Went there for Sunday brunch for two. Got the sausage skillet which was tasty but very greasy. Sausage should be drained before putting the other ingredients in. The open face hamburger egg Benedict was good and creative. Presentation and coffee was good too. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Will try quiche next time.
Lovely atmosphere for a quiet brunch with friends! Fabulous mimosas. Zoe, our server, was very attentive, warm, and gracious!
Parker was great
Brunch menu is comforting yet creative me and my three guests all ate something different an all were very happy with the flavors and presentation of our meals. Would definitely like to return for brunch again!
Greeted as soon as we walked in. Seated quickly. Great server. Very informative and helpful with menu. Good wine and delicious dinner.
Excellent place for an intimate night out ; wonderful food and servcie, great atmosphere and quiet, loved it and will be back!
Excellent food and service in a comfortable, quiet, upscale environment.
We had a fun and delicious experience. Great service and the food pleased all at the table. Save room for dessert!
Lunch was great!!! The Scottish Egg was a great new item on the menu as was the new benedict burger!! The Croque Madam is not new, but still fantastic and quite authentic!. Service was also really excellent. This is a great restaurant and we will be back often.
This was a Valentine's Dinner and we chose their associated set course menu. Unfortunately the halibut they served my wife was still frozen and the response we were given was that the chef apologized because not all the fish he selected from had been thawed. Given the health consequences of serving raw fish one would hope that the chef at least checked to make sure the fish was cooked before bringing it to the table. Our waiter, Dominic, was a star and brought out a different dish as quickly as he could. But we were very disappointed that no one else besides Dominic came to our table to apologize. At the end of the meal our bill was reduced 20% for raw fish, but a reputable restaurant would have done more.
Finally a place that does not over salt the food! Pumpkin soup and boullibase very rich. Duck cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back
While the restaurant itself is very nice I was very disappointed in the food I ordered. I ordered the Boullabaisse which was very disappointing. There was very little seafood and not all of the items listed on the menu. Two shrimp. small amount of fish and no mussels. The main ingredients were potatoes and carrots. The potatoes were very large pieces and were hard and needed a knife to cut, the carrots were whole and needed to be cut, the two shrimp had on tails and needed to be cut. Won't be back.
Apps and salad entrees were good, mains were just ok which drags down the whole experience. Wait staff was attentive and polite, no issues there. Wine list was small but had a few decent picks on it.
Portion size a touch small for price. Service was fantastic as well as management. Will definitely be back!!!
Great little French restaurant in the heart of Zionsville!
The food was excellent, although the portions were a bit too large. Our meal was ruined by a family with three very unruly children that were seated right next to us.
Wonderful food and atmosphere with great service from Dominic
Lovely cozy setting on a snowy evening! Great service, delicious cocktails, dinner and dessert. We will definitely be back!
Service very slow. Unclear how much was fault of kitchen vs wait staff.
Meat in Beef Bourguignon dry and overcooked. Other diners' food was OK.
We live in Zionsville and have dined at Auberge several times....We were entertaining a dear friend from Michigan and she LOVED it. Our waitress, Parker, was great .....very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu....and she laughed at my jokester! We’ll be back!
I sat at the bar. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was attentive. The Salad Lyonnaise, with nice crispy chunks of bacon and a warm lightly cooked egg on top really hit the mark. The French onion soup was as good or better than I’ve ever had anywhere else, France included. The manager recommended a wine that was a great match and helped make for an excellent experience all around.
Food was slow to arrive (45 minutes to just get the appetizer), came cold, and was undercooked.
Parker was a fabulous server. Made for a wonderful evening in snowy Zionsville!
They need a cell phone policy so obnoxious fellow diners don’t do high volume face times during meals.
Otherwise, this is an AMAZING place with superb entrees, champagne cocktails unsurpassed, a breathtaking wind list. I only wish I’d left room for dessert. The staff are intelligent, welcoming, and attentive without hovering.
My new favorite.
Outstanding service, food and drinks! Very accommodating! A new favorite!
I think this could be a good restaurant experience if the service was more prompt. While I appreciate a slower dining experience, it was too long a wait for the courses.
Very rushed and hurried during what should have been a relaxing New Years Eve dinner. The filet was not quality at all.
We went to Auberge for New Years Eve. In a word, the restaurant was outstanding. The restaurant does not have a lot of tables so reservations are a must. We had table by the fireplace. There was a guitar player in the middle of the room close to us that further enhanced this special night. I worked with a French company so I visit France 4 to 6 times per year and had the privilege of staying at Auberge in both France and Switzerland. The Auberge is as good as any Auberge where I stayed. The list includes a Michelin 1 star and 2 star restaurants. I had pheasant entree with a pumpkin risotto and Escargot first course. My wife had filet with Foie Gras. Both dishes were outstanding. We opted to have the wine parings with each course. The wines perfectly matched each course.
Such a gem of a restaurant. It has quickly become one of our favorites due to the fabulous menu, delightful ambiance, and wonderful staff.
We were a group of 9, the majority of whom have a discriminating palate, and everyone enjoyed dinner a great deal. I had the escargot, which are always excellent at Auberge, and then the lamb chops which were exceptional that night, maybe just a little more cooked than the rare to medium rare I had requested, but nonetheless prepared with a great deal of sophistication and complexities of flavors. The service was great - Parker knows exactly what she is doing - she is gracious and efficient. The environment is great at Auberge - very comfortable and it is a refreshingly small restaurant. The noise level is higher than what would be desired to complete an intimate environment where the patrons actually talk and enjoy each other. I strongly recommend Auberge and will hopefully be back again soon for my 10+ visit. Bon appetit!
We had our children and grandchildren at Auberge for brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday - a family tradition. The menu is fantastic, the food delicious, the service top shelf, and the atmosphere casually elegant. You can't go wrong with Auberge.
We had great expectations and for the most part they were met or exceeded. The food was excellent and our server Dominique was wonderful - attentive, helpful- but not a helicopter server. My only critique is the noise level was high and dining with a friend of advanced years it was hard to converse. With that said, it was an extremely busy night and the Zionsville village sponsored a pub crawl that drew a lot of people in and out the door. Auberge is definitely on our repeat list.
Excellent ambiance, excellent service, excellent food, quiet atmosphere, what more could you want?
I was served spoiled food that smelled so badly even the table next to us complained.
GNO Christmas - poor service. Slow & inattentive waitress. Champagne vendor for Ladies Night sat on his dead you-know-what & looked at his phone all night. He never greeted guests or offered samples. We had to ask him! WTH???? And, what’s even worse is the Manager say next to him all nigh & did ZERO to welcome or engage guests. We will never return or recommend Auberge to anyone.
Took my wife there for a birthday celebration on 12/5. Unlike last year they did not offer her anything for dessert. Service was moderate. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed at times. My wife enjoyed her dinner. I had the bread encrusted veal and found it to be somewhat challenging. Using a butter knife to cut through the toasted bread was difficult. I should have asked for a steak knife. Dish was okay, but a little salty for my taste. We have been before and and will go back again. The other times have been excellent.
We, a group of 4, thought the food was very good. Our server Parker was outstanding and on top of her business.
The ambiance is truly charming. The restaurant is housed in a historic 8-room hotel in downtown Zionsville which dates back to the mid-1800's. The food items are locally sourced and prepared uniquely although the menu is rather limited. My wife had the Beef Bourguignon and I had the Bouillabaisse. Both were extremely delicious. Our server, Dominic, was very attentive without being overbearing. All entrees are moderately priced although the alcoholic drinks and wine are a bit on the high side. We will be definitely returning!
Auberge is a quaint little restaurant connected to the Brick Street Inn in the heart of Zionsville. The brunch is amazing from the shrimp and grits to the croque madame! The frites with garlic aioli are great too!
