   Situated within the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Atölye Restaurant sets expectations of refined luxury and impeccable hospitality; however, the experience falls noticeably short of this promise. Upon entering, the hotel itself evokes a sense of constraint rather than grandeur, with a reception area more suited to a modest four-star establishment than a luxury five-star hotel. This subdued impression carries through to Atölye Restaurant, where the ambiance lacks the warmth and meticulous attention to detail one would anticipate. Service, often the hallmark of a high-end dining establishment, appears disconnected and perfunctory. Staff show minimal engagement, offering neither thoughtful recommendations nor insightful descriptions of dishes when serving. Plates are hurriedly cleared, often before all diners have concluded their meal, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere of urgency rather than relaxed indulgence. In contrast, the culinary offerings at Atölye deliver on taste, providing dishes that are satisfying and flavorful, yet these strengths alone cannot redeem an otherwise underwhelming dining experience. Those in pursuit of a genuinely luxurious and attentive gastronomic journey may find greater satisfaction elsewhere in Istanbul’s vibrant dining scene.

   This place is amazing. Went three times in a row. Hard not to get my favorite dish every time. The noise level was perfect. The Customer Service was incredible.

   I couldn‘t believe the great reviews both on open table and tripadvisor. Now I can! Absoulte delight in all aspects. Great hospitality from A to O (Omer) to Z. Delicious food. Stunning view.

   La nourriture était excellente et le service aussi. Je recommande l’établissement à tous voyageurs. De nuit, il est difficile de percevoir le Bosphore et la ville depuis le restaurant.

    Receptionist was unprepared und no table was set up although a reservation was made! Waiter at the table however did an outstanding job! Were expecting more from the food considering the Michelin signs (no star though) and the location in a high class hotel. Overall not a bad experience but a bit overrated.
