What Insiders Are Saying
A modern bi-level restaurant in DUMBO.
Beautiful location with great views of the bridge.
We sat outside while enjoying the amazing view and the great wine list.
They had frozen drinks and we got to try the Froze which was spot on, not too sweet and a great way to cool down on such a hot day.
I ordered the melon salad to start followed by the soft shell crab sandwich.
The salad was super refreshing and interesting, it had grilled and raw cucumber as well as melon dressed with champagne vinaigrette and mint leaves and basil oil.
The soft shell was crunchy and juicy, and it went super well with the old bay mayo and the tomato jam.
Overall it was a great experience and would definitively be back, best lunch spot in this area can’t wait to come and try the dinner menu.
The food was incredible! We started with the seafood platter that the chef came and topped with liquid nitrogen himself and it was filled with fresh seafood from Montauk. The best looking seafood platter I have ever had. They had a great selection of Champagne at good prices so we enjoyed a bottle with it. After that we shared the roasted chicken for 2 which came with a delicious truffle pot pie and finished with the smoothest liquid nitrogen spun ice cream! What an expreience! We can't wait to come back!
Loved my meal and time here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wine selection was amazing, one of the owners is a Master Sommelier which explains that. I watched on in amazement as the chef came out to a table to serve what looked like a seafood tower and proceeded to pour liquid nitrogen on top the visual was stunning.
They stopped using Open Table for reservations so got there in freezing weather and was told it was rented for a private party and we had to leave. I showed the confirmation from Open Table and they said sorry, they hadn’t gotten around to removing from that website. Very annoying.
Everything here is usually do amazing but last few visits were disappointing. Food is always good but service painfully slow making it not worth it.
Really enjoyable restaurant to catch up with friends. The location and ambiance is really great. The food was not bad but it was disappointing when considering the price. None of us were very impressed with our meals. Overall we had a great time.
We go here often and like it very much. Very good food and great staff. Close to St Ann’s warehouse theater!!
really nice ambiance and friendly staff. Great location to stop into during a Sunday stroll. Seated immediately. My meal was great (leek soup and salmon crustini). The only thing keeping this from being an all-five star review is that my friends complained that their steak was chewy and inedible (and service a little slow). No need to complain about service as we had no time constraints and were enjoying our wine and mimosas. Would definitely return
Went for brunch, food portions were teeny for the $, we all agreed we were still a bit hungry and expecting more food on our plates. The french toast was just 3 small pieces and the Avocado toast only had one little poached egg on top, that seemed especially stingy. Our server had the quietest voice it was so hard to hear/understand him half the time, his nails were also really long and super scraggly beard which was gross. Servers should be well kept with good hygiene they are handling food and dealing with customers all day.
Very nice ambiance and the food was also very good. We went on a slow Friday so it was not packed at all. Definitely a place a I will go back to!
The staff was very pleasant.
It is also in a great location.
The waitress was informative and what she didn't know she found out quickly. All staff was very friendly and food was great!
Service was slow. At one point, we thought they had forgotten about us. But when the food finally came, it was pretty good. It's a little overpriced for what it was, but it was good. Also, we had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes.
We booked for 9,30 p.m.but when we arrived they told us it was late...
This restaurant was a first for me. My friend and I went their last Saturday for brunch. Prompt seating - I made reservations. It wasn’t noisy and the music was not too loud. I had the steak and eggs, in which the steak was seasoned well. My friend had chicken and waffles. I tasted her chicken and it wasn’t crispy, a little on the soggy side. Also, the bacon was too crispy. It was a little overpriced, but for the location of the restaurant, I understand why - if you are a romantic looking for brownie points, here will be the place to go.. Brooklyn bridge , river is nearby as well as Jane’s Carousel. I will go here again ...
Really cool little spot in a perfect location to take the Brooklyn tourist photos you see on countless Instagram feeds. The vegetation walls that are catching on are really cool and atrium does there very well. The ambiance is great and the food is a solid 4.5. They also don’t gouge you on pricing like they could due to location. I would recommend for lunch or brunch and a quick walk to the “Manhattan bridge” pic and then shoot over to the carousel for the iconic “look at New York behind me” shot.
Great food and atmosphere, will definitely be be back
We love coming to Atrium for brunch. The food and atmosphere are just incredible.
Never disappointed! Beautifully crafted food, great wine list, very mindful but not intrusive service, all in a casual setting.
Great omelette and biscuits. The menu is not extensive, nor will they make any substitutions on weekends, but the food is really good and a good value.
LOVED the atmosphere! Perfect for girls night
Great customer service!
Love the quality of the food
I am going to reserve my opinion of this restaurant for my next visit. I will give this restaurant one more chance.
Best poached eggs I ever had
nice place, but food is 'just alright'. nothing special. Bisquits were super salt.... omelet kinda wet and it was impossible to add topings to the omelet... even when you offer to pay for it.
Needed to make a reservation for lunch at 2:30pm on Saturday - Open Table works well. Our seat was nice on the second floor near the railing so we could see the cooks working.
We were offered the brunch menu. The menu is limited to one page. The mushroom soup was really delicious. The Pain Perdu and the roast potatoes were OK. They had a nice range of about 8 red wines by the glass. We would definitely go back.
Great food and service. Took party of 7 people including one infant and staff were friendly, knowledgable and attentive. We had a great time and would recommend this restaurant if you are in the Dumbo area.
Excellent as always - a great restaurant experience with an outstanding curated wine selection. The new menu takes it up another notch.
Nice place - very good food.
It was good
The place is really nice! We booked for a brunch and the food was delicious!
Some unusual (and quite good) menu choices. Nice range from burgers and pasta all the way up. Attentive service and Maitre D. Decor is a bit downscale but the planted wall is memorable and quirky.
The soup of the day, butternut squash with coconut milk base, was delicious. The ambience and professionalism of the staff was great.
Great location, lovely and attentive Maitre D and waitress but food not at all worth what you're charging.
My husband and I go out often and we are in the food business. I would recommend to everyone
Love the location, atmosphere and the decor. Was exactly what we wanted for a special Night out. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the surroundings. Manhattans were very good. Large wine list but not nearly Enough good wines under $100. Spent $85 on an ok Italian. Had the 6 smallest oysters we have ever seen. Montauk apparently. They were the size of quarters and quite bland. Served with lemon and vinegar only. NY strip Steak was tough and fatty. Pork loin consisted of 3 pieces the size of Silver dollars. Completely underwhelming and so tiny! Saving grace were the donuts for dessert. Just amazing. Come for a drink and the donuts and skip the food ... this place is popular so likely won’t get better before it gets worse.
The ingredients are great, the Food is mediocre at best. They accommodated us by saying...” dessert is on the house” only to find that after I left they clearly charged my card a a second time for exactly the amount of the dessert plus tax. Sure, Amex declined the charge with one call, but really!!
A DUMBO gem. Friendly staff. Great, consistent food. Desserts to die for. And the freshly baked bread..
Went for brunch because we were staying in the area. Way overpriced for the quality of food. The best thing we had was the bacon, biscuit and Vermont butter. The Florentine Benedict was average to below average, the crab meat I paid extra for was minimal and not fresh tasting. Definitely needed extra hollandaise and seasoning. The chicken and waffles were also average, they use chicken thighs and we had to ask for syrup. The blood orange mimosa was too sour. Had to order extra orange juice
