Atrium
All the food was really salty. The vibe and atmosphere are really nice and aesthetic though.
Took my parents here for their first time. They were in love with the food and had to order second helpings of their favorite dishes: the carpaccio & the mussels.
Great vibe and service. Portions could better, especially the salads that were served on half the plate.
Great for five people. We shared everything—delicious food—and the music was perfect and at a volume where we were able to have a conversation.
Did not enjoy. Food was over complicated and overpriced Don’t order the oatmeal carbonara. Terrible
Our second time here. Absolutely the most delicious food in LA right now. Everything, including desert was so delicious, with complex flavors and textures. Beautiful and open space makes the ambiance nice.
This restaurant is divine! FANTASTIC! and innovative FOOD, incredibly fresh Ingredients. Lovely staff. Yummy yummy fish, delectable and completely unique vegetables. I had a lot of business lunches and dinners this week and went to a lot of “hot” restaurants. And this was the only superlatives meal I had. I will come back here frequently and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves really delicious food. And compared to so many restaurants in town the prices are really fair and reasonable
Beautiful restaurant and great service, but that's it - the food was lackluster and overpriced. We ordered the bread & kimchi butter which was the best thing we had. The smashed potatoes were ok, but the oyster mushrooms were so highly salted they were almost inedible. The cauliflower shwarma was equally salty, and the entree was $28 dollars but only came with one piece of lavash, which was stale and broke when we tried to make the 'shwarma.' We gave up after a few bites and asked for the check. Wouldn't return.
Had brunch at Atrium for a belated birthday celebration with friends. The service was great - at first I wasn’t sure what could accommodate a vegan diet, but our server was very helpful and gave several recommendations that I had a little difficulty deciding between them all! The ambience was perfect and our party really enjoyed the music playlist. I look forward to coming back!
This is my second time at Atrium and the food continues to be very good! We celebrated a friends birthday and they brought to her a beautiful glass box with candle aglow and a lovely potted cacti! That was a nice surprise and touch! My only complaint was that we were charged for an extra piece lavash bread to go with the delicious cauliflower shawarma. The dish comes to the table enough for 3 people but only one piece of lavash so it's understandable that you would ask for a second piece. Why don't they include it from the beginning? Both times I've been there we had to ask for a second piece to go with the huge portion of cauliflower shawarma dish. It may sound petty, but I feel it isn't fair.
Beautiful date spot with excellent service and even better food.
Delicious food, and our waitress Claire was great-- very informative and friendly
I want to give this place a higher rating but it's just tough having to spend so much money on small plates. The food was delicious but we felt kinda rushed by our server and everything on the menu was just a little bit to pricey for the small portions (including the half serving size drinks). 3 small dishes and a few drinks should not cost over $150 and leave you hungry.
It's a really cool vibe, but the food just wasn't that great. I'd recommend going here for drinks, but not for dinner. I hope they improve the food, but right now - not great.
Great first time experience at the Atrium. Great service, food, and ambiance! Will definitely be returning soon!
Delicious entrees that were interesting and unique. There was an enormous variety of choices for small plates
Lovely but very expensive. We were encouraged to share but one dessert for a not inexpensive $14 was really 2 bites each. Tasty but not so exceptional to justify the price. Bread with kimchi butter was good but 2 small pieces for $9? Really ?
The food was mediocre
The service was very slow
They were confused
Charged us for things we never got
It was ok
The reviews had it made out to be so good
Was pretty disappointed
We went to Atrium for my daughter’s birthday. The setting is lovely, with all wood paneling. The noise level is quite high. Service was excellent, as were the cocktails. The wait staff told us to order 10 total dishes for our party of 5. We wound up getting 8, which was plenty. The food was very tasty and attractive. However, the portion size (especially the steak) was small. The highlights were the whole fish, the focaccia and the vegetable dishes. The steak was barely enough for two bites per person and was only ok.
Great ambiance and vibe! My second time dining here, food was delicious both times. Also a great spot to have drinks/snacks before the Greek since it's just down the hill.
Still one of my all time favorite restaurants.
My go to spot!
Outstanding! The food, the service, the ambiance, and the birthday surprise was a beautiful touch. Will happily return again and again.
Seasonal menu and a beautiful interior. The Crispy Whole Fish is amazing.
My favorite restaurant right next door to my favorite theatre... which is producing my play. I only recommend Atrium to all coming to the play and so appreciate the 10% discount. Know that EVERYONE raves and will be back. Hugs and appreciation to all!
The food was good but supremely overpriced for what it was
Service was not attentive
It’s a pretty room but the brunch was uninspired to say the least. Every dish had the same heavy-handed garnishes, piled with pickled onion, cilantro and a chunk of lime. They all look identical. The plates were inappropriate for the dishes, too small and crowded for the food and the insisted-upon sharing. The avocado toast was waaay over salted, even for me, which I didn’t think was possible. The eggs were well-prepared and the posole was nicely flavored, but honestly, how is a bowl of broth something designed to share? They waitstaff repeatedly pushes dish sharing, recommending we order six dishes for three people, which was absurd. The service was enthusiastic but feels pushy and like you’re being upsold. Maybe a fun place for a drink but not a meal. Oh yes, the biscuit was quite good if you like a sweet biscuit.
Lovely design - a truly beautiful space. The creative comfort food is good, but to charge $3.50 for a teaspoon of jam, and $1.50 for a spread of butter, is unnecessary.
Overall a disappointment... was honestly a little too pretentious for what it is. We walked in and were met by attitude from most of staff, except for hostess. Food was not memorable and pork chops were no longer available and it was only 6pm.
Really unique food. The vegetable dishes were particularly outstanding. Loved the cauliflower shwarma. Next time we think it would be fun to get all appetizers and salads to share.
Amazing food! Whole fish is a must!
both the fish and pork chop were over cooked. Lot's of stuff piled on top of them that didn't really add to the dish
Great food, great service, would not change a thing
I had the biscuits, avocado toast and fried chicken & waffles, all very yummy. Love the decor and Service was great
This was our first time dining at Atrium and due to the poor customer service I would not recommend it. We were never asked if we would like to order another drink nor was our water refilled. The server didn’t even come to ask how we were doing and if the food was good.
I would probably not recommend Atrium to a friend if they were having a special event (it was our anniversary). But, I could see how it might be a neighborhood favorite. They have interesting dishes, with a lot of flavor. However, I was not partial to the overuse of seeds on everything we ordered and it just was not my cup of tea. We got a bad table right by the entrance and I imagine we would have enjoyed the beautiful dining room if we were seated at another table.
Great food and ambience.
What a delightful surprise Atrium turned out to be. The menu is imaginative and the flavors are delicious. The setting is atmospheric, spacious, and with a very local vibe. The staff was inviting, humorous, attentive, and delightful in every respect. We're pleased we live fairly near this new neighborhood pleasure. Well done, Atrium Gang!
Bulgogi corn is a must! Hamachi crudo is fantastic. The whole fish is great, and big. Uni pasta was too salty.
This place is amazing... From the vibes/atmosphere to the amazing food... I would come back again and again..
