Atria's - Mt. Lebanon
For over half a century, people have made Atria's their very own Pittsburgh neighborhood restaurant. Come and see what makes us different!
We've eaten at this Atria's many times and always have a good meal and good service, but there was definitely something wrong with the cooling system this trip. It seemed to feel warmer on the first floor than it did outside. I assume that it was a one time problem they were having and it should be fixed. Otherwise, food and service was wonderful as always!
Oktoberfest! Our favorite time at Atrias. Food, service, and value is always excellent.
The Oktoberfest menu is outstanding....wish they had those menu items all year long!
Thanks for the great review. We're glad you love our Oktoberfest menu. It's our favorite menu of the year! Hope to see you again soon.
We have given Atrias a perfect score before and enjoy dining here. This time was awful.
1) our food took over an hour to be served
2) they messed up my child’s order and took away all of his food (luckily someone must have told our server that was a really bad idea and she brought back fries)
3) we did not get all of the food we ordered
4) I spoke with the manager and said how disappointed I was and told my dad how great the place was before we came. He said he’d talk to my parents and make it right. I had to leave since my young son was way past his bedtime with no food because our food took 75 minutes to be served. The manager never talked to my parents.
5) I had all of our dinners in my hand (except for my sons) and I asked the hostess (not Anna) for a bag. She was very snippy and said my waitress would be back with my sons dinner. I said thank you but may I please have a sack for my current food and she’s like she’ll bring one. Our waitress finally came with my sons food and no bags. Luckily a nice waiter got me a bag and helped me put all of our dinner in it.
Love this local favorite and am never disappointed. Expect to become a regular - why not, everybody else is?
Thanks for the great feedback. We love that you have made us a regular spot for you and can't wait to see you again!
Great dinner with my wife and young son. Loved the updated seasonal menu. Food was fresh and flavorful. Sever was attentive and provided great service.
Thanks for the great feedback. We are excited for our seasonal menus especially our Oktoberfest menu right now. We will share your comments with the staff and hope to see you soon.
I plan to become more of a regular here. The management of this restaurant is among the best- present and attentive to what is happening. I enjoy the menu - almost all of what I have ordered (no one is perfect) and the general hospitality. Community is fortunate in having such a "go to" place
Thanks for the great review. We appreciate your feedback and we will pass on your kind words to the rest of the staff. Next time you visit please let us know so we can thank you personally.
My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. I’m enrolled in their awards program and they offered buy one dinner and get an equal or lesser valued dinner for free. Getting two crab cake dinners for $25 was great and they were delicious.
Food was delish - love that pot roast. The waiter was great - she was a ball of energy and was running her butt off the whole time we were there.
Food was very good, service was on par, but could use a little sprucing up.
I haven't been to Atria's in years but always loved their food and atmosphere. We were very disappointed on this return trip. The Ahi tuna had an odd, fishy flavor, almost like it was old and the menu was very limited overall. The server was not at all in tune with the experience. We told her we were in no hurry, yet the entree's came before we were half done with the appetizer, had to ask for more water, etc. Nice enough, but she seemed very inexperienced. It was not the fine experience were remembered in the past.
Great food and atmosphere
A reservation is almost a must here. Be sure to request special accommodations if you need them. I did, but they did not receive the info. However, they were able to seat us where we wanted in a short time frame. Food was very nice, service a bit slow. We do frequent this restaurant from time to time.
Atria's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I go there many times a year. I also knew the original Atrias people back in the 70's.
Excellent all around. Looks are deceiving from the outside so don’t miss it!!!
Service was very good and attentive. Food was very good and portion size was just right.
I won’t be recommending this Atria’s to anyone any longer. We had reservations for two for 5:30 and had requested a booth. We were on time and had our dinner plus dessert and coffee.
When we arrived, out of 8 possible seating arrangements only one other was taken. During the course of our meal those seats filled up as did the high tops and some bar stools. People left and the seats were not filled. It was not a busy night. Around 8:20 we were asked to leave - not just our booth as there was a reservation for it - but the restaurant itself. There was no offer to move us to anything empty. I’m sure if we had been throwing back the booze some kind of accommodation would have been made.
For more than 20 years Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon has been a part of our family’s dining out habits. We’ve spent at least four New Year’s Eve’s there and many a birthday or wedding anniversary not to mention impromptu meet-ups as was this most recent visit.
For a restaurant that is on no one’s hot list anymore to treat customers as we were is a death knell for what once was a welcoming place.
We had 7 people who all ordered different meals and all were excellent. The most outstanding ones were two specials, pork chop and bacon wrapped scallops. The pot roast nacho appetizer was also amazing with high portions. We had a very knowledgeable and attentive waitress.
Food was good. Waitress was personable. I do think management is pushing the edge on price. And the ambiance at the original location — maybe it’s time to upgrade.
A local favorite and for good reason not the least of which is the brilliance in the way they run their parking lot. Cars are moved out and brought back by magic. Such a pleasure after a good meal
Great Service, dedicated employee Holiday work shift. Kept us updated on meal status and was attentive to our dining needs
I was disappointed. I chose Atria's in Mt Lebanon because I preferred the ambiance to their other locations. The service was only average, as it seemed that they were understaffed that evening. From what I could see, the server had only a few tables to attend to, but the service was slow. To be fair, I think the server was trying to make the most of a less than optimal situation.
The power kept going out, and I could not tell if the failure was internal, as in a breaker that kept blowing, or external, which would be out of their control. The server did not offer an explanation, only apologies. A brief storm did occur, but the power problems happened before it hit.
Finally, the item served to my wife was not as described on the menu. The server stated that the kitchen did not inform him that they were out of a side dish, and substituted something else without asking . That is inexcusable.
In short, this experience was NOT what I have come to expect from Atria's at any location, let alone their first and best known one.
THE best neighborhood restaurant in Mt Lebanon and the area. Never disappointed and the staff is always pleasant and attentive.
One more reason to live here
Nice evening out with wife and infant son. Seated upstairs in a quieter area which was nice. Food was excellent and flavorful.
Always recommend. Great food, nice drink selection, staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Atria's has always been a good go-to place for us. We have always had a good meal there and service
is generally good as well. This time I did not give a review as high as I could have.
The reason for this is, I had booked the reservation through Open Table. When I got there, they said they didn't have the reservation. I had a confirmation from them via email but they didn't have it on the computer. (yes, I checked to make sure I had booked it at that location, and I did.) Luckily, as we had travelled across the city to meet with an out of town family member for dinner there, they had a table for us.
We made a reservation for the back room at their highest and farthest room. It's surrounded by glass door and windows. Very bright and nice. The fact that the small tables, surrounding the two larger tables in the center, did not have tablecloths was disappointing. The food was very tasty, as usual. We did miss having a bread plate, though. Overall, a nice dinner, but could have been a nicer experience. Atria's is still our favorite local chain restaurant.
Excellent service and accommodations of special seating request! Definitely will be back!
The place is filthy. The carpets are filthy, disgusting. My shoes stuck to the carpets. Especially up the huge staircase. There were bugs on the window sill right next to our table. Service was very slow. Waitress was nice.
Food was excellent and didn't take long to get. In all we were in and out in under an hour, even during dinner hours. All the wait staff was wonderful and welcomed us and made sure we were doing okay during our visit. Would absolutely recommend and would come back!
This is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant with very good food It's reliable, friendly, and comfortable. In good weather, the patio is delightful.
A great place for Mother’s Day!
Perfect from start to finish!
Fun enjoyable very pleasant experience.
The service and food was consistent with this Atrias. The restaurant itself needs some attention. Specially the carpets need replacing.
On a positive note this is our favorite Atrias.
We really loved the table where we were seated. Atria's has been our go-to for years- we have had birthdays, wedding and baby showers there and the place really has so much sentimental value for our whole family. My mother was visiting from St. Louis and commented several times how much she liked the placement of our table.
Great steak salad, ribs and sliders. Everything fresh and my steak was a filet cooked to perfection.
I had the seafood etoufee (I am sure I spelled that wrong) and my husband had the fra diavlo. Both were very hot (temp) and delicious!!! Service was great and our waitress was very attentive.
Took my granddaughter there for lunch with the Easter bunny. Love the old house fill. Also my granddaughter and daughter were very pleased with everything. Will take my husband and friends there also....
We met with relatives that we had not seen in over 30 years and the staff was very accommodating in allowing us time to renew old acquaintances.
