Atria's - Mt. Lebanon
For over half a century, people have made Atria's their very own Pittsburgh neighborhood restaurant. Come and see what makes us different!
Friendly service. Great food.
Very good and great service!
Atria’s is known for wonderful food and service, yet I was SO disappointed over my experience there. I purposely chose Atria’s to take my out of town boss there for a guaranteed delicious meal. All of the main dishes were lukewarm to cold, yet the plates were scalding hot. It was very obvious the food had been sitting under the warmers for awhile. The vegetables tasted like they had freezer burn, were mushy and had no taste. None of the food had any seasoning to it. The service was excellent and Courtney did a great job. I didn’t understand why the food appeared as it did since it was a slow night. I would have more empathy if it was a busy, chaotic night. We were sat upstairs and it was a private area for all of us to speak to one another. Although, I was so embarrassed over the meal. Incredibly disappointing when trying to impress my boss with a delicious meal....
We had a wonderful time at the Mt. Lebanon Atria's restaurant. Great food
We hadn't been to Atria's in several years. The lobster bisque and Caesar salad were excellent. My son loved his chicken pot pie. My husband rice bowl is "just okay". Kind of bland and lack luster. The bread rolls were hard as a rock. I ordered a Blood Orange Cosmo. The server brought me accidentally a burnt orange cosmo (worst drink I have ever had). The waitress even said that she thought the drink looked funny and admitted later, there is a new bar tender. There were flakes of burnt orange floating in the drink, the drink was very cloudy and unappealing in appearance. I had to use the tiny straw to suck up the drink which was crazy strong to avoid getting the "chunks" of other things in my mouth. My husband shared with the waitress that the drink was awful (for $11, we had to say something!). She right away said that she thought the drink looked funny (so why would you bring it to me if you thought it looked strange). She realized that she had ordered the wrong drink and the new bartender made the wrong drink incorrectly anyway. They brought me a blood orange cosmo which was very good. All in all, the dinner was fine...but we won't be going back anytime soon.
First time at this Atria's location. Very nice restaurant.
The Oktoberfest menu did not disappoint: AGAIN! One of my top 5 local restaurants!!
Amazing Oktoberfest food and a delightful server.
Really good food! Loved the crab cakes and Octoberfest menu. Anniversary dinner, but sat in the room with large loud groups?!?! Okay service/hostess. Maybe an off night in service.
We all had a dish from the Octoberfest menu which was our reason for eating there. We are repeat customers. While the food was tasty, as usual, it was not hot when served. Barely above tepid. Not a good thing. Disappointing for Atria’s. Our server was attentive to our table.
I had to give a single star is all categories. After being seated by the Hostess and waiting 15 minutes looking over the drink and food menu no one attempted to wait on our table. A waiter took an order from the table next to us. Another waitress delivered food to another table. Still another waiter delivered food to another table and cleaned off the table behind us. Still not one of them acknowledged us. Hey, thanks to the hostess who opened the door for us and did not recognize that she just sat us 15 minutes ago. Really, someone act like you can see people not just the task.
Wonderful service and great food.
We had a wonderful experience at Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Our waitress Sanessa even went out of her way to try to find a gluten free roll and offered to grill it so that I could have bread and butter with my family. Thomas, the cook came out and talked to me about the ingredients he was using to make my meal completely gluten free. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. It was overall a great evening.
Thanks for the great review. We will pass on your kind words to Sanessa and Chef Thomas. Hope to see you again soon!
Great venue for outside dining. We enjoyed the Oktoberfest menu and the combination platter we both ordered
Their food is always good, but this time of year, you can’t beat the Oktoberfest menu!!
Used to be a reliable go-to when I lived in Mt Lebo but no more. Had reservation for 5 people at 430 on a Sunday. Sat down immediately as they were not busy yet at all. Then it took 20 min and asking twice to get a server. If we didn’t have someone on crutches we would have gone somewhere else after 10 min. No excuse for such poor service. Bummer.
Seems like menu has been revised, not a lot of dinner choices, chicken marsala gone for one thing. Never have eggplant or scallops on menu.
We've eaten at this Atria's many times and always have a good meal and good service, but there was definitely something wrong with the cooling system this trip. It seemed to feel warmer on the first floor than it did outside. I assume that it was a one time problem they were having and it should be fixed. Otherwise, food and service was wonderful as always!
Oktoberfest! Our favorite time at Atrias. Food, service, and value is always excellent.
The Oktoberfest menu is outstanding....wish they had those menu items all year long!
Thanks for the great review. We're glad you love our Oktoberfest menu. It's our favorite menu of the year! Hope to see you again soon.
We have given Atrias a perfect score before and enjoy dining here. This time was awful.
1) our food took over an hour to be served
2) they messed up my child’s order and took away all of his food (luckily someone must have told our server that was a really bad idea and she brought back fries)
3) we did not get all of the food we ordered
4) I spoke with the manager and said how disappointed I was and told my dad how great the place was before we came. He said he’d talk to my parents and make it right. I had to leave since my young son was way past his bedtime with no food because our food took 75 minutes to be served. The manager never talked to my parents.
5) I had all of our dinners in my hand (except for my sons) and I asked the hostess (not Anna) for a bag. She was very snippy and said my waitress would be back with my sons dinner. I said thank you but may I please have a sack for my current food and she’s like she’ll bring one. Our waitress finally came with my sons food and no bags. Luckily a nice waiter got me a bag and helped me put all of our dinner in it.
Love this local favorite and am never disappointed. Expect to become a regular - why not, everybody else is?
Thanks for the great feedback. We love that you have made us a regular spot for you and can't wait to see you again!
Great dinner with my wife and young son. Loved the updated seasonal menu. Food was fresh and flavorful. Sever was attentive and provided great service.
Thanks for the great feedback. We are excited for our seasonal menus especially our Oktoberfest menu right now. We will share your comments with the staff and hope to see you soon.
I plan to become more of a regular here. The management of this restaurant is among the best- present and attentive to what is happening. I enjoy the menu - almost all of what I have ordered (no one is perfect) and the general hospitality. Community is fortunate in having such a "go to" place
Thanks for the great review. We appreciate your feedback and we will pass on your kind words to the rest of the staff. Next time you visit please let us know so we can thank you personally.
My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. I’m enrolled in their awards program and they offered buy one dinner and get an equal or lesser valued dinner for free. Getting two crab cake dinners for $25 was great and they were delicious.
Food was delish - love that pot roast. The waiter was great - she was a ball of energy and was running her butt off the whole time we were there.
Food was very good, service was on par, but could use a little sprucing up.
I haven't been to Atria's in years but always loved their food and atmosphere. We were very disappointed on this return trip. The Ahi tuna had an odd, fishy flavor, almost like it was old and the menu was very limited overall. The server was not at all in tune with the experience. We told her we were in no hurry, yet the entree's came before we were half done with the appetizer, had to ask for more water, etc. Nice enough, but she seemed very inexperienced. It was not the fine experience were remembered in the past.
Great food and atmosphere
A reservation is almost a must here. Be sure to request special accommodations if you need them. I did, but they did not receive the info. However, they were able to seat us where we wanted in a short time frame. Food was very nice, service a bit slow. We do frequent this restaurant from time to time.
Atria's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I go there many times a year. I also knew the original Atrias people back in the 70's.
Excellent all around. Looks are deceiving from the outside so don’t miss it!!!
Service was very good and attentive. Food was very good and portion size was just right.
I won’t be recommending this Atria’s to anyone any longer. We had reservations for two for 5:30 and had requested a booth. We were on time and had our dinner plus dessert and coffee.
When we arrived, out of 8 possible seating arrangements only one other was taken. During the course of our meal those seats filled up as did the high tops and some bar stools. People left and the seats were not filled. It was not a busy night. Around 8:20 we were asked to leave - not just our booth as there was a reservation for it - but the restaurant itself. There was no offer to move us to anything empty. I’m sure if we had been throwing back the booze some kind of accommodation would have been made.
For more than 20 years Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon has been a part of our family’s dining out habits. We’ve spent at least four New Year’s Eve’s there and many a birthday or wedding anniversary not to mention impromptu meet-ups as was this most recent visit.
For a restaurant that is on no one’s hot list anymore to treat customers as we were is a death knell for what once was a welcoming place.
We had 7 people who all ordered different meals and all were excellent. The most outstanding ones were two specials, pork chop and bacon wrapped scallops. The pot roast nacho appetizer was also amazing with high portions. We had a very knowledgeable and attentive waitress.
Food was good. Waitress was personable. I do think management is pushing the edge on price. And the ambiance at the original location — maybe it’s time to upgrade.
A local favorite and for good reason not the least of which is the brilliance in the way they run their parking lot. Cars are moved out and brought back by magic. Such a pleasure after a good meal
Great Service, dedicated employee Holiday work shift. Kept us updated on meal status and was attentive to our dining needs
I was disappointed. I chose Atria's in Mt Lebanon because I preferred the ambiance to their other locations. The service was only average, as it seemed that they were understaffed that evening. From what I could see, the server had only a few tables to attend to, but the service was slow. To be fair, I think the server was trying to make the most of a less than optimal situation.
The power kept going out, and I could not tell if the failure was internal, as in a breaker that kept blowing, or external, which would be out of their control. The server did not offer an explanation, only apologies. A brief storm did occur, but the power problems happened before it hit.
Finally, the item served to my wife was not as described on the menu. The server stated that the kitchen did not inform him that they were out of a side dish, and substituted something else without asking . That is inexcusable.
In short, this experience was NOT what I have come to expect from Atria's at any location, let alone their first and best known one.
