Very good food and really nicely redone interior since Matter of Taste days. The noise level is very high though, including the music being too loud. That was a definite distraction. But I would absolutely go back!

Excellent location on Union Lake. We sat outside and it was wonderful. Our server Manuel was the very best. Service was top notch all around. The food is excellent, come hungry, because the portions are massive. We had appetizers and mains and were stuffed. It was my daughter's 15th birthday, she crushed the Tiramisu they gave her for dessert. It looked good but she didn't leave any for the rest of us!! Around the table someone ordered a salad, lamb chops, pasta, chicken parmigiana and the sea bass special. Everything was perfect. Drinks were also good; we had several of various designs and each was delicious. I recommend a visit, especially in the summer and fall, it is a beautiful location.

The service was great. Food was good. I had the pasta Bolognese it was very fresh. My wife got the Caesar salad with the salmon. It was very good, but the salmon portion was really small. I was shocked. We also got the calamari and shrimp appetizer. It was really good and big enough for six people at least great value. I would definitely recommend Aurora on the Lake

Selected an early dinner time (5:15 pm) to get patio seating. On arrival they attempted to seat us inside saying that 1) Patio seating is not guaranteed, 2) Although patio seating was clearly available and other patrons were seated on the patio, they claimed that wait staff could not serve the open tables at that time - huh? 3) We would need to return to the entrance and wait for availability. We opted instead to sit at a high top in the bar area. So, bad start. This was the part of service I rated poorly. Service thereafter was fine. Menu selections are good and fairly priced, some with choice of smaller and regular size plates. Food was only OK but will return to try other selections.

The setting is what brought us in. The food and service is what will bring us back. We had a great diner starting with the cocktails Apple Cider Sangria, followed by the Caesar salad Youssef prepared, followed by the mussels, and finished with the grilled branzino

Worst dining experience ever. My steak was my well done so I asked them to make a new one. The 2nd steam was purple. The manager came over to talk to me and told me they wouldnt make a new one and he laughed in my face. I asked him to comp my meal and he said they wouldnt snd laughed in my face thinking i was the idiot to not pay for something I didnt consume. He told me hr was going to call the cops on me as well. I have never been so belittled in my entire life. I was fine to pay for everything else we consumed, but not something I didnt even eat. I advise everyone not to even look at this place. the wait staff doesnt even want to work there

We’ve always enjoyed your restaurant, but this visit didn’t meet expectations. We were seated next to a large, loud party with several young children, which made the atmosphere chaotic and took away from what we hoped would be an upscale, relaxing dinner with our visiting son. We were also surprised that by our 4:00 p.m. reservation, both the Osso Buco and veal were already sold out. The Caesar salad didn’t meet the quality we’ve come to expect either—lettuce wasn’t fresh, and the prep was off. We understand it was a busy Father’s Day and hope this feedback is helpful for future holiday service planning. We look forward to giving it another try.
