Atrium Dumbo Ratings and Reviews
Walked over from one hotel Brooklyn bridge for a quick brunch. We were greeted and seated quickly, friendly service, great food, sweet ambiance. Loved the playlist, good vibes. I had the biscuits to share with butter and jam. They were super tasty. Loved the chicken and waffles with bacon, eggs florentine with crab, and ham and gruyere omelet. Also had a glass of the dry resiling which was very good as well. Would definitely come back if in the area.
Good food and atmosphere. We were a bit early for our reservation but were seated right away. Duck egg appetizer was surprisingly good. Snapper was perfectly cooked and cauliflower side was quite tasty. My wife’s pasta entree was also excellent.
My only complaint was that the beer menu was a bit limited.
Visiting NYC from California and went to Atrium Dumbo on a recommendation from a friend. Enjoyed superb cheese/charcuterie plate. Seafood platter was excellent too. I was eyeballing the chicken for two w truffle pot pie at the table next to us. Looked amazing! Was pleasantly surprised to be assisted by a somm, who did a great job recommending a dinomite Bordeaux.
Go early and stroll along the pier under the Brooklyn Bridge and take in the incredible view...gorgeous at night!
Two friends and I went for Sunday brunch. The food and service were quite good, and although it's DUMBO hot-spot we were there a little later in the day so much of the chaos that generally accompanies Sunday brunch in DUMBO, the Sex in the City crowd, day trippers, and people with lots of kids in strollers, had mostly packed up and gone. The place is oddly laid out with much of the seating upstairs in a mezzanine level which I could see being kind of uncomfortable if crowded. Overall we have a lovely and comfortable meal which I attribute to the time of day.
We absolutely loved our evening at Atrium Dumbo! I was with a group of four other friends from out of state. The restaurant was recommended by a friend. All the food was top-notch delicious and presented beautifully. The service was both friendly and impeccable! We also enjoyed the short walk to the riverfront and amazing views of Manhattan after dinner. I highly recommend Atrium Dumbo for any occasion!
We had reservations during a weekend brunch and was seated almost immediately. The food was amazing, the fried chicken in the fried chicken and waffles dish was so moist and tender. The steak (asked for med. rare) as cooked to perfection. The host Paul was nice enough to offer me drinks on the house for my birthday. The place is very chic and and open. I would definitely go back here!
cv Friendly staff, great wine list, attentive wine steward. Food is delicious although pricey which is not a problem however I expected a larger portion of duck ( two strips of breast) for the price of the entree. I would definitely return and use more discretion when ordering.
This is a great place to take people who are visiting from out of town - I came with a group of 4. The ambiance is lovely and the location is great. The service however was slow and all but one person's entree was disappointing (too salty sauce on the red snapper, mushy pasta) but the tuna tartar was excellent. Service in the past has been much better, so I was a little embarrassed that I raved about the restaurant's amazing food and staff.
The food was delicious, kind of small servings and we had to ask if our food would ever come twice. Same with drinks. We'd ask for a refill and it would take 10 minutes before they came back. Also, halfway through our time, since the food was taking so long, we asked for bread. It came at the end of our meal (20 minutes later) because they had to bake it. What?
Water guy was great and totally on top of it.
We were put off by the smell of fish and grease right when we walked in but had a reservation and were too hungry and tired to look for another place. I thought the smell would diminish when we were seated upstairs but it permeated the entire restaurant. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable. The salads we had were very enjoyable but rather small portions. The waitress was excellent and the maitre d' was gracious. I think this place is better for younger people.
My girlfriend and I came for date night and everything was amazing - the food, the service, the vibe and the people. Our server, Brant was amazing and had great suggestions and was very personable. I felt like he was genuinely a great guy. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the duck egg and beef tartare for starters and the Lamb and Duck for entrees. Not one complaint about this place. Also, the fellow who served the wine was very knowledgeable and super nice. We plan to come back for brunch!
Brunch at Atrium was great! My guy and I were in town for the Afropunk Fest in Brooklyn and needed to grab a bite to eat before heading to the park. The food was delicious and well prepared. Ingredients were fresh and neatly portioned. Thanks for your hospitality, we will surely stop by again on our next visit.
