Aunt Jake's was founded in 2015, as the company set out to replicate the idyllic, simplistic cuisine we grew up to enjoy. However, we wanted to create Italian food for the “next” generation. The idea was to develop an Italian concept around the customer’s choice of how to eat pasta compared to how the restaurant wanted you to eat it. With that in mind, Aunt Jake’s core mission is to bring high-quality fresh ingredients daily to craft our handmade pasta and sauces health-consciously. The customer can mix and match sauce with shape and create a custom dish of their own.

I had such a fun and memorable experience at Aunt Jake’s! Went for a girls’ night out, and it was the perfect activity. We took their pasta-making class, and it was absolutely worth it — just $60 for a hands-on, interactive evening. The instructor was fantastic — super friendly, engaging, and made learning to make pasta from scratch really enjoyable. We got to create four different pasta shapes and customize our own dishes with the sauce of our choice. The pasta was fresh and delicious, and the mussels I had as part of the three-course meal were a standout! Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. To top it all off, dessert was a sundae that hit the spot and ended the night on a sweet note. Plus, I got to take home a ball of dough to recreate the experience in my own kitchen. Highly recommend Aunt Jake’s if you’re looking for something unique, fun, and tasty. Perfect for a date, a night out with friends, or even just treating yourself.

The pasta making class with Anthony was excellent! He was very entertaining, yet very professional and informative. Anthony made sure everyone in class was taken care of and he was easy to follow along! The course itself was about 1.5 hours and then followed by a 3 course dinner which was delicious. For $80, this is one of the best value meals and entertainment I've had in NYC. Shout out to Aunt Jake's and Anthony for making our night special!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at aunt Jake’s. The pasta making class was interactive and fun! Chef Anthony was a great teacher and was making everyone laugh. The food was delicious and was a 3 course meal, with each of us receiving an appetizer, main and dessert. The atmosphere was great and the noise level was great, we were able to hear each other but it was still lively. It was a great deal and bang for your buck in NYC, the portion sizes were large! Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience for my anniversary. The pasta making guide was amazing, funny, and just made the experience all that much better. 10/10 experience, and I would love to come again!!
