Worst dining experience ever. My steak was my well done so I asked them to make a new one. The 2nd steam was purple. The manager came over to talk to me and told me they wouldnt make a new one and he laughed in my face. I asked him to comp my meal and he said they wouldnt snd laughed in my face thinking i was the idiot to not pay for something I didnt consume. He told me hr was going to call the cops on me as well. I have never been so belittled in my entire life. I was fine to pay for everything else we consumed, but not something I didnt even eat. I advise everyone not to even look at this place. the wait staff doesnt even want to work there

Amazing experience up until getting home and realizing all of our food was not in our to go bag. I usually check the bag when we have the restaurant box up our leftovers, but the service had been great all night so I just knew they included all of our leftovers in our bag. However up arriving home we were missing a whole meal. It won't stop us from visiting again, as the atmosphere was great as well as the service. Just make sure you check your to go bag before you leave.

the best server I’ve ever had was Kennedy. Food was delicious. The weight was a little long, but she made up for it with a free dessert. Excellent experience.

Food was fantastic. Chilean Sea Bass special was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables that came with were deliciously prepared. They were out of a couple wines we chose but the manager came out and got us a different bottle that we really enjoyed. The place was loud. We had a hard time hearing our waitress. Acoustics, I suppose, more than the crowd being rowdy. The interior was very well decorated, the chairs were very comfortable, and the view was great being right there on Union Lake. This place will probably become our special day date place.

We’ve been coming to this spot for our anniversary for 14 years when it was “It’s a Matter of Taste.” Now it’s changed ownership and we gave it a shot last night and we’re disappointed. -We had a reservation and still waited almost 30 mins to be seated. -Then it took 20 mins for us to get a waitress. - The GM picked up on both of these things when he noticed me at the bar trying to get water and drinks because we didn’t have a server…As a result, he frequently checked in on us (which was nice) but ultimately did nothing. -The drinks and food prices were much higher than the previous establishment but no where near as good and smaller portions. -Previous establishment would comp the anniversary dessert and this place did not…even considering all of the unnecessary waiting. -Overall layout of the restaurant was an improvement however. Uncertain if we will have to find a new anniversary dinner spot…

Great food and service. Prices lean toward the high side, but you get what you pay for. When full, the restaurant tends to get quite loud. And with the large tableside caesar salad cart, it's challenging to navigate sometimes.

Two for two. We returned after 10 days and Aurora was every bit as good as before. As Governor Arnold said in The Terminator, "....I'll be back!"

Excellent dining experience--ambiance, right on the lake, food was very good as was the service. It is a pretty noisy restaurant, especially inside, so be prepared for that, but a really good restaurant in a beautiful setting.
