but we didn't even want to try anymore beef. Our favorite choices were the bacon wrapped chicken, bacon wrapped scallops and grilled shrimp. The pork was not great either. They did have a lovely salad bar and the candied bacon was the best part of the entire experience! We did enjoy the entire salad bar and the service was very good and attentive and they bread and sides (rice, augratin potatoes and carmelized bananas) they served were good as well. It was $49.50 per person and drinks and dessert were not included. Our check for two people two drinks and tip/tax was approx $158. The experience of the meat being served tableside was enjoyable and if they had much better beef, it would've made us think about doing this again but overall not worth the expense.
Xmas great afternoon
Excellent experience and food!
It was very nice at lunch time, no waiting and very peaceful.
Really good food! And a good service to. I totally recommend this place
The staff went above and beyond in terms of service. Food was delicious and we were thrilled with our choice for Thanksgiving.
Good food. The grilled pineapple and bacon are delicious.
I treated my family to a wonderful dinner at Avienda Brazil. It was their first time and they LOVED IT. I am sure they will be back again!!
The buffalo was the best cut of meat. I hope they keep it on their menu.
This was an extremely important night for my brother. We threw him a suprise birthday dinner for his 21st. Avenida did an incredible job at making our night extra special. Thank you.
The shrimp made me want to cry tears of joy. And nothing I ate wasn’t amazing. A perfect evening.
This was our third time trying to make it to this place. The third time was definitely the charm.
The ambiance is lovely. The staff is friendly, just the right amount of attentive, and communicate your preferences with one another so you don't need to repeat your meat doneness preferences over and over again.
A wide variety of fresh salad bar items start your meal off right. Chilled grilled pineapple, shrimp cocktail, heart of palm, and chilled asparagus spears were favorites. The asparagus could have been better prepped because there were "woody ends" on 2 of my 4 spears.
The meats and seafood were plentiful and offered often. The salmon was cooked to perfection. I was able to get my medium rare beef selections and my husband was brought his beloved well-done. The shrimp was seasoned a bit too heavily for my taste, I couldn't taste the actual shrimp much.
My creme brulee had a thick topping which was fabulous! The husband had more candied bacon and a few more pieces of chilled grilled pineapple. We found out that you can request the pineapple be heated, which he will do our next visit.
This will be our new special occasion place to go.
The service was amazing and the food never disappoints! We love Avenida Brazil!
We love the brunch at Avenida Brazil and last weekend it was even better as they had the special Kobe beef! Delicious!
I had a great experience. The manager was very accommodating to my family’s allergy and dietary needs.
everything about this place is great. customer service is awesome!
Entire experience was excellent. Marcelino was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Restaurant was super clean and tastefully done. Food was plentiful and delicious. We will be back. The Nelligan family.
Always a great experience! Love the salad bar and meat selection. Service is always top notch.
Excellent food and service. Ambience was a little lacking in the back room where we sat but that may not be important considering the food and service was so good. Highly recommend!
Horrible experience, felt like my family and I were invisible. I can see that too based on what we look like and location we were at. Didn't get biscuits, didn't try all the meats, no refills, and no dessert, place was a complete joke compared to Fogo and Chama Gaucha . Will never be going back.
We had a wonderful experience. Happy hour in the bar until 7pm, then on to dinner. The food was outstanding, and the service was good. Missed the lobster bisque, it was tucked away in a corner away from the salad bar, which, by the way was excellent. Have to go back now that we know where the bisque is kept. Overall, we had a great time, and will certainly be back!
Lobster bisque was excellent as was the salad bar and the table offerings of meat!
The staff was very attentive and nice. We were a large group and they made sure our group was taken care of and had everything we needed. We never had to ask for more water or any drink they were right there pouring!
Salad bar items unique, delicious and very fresh. Brûlée bacon is wonderful. Meats excellent. Owner, Melissa, is always charming!
