Fish tacos were good and kids mac and cheese looked decent. My poke bowl should have been called a poke cup. Smallest poke serving I've ever seen. It was good...just tiny and a terrible value. An ok option if you're unwilling to leave the Westin, but there are definitely better dining options nearby.
My wife and I really enjoyed the prime rib! It was on the rare side of medium rare just as we like it!
The seafood stew was just as good as the first visit 2 years ago. Also, good for happy hour. It's a convenient and casual restaurant if you're staying at the Westin KOR.
Aunties was mediocre, expensive, slow service. Food was nothing special cocktail was watered down and noticeably different from previous when available as drink of the day at Westin villas north pool bar which is awesome food and service the drink “ tropical Collins”. Will never utilize this place again
Food was so not good. Service was brutal. View was good.
What a great salad we had there. Hyper-local ingredients, super fresh, and very tasty. This is a great, centrally located find for a reasonably priced lunch, don't know that I'd recommend for dinner. Tasty and the service, which can be a little notoriously slow on the island comparatively, was quick.
It’s a reasonable choice for a resort - casual and the food was tasty.
We had reservations and were promptly seated. That was the highlight of our service.
We each ordered a cocktail and our entrees (poké and an herb-roasted chicken dish). Both entrees were wonderful. I'm still wondering what the sauce was that was served under the chicken. I want a gallon! :)
Halfway through our meal my cocktail glass and water glass were both empty. It took over ten minutes to get our server's attention and when she acknowledged me she immediately brought us our check. I explained I was not needing the check but another cocktail and a water refill. It took another five minutes to get anything to drink because she waited for the bartender to make the cocktail before she refilled my water glass.
After dinner, we wanted to order dessert but it took another ten minutes to get the server's attention and by that time we just decided to leave. The restaurant was busy on this Friday night and I was surprised during the 75 minutes we were there we never saw a member of management walking the dining room asking diners how everything was.
The food was great. Now if they could only get the service up to the level of the food.
A delightful respite amid all of the hustle and bustle of Kaanapali! The food is good and the service is very professional.
Great food and services
Was very excited based on the other Opentable reviews, but this was overpriced and under delivered. The wait staff just wasn’t close to good and the food didn’t make up for it. The patio had a terrific ambiance, but I can’t recommend to anyone considering a good meal. The entire party of 6 was disappointed. Lots of other options in the area.
Good food and service. It’s located right by a pool so it’s not very intimate and it’s priced for the holiday resort crowd, meaning somewhat expensive, but the food is very good. Love the fish tacos in particular.
The prime rib is our favorite, and it did not disappoint this visit which was very good, especially since this visit was on my wife's birthday! However, service was unusually poor this visit due to not enough waiters working a very busy dining room on a Saturday evening. Our waiter was doing everything he could, but when he took our drink order, he immediately turned and took 4 other tables' meal orders. This told us our drinks were not going to arrive anytime soon, so I picked them up at the bar myself. Very surprised at the understaffing on a Saturday night when the resort was full - management should have known better.
Excellent food and service and actually affordable compared to other restaurants in the area.
The prime rib is one of the best around! Thumbs up to bartender Chris, always good to see him.
We ate here twice (almost three times). The 3rd time, we actually left after not getting helped for 25 minutes (they were not busy). The breakfast buffet was gross. From a giant brick of scrambled eggs to soggy waffles. The only good thing about it was the fruit. The 2nd time we went for lunch, long wait time (still not busy), empty drinks, and the "avocado" that was on the sandwich was actually a smear of guacamole spread. A fabulous location is no excuse for terrible food / service.
Shrimp was served not cooked
Had to flag the waiter to get any service
Portions were small
Price was too high for what you received
Good food, great service. The pictures on Open Table are a bit deceiving, this is a poolside bar/restaurant. Be prepared for people to be sloshing thru in trunks and thongs. Food was good, standard poolside menu. Our server was excellent and really on top of things. Enjoy!
Go for the prime rib! Ours was a great medium rare!
This was our first visit to Auntie's Kitchen for dinner. Usually we stop by the bar and have drinks and a quick snack when we're staying at the Westin Villas. My wife and I both had the prime rib, and we were very surprised how good it was... I mean, very good prime rib without having to take the shuttle down to Lahaina. I subbed french fries but my wife stayed with the veggies and both were great sides as was the mac salad. We'll definitely be back!
I ordered a hamburger with fries that was just ok. We had a better hamburger at Cool Cat. The drinks were good, but the food is not. Also, the coconut cake they came is good is very bland!!!
Best burger ever!!!
We went for dinner at our hotel. It was definitely family friendly and very casual (still saw some people in bathing suits). My husband had the prime rib and I had the chicken both were good. If you are looking for a laid back place and ease I would recommend going here.
Good food at a very reasonable, for Maui, price. Sitting by the pool is not the best ambiance. Good wait staff. Try to the coconut cake! Wonderful!
Convenient and great service
Solid casual meal. Resort dining, so it was more expensive than non-resort venues but convenient as we are staying at the resort. Very attentive service and good food. We had poke bowls and they were fresh and delicious. The coconut cake was light and tasty.
Very good dinner casual setting outside. Wednesday was fresh lobster night and it was amazing! My husband loved it! It came with potatoes and drawn butter. I had a seafood coconut stew which was lovely-clean, rich and hearty like a chowder . They even had gluten free roll with it! Cocktails were inventive. To finish meal...the coconut cake as out of this world and reminds me of childhood and home! Server was great as well!
Over priced food with a bar/pool atmosphere. Kids and adults walking thru the restaurant in wet bathing suits, fine for a poolside bar but not at the venue described in their advertising (or pricing). Also, wine list was sub par at best and the cocktail options are seriously dated.
Fun place for lunch, dinner and drinks! Seth has been our waiter most days and he is best along with Alex ( from Romania )
Excellent restaurant and Seth is a attentive and friendly server
Servers Seth and Alex were excellent and made our vacation and dinning fun!
Excellent service and all day food choices
Friendly service, excellent food and convenient in the Westin Villa
A nice choice of lunch items and friendly servers.
Great food and customer services
Arrived at reservation time- hostess had to bus several tables- server was very friendly- restaurant not very busy yet it took over an hour to get food which was not hot upon arrival. Coffee at breakfast was cool
The only thing wrong with the kitchen was the undercooked Mahi Mahi in the fish taco. Too raw for my taste. I should have spoken up while ordering and asked them to cook the fish longer.
Food was good, but services was slow
This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food was DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back!
