The overall experience was sub par. The food was awful, and the kitchen "didn't receive my order" so it took a long time. My service was good, I sat at the bar and when the tender realized I hadn't gotten my food he went back and handled it which was nice. But then I got my "brisket sliders" which I would be willing to bet money, we're not brisket. They appeared to be pulled pork with some type of sloppy Joe type BBQ/mixture. And the buns were not fresh.

Terribly SLOW service, took forever for a waitress to acknowledge we were even there. The only 2 drinks we ordered came out at least 5 min apart from each other?! Same happened with the food, the wagyu beef bowl was good but salmon rice bowl wasn’t. Tacos were ok. Asked to have the sauces put on the side for 8yo granddaughter but that request was ignored so she ended up not eating hers for that reason which is frustrating because the lunch bill was $125 for 3. Scorching hot out & there are no umbrellas to shade the dining tables only the couch seating had umbrellas. Wouldn’t recommend.

Wanted to be outside because it was a gorgeous day. We had couple rounds of drinks and chips and guacamole- both were good. Server was friendly. A little pricey for what we got, but I understand that completely. You pay more for the atmosphere and expect to at a nice rooftop bar. I would return for sure !

Hostess has brought us to our table and we asked if we can sit on one of the empty couches, cause plenty of couches had 2 people at them. We were told there was a party of 5 coming and we couldn't. An hour and passed and no party of 5 showed up and 3 more couches were empty. On top of that when we were brought our food, the same hostess has dropped a handful of our chips cause she places them in the edge of the table instead of in the middle where we had made room. When we asked for more chips to replace them, they did, but charged us extra for it

Server stated no drink specials. Took over 20 minutes to get our two drinks. Server stated oven in kitchen was not working so couldn’t get three items. Drinks were good once they arrived. Food was ok, nothing special.

Me and my husband came to charlotte to celebrate our anniversary, we decided to come to Aura, we had an amazing time, the vibes at this place were incredible, Charlise was incredible very attentive, super friendly she made our vacation memorable, Shot out to Danny for also taking care of us!
