Aura is a neighborhood restaurant that celebrates how food, drink, people, and atmosphere come together
Aura is inspired by the banks of the Mediterranean, the spirit of family, the crisp coolness of a just caught oyster, the vibrancy of farm fresh vegetables, and the spirit of, “il dolce far niente.”

Here at Aura, we pride ourselves on hospitality, with a focus on memorable moments, whether you’re coming in for a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar, an intimate dinner with friends, or a large celebration.

Our menus are inspired by our culture, our seasonal ingredients, and our travels… and we welcome you to share your aura with us. We hope to see you soon.

    Fabulous as always! We ordered a bunch of appetizers. One was more delicious than the next. I especially loved the grilled oysters, and I have never tasted a better crab cake. Huge pieces of lump crab meat! I usually avoid crab cakes because of the breading. I ate here with some friends last week and one of them ordered the crab cakes, she said no breading (!) so I wanted to try them. I was not disappointed. My son is a foodie as well as being a personal chef so it’s a challenge to take him somewhere special. Aura fit the bill. He loved everything. And the music is just the right volume for a pleasant background with the ability to still have a conversation.

    I’ve dined here a few times and will definitely go back again! I love the food, service and atmosphere. It’s nice to have a place like this so close to home near Long Beach. Joe was very attentive and helpful.

    Always greeted so warmly- this restaurant has the best food in the area. Great vibe and great service. Can’t wait to return.

    The food was delicious, the restaurant "vibe" was great and the overall experience was excellent. Excellent service, and very accommodating. I highly recommend!

    If you love great food that you can’t get anywhere else in Long Island then Aura is the place to go!! It’s always an incredible culinary experience with owners and staff that care about their customers and their brand!! Mediterranean Excellence.

    Finally tried this restaurant after hearing some good things about it from friends and I was not disappointed. Service was excellent as the staff were polite and attentive. Had trouble deciding what to order as so many things on the menu were tempting. Everything we ordered tasted great. Will be going back to sample more from the menu.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The food was great, fresh, delicious, and kept me wanting more. I do believe some of the drinks were a bit more on the funkier side, experimental and some fun, but some just weren’t that good. The service was great, our waitress was energetic, fun, and very friendly, they go out of their way to be attentive to your dinning experience, helpful with questions, and extremely accommodating!
