Fabulous restaurant… Food was exceptional and fantastic service. Would highly recommend.
Favorite place! Love sitting on the patio - inside is VERY noisy and hard to hear. Food is terrific.
Food was great, service was also great. The noise was unbearably loud. To the point that we couldn’t hear each other. It really detracted from what otherwise would have been an amazing experience. They need to install noise panels in the ceiling and put rugs or carpet on the floors. The cool exposed ceiling with pipes showing may be hip but it creates a very loud environment.
The grilled cheese was amazing!
Great food, great service, fantastic presentation - couldn't have had a better brunch. The Graham Cracker Crusted French Toast is to die for, and the Shrimp & Grits are absolutely amazing. Avelina is a must for both regulars and visitors to the Denver restaurant scene.
very good meal. I would like to try it for dinner
Terrific service and farm fresh food that was uniquely flavored and delicious.
VERY good food, good pacing. However, quite noisy even for a Tuesday night.
My dad's birthday. Our server, Andrew, was fantastic. Knowledgeable and attentive
Great place overall. Amazing food and extremely knowledgeable wait staff. Only complaint would be the noise level. A larger table of 6 was hard to hear around at times.
Dominic was a true professional, he made our evening!
I love Avelina for lunch! Its great for a business meeting and prices fairly for lunch portions. The menu has a healthy mix of vegiterrean, seafood, and meet options.
This is a great slightly out of way spot near Coors Field. Food is innovative and perfectly prepared, and wine list is also very interesting. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was not crowded, and had an awesome experience...
Made a reservation and was greeted with a lot of visible apprehension due to the age of my fiancé and I. Sat down and ordered drinks. The drinks were creative and fantastic and we had 2 each. We then ordered the menu. Whole I liked the style and the flavors there were some dishes that were trying too hard when the quality of their ingredients could easily carry the weight alone.
Good food. Good drinks and decent service.
Mostly just wish that they wouldn’t try too hard with their food. I would eat here again though.
We enjoyed the tapas happy hour in the bar area before a Rockies game. There were four of us and we found the tacos, chickpeas, crispy artichoke, and gazpacho especially delicious, however we were not too fond of the cauliflower or heirloom tomato flatbreads, which seemed kind of bland. The drinks were a great value during happy hour, and our servers were very attentive and friendly. We will be back!
The server Jen made our meal amazing.
Being able to reserve through OpenTable allowed me to request a booth which is my wife's favorite type of seating. From the appetizers to drinks to entree and dessert everything was flavorful, well executed and something we'd eat again.
The burrata with cherry compote and toast was amazing. The cheese was creamy, a big enough portion for 4 people (the two of us finished it without problem) and the cherry compote had just enough sweetness to balance the cheese and bread.
The pork tenderloin was cooked medium per the chef's recommendation. It comes with a succotash and an amazing polenta cake that was crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. It also has chorizo bits, black garlic reduction and tomato jam.
For dessert I'm normally 100% a chocolate guy. The panna cotta with vanilla oatmeal and peaches was bonkers. Bonkers amazing. This is a light and refreshing dessert and the peaches were as good as they get. The oatmeal added a nice crunch and the panna cotta was just right not too hard and not too soft.
Best experience imaginable for a dinner date and weekend in Denver. Food is amazing.
The best meal and service ever!!!
Great service, nice setting. Limited menu with not a lot of gluten-free options.
The waiter was well informed about the items in the menu and great at selling them. The food was good, but not worth the price. Like so many restaurants the dining area was very noisy and hard to have a conversation with those at your table. Sadly it was a little pretentious too. Would I recommend the restaurant? Well, if you have a couple of hundred dollars to burn for two people go ahead and try it. I do not plan to return.
We dined here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was impeccable. We had the short ribs and the barbecue chicken for our entrees which were amazing. We had the cheese board as an appetizer and one of the cheeses was very hard. Our waiter Ryan corrected it quickly and brought us out some fresher cheese. The star of the evening was definitely the service. Ryan was attentive and provided amazing service. Definitely give this place a try. The manager told us that they serve a great brunch with a bottomless mimosa, and a bottomless Bloody Mary bar. We are excited to come back for brunch. Thank you for helping to make our anniversary a special night!!
The service was impeccable and the food very tasty! We had a warm and wonderful family celebration!
Fantastic meal. The server and chef really stepped up to make vegan specials. Outstanding all the way!
It was great for a before event appetizers at the bar.
We enjoyed everything we ordered at Avelina. Lovely flavors and textures. Great service. We will return.
Yum! Everything was deeeelish, and our server was top notch. Nice lighting, cool open kitchen concept.
The pork belly is unbelievable! Other than that the plates were not well explained (was very excited by the “bread with Irish butter” board but the butter was spiced/ unsalted... not explained and not edible) or just so-so (had high hopes for the octopus!). Very nice waiter and beautiful surroundings. Maybe a good place to stop for a quick drink but not worth ordering a full meal.
Delicious brunch! Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Will definitely be back many times again.
It was a great meal all the way around. We will be back.
The best meal and service we’ve had in years!
Amazing ribeye and lamb . If we are back in Denver, we will be back! Terrific bartender and waiter.
The food was good. My servers were very nice and the setting was nice
Dining room gets loud, hard to have conversation.
Everything else was great!
Great ambiance, food and service!!
We had a great experience. We were there for a birthday. The food and appetizers were amazing. The service was also great!,
Excellent food and service. We had the carpaccio, the bread basket (a must!), shrimp scampi, and the wild mushroom agnolotti. Every dish was delicious. The pacing of the meal was unrushed in the best possible way. We will definitely come back!
My wife and I went here for our 1st wedding anniversary. I had requested a wheelchair accessible table and they had a chair already removed from our table upon arrival. The wait staff was kind and even wished us a happy anniversary. Everything we had was amazing, and one of the best meals we have ever tasted. In fact, my wife ordered the brussel sprouts, and I particularly hate brussel sprouts, but Avelina made theirs so well that I kept stealing them off my wife’s plate.
The food at Avelina is heads above other restuarants. My husband and I felt like royalty with the dishes we were served and the way in which we were cared for. The chef de cuisine, Anthony Mills, is a master of his craft. If you want an out-of-ordinary dining experience, check it out!
Was really good! Good food service was good. Grill cheese and short rib sandwich was amazing. Be back again
Excellent food., excellent service, nice ambience.
