Atria's - Peters Township Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed a special Valentine's Day dinner here. The special menu was perfect for the evening.
We were seated immediately and we never felt rushed during our entire experience...from champagne toast to shared appetizer to soup to Surf and Turf meal to coffee and shared chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful!!!
Atria's has always been one of our favorite places for good food and service, and on this occasion they did not disappoint. My wife had the Miso Salmon and I had the Pork Medallions Gorgonzola (one of my favorites). Both were excellent. No shortcuts were evident even with the crowd expected on Valentine's Day.
The hostess took people to seat them before us, just because they complained about the wait. We were patiently waiting and rewarded unjustly for it.
The restaurant was running a special on 1/2 price wine bottles if it was a wine that could be ordered by the glass. First the manger said our wine didn't qualify but he would give it to us. I showed him the email from Atria's and he said it was confusing.
The waitress was wonderful and save an evening out. The food was very good.
Had reservations but it was very busy and we got seated at a high top table in the bar area. Took a half hour to get our drinks and almost an hour to get our appetizer. Food was ok when we finally did get it but my water glass sat empy for 20 minutes before someone came to fill it. Bread was never offered to us and salad and soup are extra and not included in meal. Way too noisy too with so many people talking. Not relaxing at all.
Steve was our server and he was very efficient and nice even though he seemed to be very busy. A party in the separate room was a bit loud with some screaming/crying little ones so it was a bit nosier than usual. Overall a very nice experience for my Mom's birthday. Thank you!
Our evening did not start out well since we had a reservation but ended up waiting almost 40 minutes to be seated. To be fair both our server and the manager did apologize for the excessive delay. They also gave both my wife and I a free dessert. The meal was excellent and our server did provide very good service. I believe they were just severely overbooked and almost everyone who made a reservation actually showed up. We will go back but probably not during “normal “ dinner time.
I've been to Atria's often over the years but have seen myself visiting less and less of late. The menu continues to get smaller and smaller. I was hoping to enjoy an entree from their Winter Menu on 1/6 but was told that they hadn't begun offering the Winter Menu to check back in a few weeks. Until Atria's receives word that winter begins in December I won't be back.
Have eaten dinner here twice, once at a pre-arranged event and another for a family celebration. The staff is very personable and attentive. During our most recent visit (New Year's Day) several menu items were not available, but staff was apologetic and offered many great alternatives. Food is a good value, but drinks are over-priced.
This was our first trip to Atria’s, our waitress was hands down amazing! She was very upbeat and everything came out at good timing! The food was beyond wonderful!
However our greeting upon arrival, was not as wonderful. It was a date night for my husband and I. Upon walking in were were greeted by a grumpy hostess who wanted us to sit at a high top at the bar. We wanted to have a nice dinner and sit in the dining area and she seemed put off by that. It was 8pm, we had a reservation, at that point I double checked the closing time to make sure we weren’t near closing time. They closed at 11pm.
After agreeing to seat us in the dining area she gruffly told us to hang our coats on the coat rack before we would sit. Umm, okay then. We did as we were told.. 😳.
Overall I wouldn’t let a grumpy hostess ruin our evening out, because everything else was wonderful.
Our dinners were delicious. However, our server advised us that the restaurant was out of filet and several other entrees listed on the menu. This was at 3:30 in the afternoon. Apparently a very large party that preceded us, and two other large groups expected later, limited our choices.
The environment was warm, friendly, clean and nicely decorated. When we were seated, the table had no place settings. Delicious bread & butter was delivered to the table but difficult to eat without utensils. My chopped salad was brought to the table (very good ... loved the dressing) but took several minutes to get the attention of the waiter to get eating utensils. Food was good (breaded fish sandwich) with a more than adequate portion.
A lovely lunch with friends. We all had soup and salad so that, of course, left room for dessert!
The butternut squash soup was very good and another guest said the same of the crab bisque. The carrot cake is huge and plenty for two.
Jeff is an excellent server and worked around and with us as we talked for a long time at our table. I usually request his table, if possible.
We will return again.
