The owners of Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn, Italian Kitchen & Legendary Desserts decided to bring their concept to a new location in Marlboro, New Jersey located at 430 Route 9 North. The concept for this restaurant is to create the same family-oriented atmosphere as is offered in the Staten Island location. The vision for this location is based solely on renovating an existing space into something new and fresh. This restaurant is designed with love while incorporating rich, rustic materials balanced with sleek, clean, contemporary elements.
Aunt Butchie’s looks forward to establishing new relationships in this location and enticing consumers to enjoy this “Home Away From Home” concept. This old world with a twist of contemporary concept channels through every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the recipes.

Rigatoni Auntie butchies was excellent so stay with pastas.
First ordered pork chop scarpirella, came out over cooked, dry and chewey. They replaced it with a veal dish which was worse, very tough and rubbery, tasted gamey or old,so they most likely use Canadian veal which is nothing like domestic veal, much less money and inferior quality

The food is delicious here - which is why we come back! Noise level is medium to high (Saturday evenings being the worst..... we know to avoid visiting then!), which is unfortunate if you enjoy conversation with friends at your table. Today, we waited a very long time for our entrees, but it seems to have been a problem with the kitchen not receiving the waitress's ticket for our table. Once my husband inquired about our entrees, there were many apologies, the entrees were delivered quickly thereafter, and we were offered free dessert - which was very generous if you've seen their offerings (Pistachio Tartufo is my favorite!)! Portions are huge, and I have plenty left over for another meal or two. I highly recommend the stuffed meatball from the appetizer menu - it's to die for! We'll be back for sure. 😊

First time to this restaurant. The food was amazing, but the service was TERRIBLE. Once we were seated, it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come over and bring us water. She quickly ran away once again, and it was another 10 minutes before we were able to catch her again to put in our order. The appetizers and bread all came out at the same time. Another half hour went by after the appetizers were cleaned from our table before the dinner meal came. At that point, we were no longer hungry. Once the dinner came, we didn't see anyone again for 20 minutes before the waitress came by and asked us how everything was. By that point, my need for pepper and cheese had past as my food was now cold. We waited for another 20 minutes for someone to come by after we were done eating to package up our food. It should also be noted that the restaurant was only half full - we went at 3pm on a Sunday.

We really enjoyed our dinner very much. We loved the pasta ( crumbled sausage and broccoli rabe) so flavorful as appetizer and the spedieni with capers and white wine was excellent . They do half portions of pasta which is great. The entrees were excellent as well. We did take out for the dessert from the amazing bakery! I highly suggest you try Aunt Butchie's ! We will be back real soon!!
