Starters were great - prawns stand out, and roasted eggplant baba ganoush was delicious. The fresh whole fish was haddock, well-prepared. It was a treat to be served a whole fish - somewhat unusual in the US. My kids were well-treated and really happy with the BBQ half-chicken and the ribs. We enjoyed the desserts too. Wine list was interesting with good selection of wines we don't usually see. Atlas is a little out of the main town, but we walked there easily. Service was great. Highly recommended.

A nice place just outside Nantucket town (about 1-1/2 Mike walk). Good food, especially the BBQ options! Ribs!

The ribs are very, very good, and they are accompanied by a nice slaw. The other dishes don't quite get there. The triple B burger was not really special, the bacon got lost, and the fries were average. The cod came with chorizo's, but not enough greens to balance the dish. Spanish chorizo with its firmer texture and smokey taste from smoked paprika would have improved the dish. Wine choices were reasonable. This could be a nice addition to the dining choices on island if a few more dishes reach the quality of the ribs.

We have dined here several times and each time as been a better experience than the last. The staff is personable and the atmosphere is upbeat and comfortable. As for the food, the BBQ ribs are the real deal and delicious! We definitely think they have mastered the technique of making BBQ ribs. In addition, we highly suggest the Caesar salad and chicken wings appetizers. Their homemade desserts are delicious and go well with a cup of French pressed coffee. The bar is inviting and well designed. The house cocktails, including the hot apple cider special, are creative, well thought out, and tasty. Last, there is take-out -- a plus for the islanders! We would definitely recommend dining here.

First time at Atlas and would definitely go again. The service was attentive, the food was very good. Nice presentation and good tasting. The decor is very nice. It was a little loud but not too bad.

The food at Atlas Bbq and Fish house was excellent. The chef /owner came to our table and was anxious to accommodate us. The food was healthy and delicious. We went to this restaurant because of the excellent reviews and it did not disappoint us.

Tried Atlas on a whim. The food is EXCELLENT! Very comfortable decor. Chef came out to say 'Hi' and to answer any questions. Ribs are delicious as is the pulled poRk. Brisket was flavorful as well Strongly reciommend

Excellent all around--The food was delicious, with creative, and unique combinations, and our server was friendly and helpful. The personable owner/talented chef came to our table to check in on us, which was very nice. The food came out quickly and timely (between apps and entrees). We LOVED the watermelon gazpacho appetizer and freshly caught black sea bass entree, which was served with really unique spices and was very flavorful. Overall our experience was fantastic, and we will definitely go back.

Very disappointing. Not kid friendly nor sophisticated. Food is not good relative to the prices. Waiter not helpful, food was sent back undercooked fish. Owner was very apologetic and tried to make us feel better.
