Set in a charming cottage, near Ansley in midtown and only 5 min walk from Beltline access points, atmosphere is a chic bistro that offers more than just a pretty face.
The mood is romantic and mellow cool with soft lighting.
The theme of relaxed, inviting elegance extends to the bar and the patio.
The menu offers great classics such as Escargots in garlic butter, Duck confit, as well as Mussels marinieres or Scallops with mushroom raviolis.
From best French restaurant to best 100 overall restaurant, atmosphere has an impressive collection of awards and "Best of" nominations since its opening in 2002.
No wonder it is rated excellent by Zagat revue and #1 French restaurant in the city.

                                                    Unfortunately Atmosphere is closing. However our last dinner there was wonderful. Our server, Sam, was gracious, on top of things and clearly a pro. The food was delicious and the ambience was the best. Will absolutely miss this place, but completely respect the owner’s choices and decisions. Au revoir!!!

                                                    Everyone loved their meal! Escargots are the best in Atlanta and the Trout Almandine was great. Atmosphere is a wonderful cozy restaurant.

                                                    We have been regular patrons of Atmosphere for the past 20 years. The restaurant is owned by a delightful French family. The food and service have always been outstanding. As the name implies, the “atmosphere” is the star of the show.

                                                    Our favorite celebration restaurant. Impeccable service, fantastic gourmet food. We are so sad to see Atmosphere close down but thrilled we were able to dine there one last time. We wish the owners a happy and well deserved retirement.
