Atria's - Peters Township
Our reservation was for 7:30 and we arrived about 7:20. Despite open tables the hostess said she had to wait until 7:30 to seat us to give the kitchen some breathing room. We were seated and it took some time for our server to greet us. We ordered drinks (non-alcoholic) and that took 10-15 minutes to arrive. It seemed our one server was responsible for half the room! The food was fine-the sherried crab bisque and crab cakes were excellent as always, the server was very pleasant and accommodating although very harried, and the sound level was extremely loud. We had to practically shout to be heard across the table (party of 3) . We did not have dessert but it was after 9:00 before we received our bill. And by 8:30 most of the tables were empty.
I have enjoyed many meals at this location in the past. I have not been there in a few years. I don't know if they were short-staffed or if this is typical, but I don't think I will return.
Menu was limited however had something for everyone to select from. The service was wonderful our waiter was attentive and present. One of my favorite places for special dinners
Great place to join others, eat, drink and be merry - all puns aside
We arrived 15 minutes early but we were not seated until 15 minutes past reservation time and two inquiries later. Then no one waited on us for another 10 minutes until we stopped a busboy and asked if anyone was waiting on our table. The Manager came to table and apologized and comped us our drinks. Our Waitress was not suppose to be waiting our table but did so and was attentive. We enjoy this restaurant so we hope this is a one time flub.
The noise level was very high, as it was Easter . The ham was not tender. The ribs and roast beef were good. I miss the delicious bread you used to have.
Restaurant seemed to be understaffed for Easter Sunday. Had a reservation for 10;45...arrived a bit early and were largely ignored for over 10 minutes. We were served by the manager on duty. Would rate this at 5 on a scale of 10.
Menu states sunday brunch option, but that was not the case when we arrived for our reservation we made specifically to try the brunch menu
Always enjoy weekday happy hour at Atria's. Excellent service from everyone.
Great salmon and lent specials they are great about getting kids food out quickly and servers are so helpful and friendly !
I love Atria's Turkey Club Sandwich. I opt out of the bacon. I also substitute the mayanaise with mustard. I then add broccoli for a healthy vegetable option. The coffee is always great..just like the entire wait staff!
We frequent this restaurant often and it never disappoints. Service is excellent even when it's really busy with owner jumping in and helping out if needed. Food is very good to excellent and good value for the cost. Ambiance is classy and nice.
Definitely will continue to visit and bring friends here.
We so enjoyed our dinner Friday night. The place was busy, lots of good interaction between the tables. Food was delicious!
Service was friendly and quick. I could not complain about anything, which is unusual for me! LOL
We are definitely going back, over and over again, soon!
Service and management was rude at this location no value for food amount.
Great place to spend a Friday evening, love the happy hour specials! Had a great time and Jeff was superb!
Always can count on having a good meal and good service. Thursday night is martini night, Atria's makes awesome martini's.
Atria's in Peters Township is always a treat. The food is well prepared and generous in portion. The wait staff is courteous and hospitable. I look forward to my next visit.
Angel took great care of us. We made a reservation on short notice, and they accommodated us. Great food and service. Definitely will come back.
We have eaten at Atria's now for years. The wedding soup can't be beat but this time it was definitely a smaller amount! What really disappointed me was that they no longer have the Miso salmon on the menu. It was my reason for choosing to go there! They replaced it with two new offerings that were less than exciting and of one which was not as healthy. Who adds bacon to salmon?! The simple version that I chose was just bland. We did have an excellent server (Lisa) Dessert menu was also lacking--4 choices only. Not happy with the changes.
Will not be going back any time soon. Sorry.
Atria’s never disappoints. We went for the fish and chips and it was delicious! The fish was crisp and tasty, the fries were real and the cole slaw was very tasty. We asked for malt vinegar but were also given tarter and chili sauces. We also had the clam chowder and it was one of the best we have had.
Atria’s happy hour is a great way to end a Friday with friends! Our server Jeff was absolutely outstanding!
We have been coming to the Peters Township location for many years and are never disappointed. We were surprised at how busy it was for a Thursday night so others must also enjoy the place as much as we do. Barry and Joyce Deems, Upper St Clair, PA
Great sirloin steak salad and luscious crab cake with real French fries. Chris was an attentive waiter whose service was prompt and attentive.
For many years I have given my Mother gift cards to Atrias for Christmas, her birthday and mother's day.
I knew she enjoyed Atria's immensely and liked treating other family members. My wife and I needed a place to have dinner out and decided on Atria's. I haven't been there for years. I must tell you that unlike many other places, Atria's standards have not changed. I was reminded why Mom was always so happy when we gave her the gift cards. Our dinners were excellent. The service was tremendous. The food came quick and perfectly prepared. We get out alot, and to very nice eating establishments. It is not going to take me years to go back again. Home run all around.
We had a very nice dinner and the desert was wonderful.
Delicious hot food! Loved the Crab Cakes. Chopped salad with homemade dressing was great! My husband had the Fra Diablo and loved it. Great staff!
Always excellent service, Staff remembers me and always treats me very well.
Was good food and service but something wasn't the same. I would say I think there is a different chef.
We enjoyed our meals and especially the desserts. Our waiter,Jeff, was fantastic!
Normally it is good, it was Valentine’s Day and we had reservations, but they were out of EVERY single special. They did not seem prepared for a busy night. So I ordered what I normally order. My chicken piccata had very few capers and needed way more sauce. My hounand liked his marsala. My soup though delicious, had 3 pieces of crab shell in it. My husbands had some ad well. I was very disappointed this time, really had my heart set on the prime rib. I won’t come back on a holiday, I learned my lesson.
This was our second visit in the last two months, and the food was comped both times because of the wait time. This used to be a good restaurant, and something has gone horribly wrong recently with food prep and management.
Had the Chicken parmesan and Fra Diablo with Pot Roast nachos. All excellent.
We have been customers for many years but tonight was a letdown. Hostess wasn’t friendly at all when we checked in with reservation. Crab cakes were ok, prices raised again. The side is now supposed to be roasted broccoli however there was nothing roasted about it. Broccoli was steamed to death and there was some sort of risotto or other starchy item on some of it. For the price you need to be spot on. The bread is now just plain slices of room temperature Italian, not the warm crusty loaf of before.
We absolutely love this Atria’s - it’s our favorite location by far. Our most recent experience wasn’t that great but maybe it was just a busy night. Service was extremely slow and the food took awhile to come out. It won’t keep us from coming back though!
Great food, my waiter (slick blonde hair) was the nicest guy ever. I will for sure be back!
The food wasn’t hot but the service was excellent.
The Italian classics dishes currently being offered are excellent. Our caesar salad, housemade chips, tomato vodka pasta, and spaghetti and meatballs were delicious and the portions satisfactory. Service was a letdown tonight, a rarity. Apparently none of our preferred servers was available where we were seated. Our entrees took an unusually long length of time to be delivered. Most Atria's servers would keep tabs on us and tell us where we stood under these circumstances. We had not a word from our server nor any regret over the length of time we waited. Water was not conscientiously refilled. Quality checks were performed by the server as she was on the run. We regret that the owner whom we know and love chatting with was too busy to greet us.
Entered restaurant and was only there for a minute near the bar area when the hostess asked if I needed help. I responded no and said that I was waiting for the two people at the bar to pay their check since they were just called to their table. She stated that those seats were already accounted for and that I couldn't sit there. I said I didn't know that you "reserved" seats at the bar and she said well they are and then said there's a seat further down and to take that one. Since I needed two seats that wasn't a viable option. She was beyond rude in her tone and response. We have been coming here for years and not once in that time was I ever told that seats were reserved at the bar. It's first come, first serve. We did have reservations for a table so we stayed. Once the rest of our party arrived we went to the hostess stand. Again, the same hostess greeted us and I told her that we had reservations. She was not friendly in the least. As we were standing there waiting for her to seat us the phone rang twice for reservations. Instead of her having someone else take the call or seat us she made us stand there until she was done. Again, she is the rudest person with absolutely no personality or people skills. Got seated and the server came over immediately to take our drink orders. Then it all went down hill. Waited 15 minutes for drinks from the bar. The server kept apologizing for the wait. In the meantime she took our dinner orders. Our soup and salads came out in a timely manner. But we had to wait almost one hour for our dinners to arrive. Again, the server was apologizing for the wait. None of this was her fault. She tried to make everything good but this was all beyond her control. And the hostess should be reported for her absolute rudeness. I guess we aren't one her "special" customers since we noticed that she does have her favorites and doesn't hide the fact. So unacceptable.
Always great food and service. Miss the old bread :)
Good food, varied selection of food and drinks. Clean and good service. Pleasant ambiance, low noise- happy hour and thurs martini specials
We enjoyed our evening but the reason we made reservations with Open Table was so we wouldn't have to wait. My husband uses a walker and waiting in a crowded lobby area is awkward. We had to wait 20-25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. It seemed as though the fact that we had used Open Table wasnt really being acknowledged. At one point they called our name,we answered and the hostess proceeded to lead another couple to a table. Perhaps they were just having a rough evening. The rest of the evening was very nice.
