Atria's - Peters Township
Atria’s has missed the mark 2 times in a row now. This used to be somewhere we could go to get a really good meal. Very disappointed with our last visit. My salad was very wet and sloppy and the grilled chicken was really small. Not worth $15.
This was as close to a perfect meal as one can get! The delicious creamy chicken marsala dish which my wife and I love, and which Atria's provided at our wedding, has returned to the menu for a brief period of time. It is served over a bed of pasta with mushrooms, and it was outstanding. Atria's citrus butter adds a great deal to fresh bread. The fried zucchini appetizer is pricey at $11, but was excellent. My wife enjoyed her Atria's side salad, $5. Service from Stephanie and a visit with owner Linda make any meal extraordinary: No wonder we are regulars!
I had the Turkey Club with Steamed Asparagus tonight. SUPER sandwich!
The Scallop dinner special this evening was delicious
Our server was great. Very personable and professional. The food is always delicious!
It was early Hew Years eve, so every table was taken and it was noisy, but tolerable. Seating was prompt and servive by Jeff was excelient. Food quality, another factor. We both had the "special" prime rib. Unfortunalely, it was sinewy, tough to cut and chew. I also had scollops, which were excellent.
My wife and I have been going to Atria's for the past ten years, and we have never had a disappointing experience. Until New Year's Eve. The main problem was that our food arrived lukewarm (steak, salmon) or cold (potatoes, vegetables). The wait staff was busy, so maybe our food was left sitting for awhile before being brought out. I had two glasses of wine during the evening; the first was a 6-ounce pour, but the second was a four-ounce pour, at best. I took a picture of the wine and sent it to a relative who has tended bar for many years; he agreed that it was a four-ounce pour. Two ounces is not a big issue, except that I felt cheated by the bartender (not by our waiter, Jacob). My wife and I will likely return to Atria's, but it will no longer be our first choice on where to dine and we can no longer say that we've never had a disappointing experience at Atria's.
The food and service were outstanding as always. This is the second New Year's Eve meal we have enjoyed at Atria's.
On New Year's Eve, the restaurant was quite busy so our reservation was necessary . Quick seating and our server, Jeff, had beverages on the table within 5 or 6 minutes. The Chicken Maderia was very good and the chicken pot pie was plentiful and excellent. Our beverages were refilled quickly and we enjoyed dining at Atria's once again.
We went there to celebrate my birthday. We have been there before and really enjoyed it. This time our meals were delicious. I had chicken Madera -- the portion was really large and I brought home a doggy bag. I'll enjoy the rest of it tonight again.
We went out of our way to go to this location because the Mt. Lebanon site is closer to us
I had prime rib, it was done just right and it was so good
My husband had a blue cheeseburger that he wants to go back and get it again
Our meal was great and our waitress was friendly and efficient.
I would tell them not to get the Reuben. That is the reason for poor rating. The meat was tough. It took 45-50 minutes to get the original order. So when asked if I wanted something else I didn’t want to wait that long.
Cowboy John's service was outstanding! We had a great night and he made it special.
My husband and I had a wonderful Christmas Eve meal at Atria’ s. It was a little noisy as there were a lot of large groups celebrating Christmas as well, but not so aloud that we couldn’t ha e a conversation. Our meals were delicious (crab cakes with filet mignonette and the prime rib dinner) and portions were big (I took home half of my meal). Service was fast for how busy they were so overall great experience.
As a l-o-n-g time Atria's consumer each year for my birthday, I look forward to this meal year over year. Generally, great food and amazing service! However, for the last few times we have been here (birthday and beyond), service seemed to slip. Honestly, we needed to beg for water and the food was just so-so. Sure, it was crowded, but what (or breaks) a restaurant is it's ability to stay consistent with service and quality. I am sad to say that I'll be looking forward to a new restaurant in the south hills.
I am a returning customer and did make reservations for 4 at 6 pm two days prior to the date. When we arrived, the host was unsure where to place us. They were expecting two large parties but the tables were not set up for such. We were seated at a larger table near the front and it was drafty when the front door opened. We did all move to a booth. The new remodeling was somewhat stark. Dinner was good and the service was very good.
I really enjoy the clean, healthy choices that are offered with a simple request to the kitchen. They ALWAYS come through.
Good filet mignon
Took a while to get waited on
Could not get a happy hour drink because we were not at bar ... terrible rule !!! What??? Soup portion was way too small for $4.50
Did not refil drinks until we were paying g bill
Enjoyed the newly restored dining room. Much lighter and brighter, looking forward to our next visit in the new bar.
The new renovation in Peters Township has taken away the character and charm that this place used to have. The ambiance is "cold", plain and unremarkable. The local mall food court has almost as much character. Food is average in Peters Township location. Totally the opposite of their Mt. Lebanon location (which is great).
Enjoyed a fantastic pasta and chicken dish this afternoon.
Usually a great restaurant, but on this particular visit the day after a major holiday my dinner was served at room temperature and the carrots were not fully cooked.
Thanksgiving 2019 - We arrived early for a 6:15 reservation and were told that seating was running a little behind. Having spent several Thanksgivings here we were not surprised and we were seated about ten minutes after our reserved time.
Then it was many minutes before a server said hello and kept on going. Other tables seated at the same time had water glasses and bread baskets but not us. Eventually the server returned, took our orders and said she would return with water. We also ordered a bottle of wine. Many minutes later, she returned to tell us that the crab bisque was all gone and we ordered salad instead. Eventually she returned with water and said the salads were coming. No mention of the wine. She brought the salads, which were watery, and the rolls which were cold as though they had been refrigerated. No wine and no mention of it from the server. A few minutes later, while we were still eating salad, the main courses arrived which made for a very crowded table. The main course was just OK, with my sweet potatoes under cooked, and not much gravy. No wine.
We had deferred our dessert orders. When the server came to remove our plates and box up the left overs, she did not ask about dessert. A few minutes later she plopped the to go bags on our table and kept on going. She came back and asked about coffee and if we wanted our desserts to go. We said no and she took off without taking our orders. When she came back for the orders we asked for them to go. Eventually we got our desserts, our bill without wine listed, paid and left. For the first time in a long time I left a less than 10% tip.
Over the years Atria’s has been one of our go to restaurants but it is unlikely that we will return.
Amazing Thanksgiving Dinner. Great food and waiter Jeff was phenomenal.
Food was not real hot
We dined on Thanksgiving a very busy time for Atria's! The food, service was very good considering the holiday. Atria's is our favorite restaurant and will return in the future.
The dinner rolls we received resembled cold rocks, that said, I’d go again for the Thanksgiving dinner simply to enjoy NOT having to cook myself. Food was lukewarm but tasty - nothing some hot gravy dished on top couldn’t cure.
Food was good but was warm at best . Crab bisque was lukewarm. Turkey and sweet potatoes lukewarm at best.
Our server was wonderful. The woman that seated us asked where we were going. We told her to the theater and on the way out she remembered and told us to enjoy. I always enjoy dining here
The renovation looks nice! We had to wait to check in. Employee at bar became hostess. We had to wait to get greeted & drink order. Another table left because waited too long. Food was scrumptious but bread sub par.
The Greek Chicken Salad was great this this evening.
Wait staff, new decor, and lunch were all great!
Had the special Salmon this evening. It was "FANTASTIC!"
Great Turkey Club Sandwich.
Food and service is consistently good.
The Spicy Fra Diablo was really good. Just the right amount of KICK and a HUGE portion too.
Extremely poor service from waiter which is very unusual at this restaurant.
I had a fantastic Cedar Plank Salmon this evening. Food, service and the new redo of the restaurant made it a perfect meal. But, then again, that's been the norm at Atria's restaurant in McMurray, PA for me.
