A companion to the celebrated Kitsilano institution Au Comptoir, Au Petit Comptoir is a downtown Vancouver French bistro specializing in steak frites and moules frites, among other French classics, for dinner. Brunch offerings include the iconic Au Comptoir burger, croque monsieur and madame, and omelette.

    Wonderful meal. We have been there for brunch but first time for dinner. I asked to change for an outdoor reservation beforehand and got a response quickly. Was there for my wife’s birthday and the server brought out a nice acknowledgment. Food is excellent and service is impeccable.

    Au Petit Comptoir is a neighbourhood gem. The owner and staff are wonderful, and the food is outstanding. We have taken many friends there for brunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. This French restaurant deserves to be discovered!

    Great food as usual, had the moules-frites. Best fries in Vancouver. Chocolate mousse is t die for. Great service.

    My girlfriend and I got an amazing experience there. The service was perfect. We felt cozy and the decoration is similar as a French typical restaurant in Paris. We have met a lovely and brilliant waitress in there. We recommend for all the French food lovers.

    It’s a hidden gem! Tucked under the bridge, you’ll find yourself transported to Paris. We appreciated the details from the dishes, cutlery, spacial functionality, and the thoughtfully prepared dishes, my mom and I were very pleased! We will be back!

    Such a wonderful experience here, fromt he decor, to the service - and of course, the food! We ordered many items, and all of them were delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing night and amazing meal!
