   This was our first time here since moving back from D.C. We had a 7:30 reservation but upon checking in 10 mins early we were told they were running 25mins behind on reservations. We decided to sit at the bar for a drink, bartender took our order and gave us our drinks and that is the last time they approached us for the next 25mons until I asked to settle up only to find there is a 20% service charge added to every bill. This rubbed us the wrong way since our bartender was less than attentive. We felt their service was less than 20% and would have tipped appropriately to reflect this. Dinner waiter was very good. Food was also very good but again a 20% service charge was added to the bill. We did not like having our decisions made for us regarding tipping so we will not be returning or recommending.

   Great dining experience. Fun, happening place with people lined up to get in. Personable service and excellent food. If you want a special dining event this is the spot in Winter Park.

   The service and food was amazing! Our server, Gabriel was attentive and reviewed the menu plus gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back.

   Terrific experience! Our server (Tiana) was tremendous. Knowledgeable about everything on the menu and made great recommendations. Everything we had was exceptional. Especially the sea bass carpaccio.

   it was an amazing experience! we had the tuna and meatballs to start!.. the meatballs were to dieee for !! the. the roasted chicken the entire experience and ambiance 10/10. we need this in dallas

   The food has never been impressive. I have eaten here 8 times… sorry. Nice atmosphere for a couple drinks. Otherwise just ok. Had apps and the tagline chicken - ok.

   A Taste of the Aegean with Unforgettable Service From the moment I stepped into this Mediterranean gem in Orlando, I was transported to the sun-kissed shores of the Aegean. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with just the right mix of coastal charm and upscale comfort. But what truly elevated the experience was not just the exquisite cuisine—it was the exceptional service from our server, Eli. The menu is a celebration of fresh, vibrant Aegean flavors. We started with the grilled octopus—perfectly tender with a smoky char—the fried zucchini, which offered a generous amount of tzatziki was one of the best I have ever had. The tomato and feta salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, we had the salt crusted Branzino fired up at table side and deboned, this was a standout: Also the chicken which came in a tagine was juicy, herb-marinated, and served with apricots that were meltingly soft within. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully seasoned. Eli made the experience truly memorable. Attentive without being intrusive, he anticipated our needs with grace and offered insightful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. His genuine enthusiasm for the menu and clear passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for an exceptional dining experience, this spot is not to be missed. And if you’re lucky enough to have Eli as your server, you’re in for an unforgettable evening.

   I recently dined at AVA in Winter Park and have mixed feelings about the experience. The food was absolutely fantastic—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We experienced long waits between interactions with our server, and at times it felt like we were completely forgotten. Getting refills or even placing additional orders took much longer than expected. It really affected the overall flow of the evening. I would return for the food, but I sincerely hope they improve the speed and attentiveness of their service. A place with such great cuisine deserves a front-of-house team to match.

    It was good but not great. Food was good it just didn’t blow me away. The octopus I had was very good. Some other dishes seemed to be over salted. Service was excellent. I can see why others like it but for me at over $300 for 4 people with only two drinks at table it was overpriced. They were kind enough to tell me the 20% tip was already included.
