Can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Cocktails are great as well.
Great food, ambiance and attentive service. Simple, clean menu with lots of options. Also cool to see pasta being made in the open!
Pankaces were yummi but overall had a bad brunch experience. Mostly bad service, carrot juice tasted watered down and sugared, and the waiter was very rude when we asked about it, kept walking away while we were speaking to him and being passive agressive.
Casual cozy vibe, friendly service, & delicious food! Loved the kale Caesar salad, burrata, & well-prepared rigatoni w/ their “Sunday sauce” (house tomato w/ short rib, sausage, & veal)!
Best food!!! The whole experience was great ... I recommend the lasagna!
This was our second visit to Aunt Jakes and we thoroughly enjoyed it from appetizers to dessert !
Tim, our waiter, was pleasant and helpful. Overall service was great. Will definitely go back!!
Tim was AMAZING!
Downstairs ambiance is better. Food and wine selection are delicious. Service was okay. Didn't really stop by our table a lot. Different waiters for everything brought to the table. Cleared the table quickly for turn over. Would come back again and request to sit downstairs.
They need to stop, think and create flavor over show.
Was very happy with the meal.
Service could have been better - the hostess took our order but didn’t know anything about the menu and had to continue to go back and ask the kitchen and then wouldn’t come back to our table for quite sometime
Great places to come with a few friends for some soul food
Great environment! Staff were friendly, food was good. Great spot for two people or a group. Would definitely recommend!
Absolutely fabulous! Food is amazing they don’t rush you...can’t wait to go back again!
Was pleasantly surprised. Went for brunch, will be back for a dinner soon.
Absolutely delicious- couldn't have asked for a better meal!
Fantastic food, best homemade pasta and one of us had Gluten free pasta and all agreed, Very tasty and inventive sauces. Terrific staff, warm, helpful. We were there twice in one hour Erin’s and the first night we sat at the bar watching the pasta being made - great food and an opportunity to watch a master at work
Wonderful food! Great manager. Loved!
Had an excellent Sunday brunch. Server was friendly and gave suggestions. Lemon ricotta pancakes were to die for and farmhouse breakfast fresh and delicious.
1 hour wait, terrible waiter- host had to apologize for how bad waiter was. I was assuming they’d comp some of the meal based on this but they didn’t
Went to the restaurant a week ago on a Sunday early evening. I will rate A good friend was in from out of town and likes pasta. We wanted to try out Aunt Jakes before but on a night without a reservation it was a one and half hour wait. So, Sunday we made an Open Table reservation for 5:30pm for 3. The disappointment started when they sat us promptly at a small 2-top table located in a high traffic area. We asked for a 4-top but they said none are available. For the next half hour we watched 4 larger tables remain empty. We spoke to 2 different waiters each saying they would try to move us. After a half hour and still larger empty tables we decided to go on Open Table and book a reservation down the street. While we were doing that and informed are waiter we are leaving all of a sudden 3 different waiters came over to assist. One said they could seat us upstairs at a 4-top table. We decided to stay and finally move to a larger table upstairs. Next disappointment came after we ordered 2 pasta dishes and one fish. About 20 minutes after ordering the waiter came back to say there was no more fish! I would think they should have known this as soon as the order went in not 20 minutes later. The evening was a disappointment over all. The food was no better then most similar prices pasta restaurants. Our guest wasn't impressed and I see no reason for my wife and I to go back. This is a city with thousands of restaurants.
The food and ambience was great. Service too. We weren’t rushed out. Would come back, and will!
It was great
Food was fresh and amazing!!!! Highly recommended. Service was great
Great Village restaurant, good service and delicious pasta. Fish is excellent also.
Table was a bit small for 3 people but the food was really good and service was attentive. I would go back.
Food is delicious, place is beautiful and open, and wait staff is nice, but I much prefer the Little Italy location. We had a reservation but we’re still seated 3 people to a 2 top table, and it took a long time for our orders to be taken and food/drinks to come out. Environment is cozy.
Nice surprise find! Super cute restaurant and delicious homemade pasta! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back! I would suggest always having a reservation as I saw them turn people away. Also, iced tea seems expensive at $4 per glass with no refills. I will be back but will enjoy a glass of wine instead next time!
Pasta is one of the best I’ve ever had!
Visited Friday night (for the first time) and enjoyed it. Joe, our waiter, was personable and helpful with dinner suggestions. We will definitely make a return trip!
Love this place! One of my fav Italian restaurants in NYC - the squid ink is amazing with their lamb ragu sauce. Honestly anything I've tried here is great!
Love this spot! Great brunch options, but also can't beat those homemade pastas. I also really liked the fresh-pressed juices.
We just happened to stumble upon this restaurant on OpenTable as we were looking for a place to brunch before we left town. We took a chance and we’re so glad we did. Everything was wonderful, the food had excellent flavor the service was incredible, the atmosphere clean and crisp, and one in our party had the burger and had to share it with everyone because it was that good. This definitely will go on the list of places to revisit.
Good pasta. Nice ambience. Will go back.
We had an amazing dining experience. The chicken parm and shrimp scampi were outstanding. I’m from North Jersey and have eaten plenty of Italian food in my day. I truly believe that the chicken parm here may have been the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was extremely fresh and delicious.
Perfect place in the Village to bring a date, have a romantic meal, or meet up with friends.
This is my second time at Aunt Jakes and it did not disappoint. The salads and pastas couldn't be fresher, and the option to create ones own pasta dinner is very appealing.
A pleasant discovery in the vicinity we live!! Seating was perfect and more importantly accommodative of kids! Definitely to be visited at least couple times!!
I went with two friends to celebrate a birthday. The food is delicious! Fresh pasta was luscious and all of our sauces were just perfection. We stayed a while and never felt like we were being pushed out. Lovely decor. Overall great experience. Can’t wait to go back!
This restaurant was amazing! The food is delicious! Inside is beautiful, and I loved the way it was decorated. There is something for everybody on the menu. Our waiter was very attentive and answered any questions we had. Overall the experience was fantastic and I’m recommending this restaurant to all my friends for sure!
First time at this location, loved how it was setup, how evem though we had a reservation we did not have to wait. I loved the courteous staff who were available when needed and were able to help with recommendations. Definitely a place I will be looking forward going back to.
