Charlie Palmer's signature Progressive American cuisine first took root in the original townhouse location of Aureole, where he made an early commitment to farm over factory food. Today, Aureole continues to shine at One Bryant Park under the kitchen leadership of Executive Chef Gabriele Carpentieri. Dining at the contemporary Aureole is staged in two venues: the formal Dining Room and more casual Liberty Room. In the Dining Room, terra-rich colors and golden lighting combine to create a comfortable environment and opulent warm glow, reminiscent of Aureole’s original townhouse intimacy. Evening guests may select from a 3-course prix fixe or tasting dinner menu. For lunch, a seasonal 3-course prix fixe menu is available as well as a la carte selections. Reservations can be made here for the Dining Room only. To reserve in our more casual bar room, please visit Aureole - Liberty Room.

Aureole Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed our dinner, the prices are high but well worth it. Food was incredible. We were seated a little late but enjoyed a drink at the bar. Service very attentive, only mishap was that my husband ordered a cocktail and it was missed as we also ordered a bottle of wine.
My husband and I went to Aureole before a Broadway show earlier this month and it was absolutely fantastic. They offer a prix theater menu but we went with the three course dinner due to more options. The waitstaff was incredibly helpful and very attentive without being intrusive. Our dinner was incredibly delicious! I would definitely recommend Aureole!
First, the good news: your service was exemplary. We had a limited time (1 hour) for lunch and our main dish arrived in 30 minutes, which may have had something to do with its quality.
The bad news: the food was not good.
You were offering a prix fix lunch. I had the fish. My companions had the veal. They said they liked the veal, and I hope they did, but my fish was bland and tough. I regret writing this review because I work 3 blocks away and have had many good meals t Aureole. It is possible that your effort to streamline your memo for the Christmas rush has led to a decline in standards. I will check your menu before I visit you again.
The only disappointing aspect was that the a la carte menu was not available. The only options were very overpriced 3, 5 or 7 course tasting menus. Having looked at the menu before hand there was no way that even the most expensive choices added up to $96 dollars.
The food was however delicious and the service was excellent.
Service was abominable. Entrees arrived to the table cold and we sent them back. This must have annoyed the staff because we were ignored by the staff for the remainder of the evening. The wine we ordered was not served until after the (cold) entrees arrived. The whole thing was inexcusable, assuming Aureole considers itself a quality establishment.
My fish was excellent. My husbands ny strip was cooked perfectly but had so much gristle he had to keep spitting out. When the table was cleared no one noticed his bread plate filled with steak gristle. Good attention to my food allergies. Sommelier knowledgeable and very pleasant.
Ours was Thanksgiving Day dinner. All was very well done and our only comment addresses the price for the three course meal. Aureole, when compared to other comparable establishments with ala carte pricing for similar selections, was somewhat overpriced. Quality and presentation was as expected.
We dined at this restaurant for Thanksgiving lunch. On the website they advertised a prix fix Thanksgiving Day menu for $55 per child and $85 per adult. When we arrived this pricing was also printed on our menus.
In our party was my husband, myself and our three children- ages 10, 8 and 6. When the bill came they had charged us for 5 adults instead of 2 adults and 3 kids. I brought the error to our servers attention who said no, the price was $85 per adult. I asked her to check with her manager because the price listed on the menu and the website specified a different price for children. She went and checked with her manager who apparently confirmed that the price was $85- even for kids. A complete discrepancy with their printed menu and their website. I find this false advertising and misrepresentation to be a huge negative.
Immaculate service and the ability to hear my companion were standouts for me, but I'll be remembering the pumpkin flan with eggnog ice cream too. The food is carefully made and beautifully presented with surprising flavor combinations and seasonal ingredients. A great experience.
Charlie Palmer's restaurant is only a pale imitation of what it was a couple of years ago.
the food is average, not great, the truffle menu we picked was faintly flavored with truffle, not the extraordinary experience that you would hope for $500 for 2 (incl. just 1 wine pairing) !
Went to Aureole as a business lunch; first time there. Restaurant is very nicely appointed and tables very clean and neat.
The food was fantastic; tried 3 items from the small portions menu. The endive salad and portabella mushrooms were fantastic.
Nice atmosphere and a great place to dine with friends, clients or loved ones.
A lovely place to dine. Quiet elegance. The service is wonderful and the food beautifully served and quite delicious.
I had the scallops they melted in my mouth. my husband had the steak...he was very satisfied. Calories or not.....Do not pass up the bread....The whole grain bread is light and so very flavorful. The Budino for dessert was a masterpiece of flavors and design..... Cannot wait to go back.
