Atria's - Mt. Lebanon Ratings and Reviews
Trevor did a great job as our server. He went out of his way to give us the experience that we were looking for. The steak was more medium rare than medium, but still great. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was very tasty, as were the baked potato and salad. My wife's birthday dinner experience was typical for Atria's; very nice. Well done.
It took nearly an hour before we got our food. It was not too busy. When the food arrived it was sub par. Our server was good and communicated with us regarding the kitchen delay. They were out of a lot of food. My steak was undercooked and he shrimp was cold.
I should have gotten there for the October Fest menu. Was looking for at least one or more near traditional German dishes.
HOWEVER, I went with the "signature" half rack of ribs. OUTSTANDING!!! Perfect portion. Also, the Marsala was with bowtie pasta was very tasty as well.
Then we got the bill and with two of their special martinis, I was pleasantly surprised at how little it was.
I was highly disappointed with our service and location of our seat. In the past I always sat upstairs and the value of the service, ambiance and quality of food paralleled with the price of the food, it was enjoyable. However, when I returned with three other friends over Thanksgiving weekend, we needed to sit on the first floor which was considered handicap-cap accessible. They sat us close to the bar. It was not a pleasant atmosphere and it was a bar-like setting. It was impossible to hear and we had to request to see our server several times. The person was not attentive. The food was dry and needed more dressing. The seating is worn out and it felt like we were eating with our chins on the table. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. It’s a shame the experience was not good at all. If you need first floor seating, beware you’ll be in the bar or in close proximity of it, especially if you don’t have the back banquette room reserved. It’s too LOUD!
We have been a good customer of Atria's... the salads were swimming in dressing... pasta dish was swimming in sauce and extremely salty...grilled steak salad had way to much dressing and the steak was about 2 ounces...were not that picky but
The quality of food was below where it should be. ... won't be back anytime soon.
The meal I ordered - Pork Filet Gorgonzola - was a disgrace. For $16.99 all I got were 3 puny pieces of scallops, 3 pieces of shrimp and a couple of pieces of bacon on top of linguine. You should be ashamed of yourselves to charge that kind of money for such a puny meal. On the other hand my waitress provided excellent service. And your management was kind enough to take $5.00 off the cost of my meal when I complained about it.
We eat here several times a year and generally like the experience and food. This time was particularly disappointing. The filet was overlooked. And other food was not hot. The food took a long time to come even though it was not that busy. It was as if the food sat under the heat lamp awaiting the waitress to deliver. We will give it one more try before abandoning.
Unfortunately having a reservation for 7:30 did not a help us to get a seat at a table at 7:30. The restaurant was very busy due to a homecoming dance which we understood however we arrived at 20 after 7 were not seated until 752 and no one came to even greet us at the table until well after 8. When the rest of the section cleared out we asked our waitress to change the channel of the TV which she wholeheartedly agree to do and never did.... the food was not exceptional the overall service in my estimation was not good. We probably will not go back to Atria's again.
Atria's has always been a favorite of ours. The food is consistently good and the staff is always engaging. It is a great choice when you just want to relax and eat a well prepared meal. My only complaint is that on this occasion we had a 7:00 reservation, but didn't get seated until 8:00.
A disaster. Although our dining room was half empty, we waited 15 minutes to see a server. We asked for water 5 times over an hour until it was finally brought to the table. Similar issues of significant delay in getting the drinks that we ordered. Waitress forgot to bring the salads. Two of our meals were delivered quickly, it took another 45 minutes to have the other two meals brought to the table. Had to repeatedly ask for bread. Food was delicious when it finally came. Significant service issues. The manager was wonderful and took care of the f food was delicious when it finally came. Significant service issues. The manager was wonderful and took care of the bill.
First time user of Open Table and very user friendly! The reservation was made for two however my niece was a last minute addition. No problem. We ordered drinks while waiting for our guest. After our guest arrived, we started talking so I ordered a delicious appetizer! Once we were ready to order the server came back over and took our orders. The chicken Marsala, Blue cheese burger, cole slaw, and chicken salad were wonderful. Unfortunately no room for desert. Definitely next visit!
I really wasn't impressed. I wanted to like Atria's, but the food and service were mediocre. My wife ordered their salmon dinner and the rice looked and tasted like a rice mix in a box that you can buy at the grocery store. The salmon was OK, but nothing to write home about. My food (burger) was very greasy and was the first time I didn't finish a hamburger from a restaurant. The atmosphere is great, but the food left me wanting.
