Atlas Kitchen & Lounge
Showed up for our Saturday reservation at 6pm. Lights were off and no one was inside. Called the number, no answer. Checked their website for hours and they were clearly supposed to be open. No sign or anything indicating why they were closed.
I have been here several times, and have always enjoyed the food and the service. I brought my sister and brother-in-law to Atlas, it was their first trip to Seattle. We had dinner there with some old friends of mine, who my sister had never met. Good time had by all!
Generous portion sizes and tasty food, though not a lot of variety. Good value.
everything fried has too much oil, place is just a sports bar as someone else said.
This is one of my favorite places to take my daughter after her Friday afternoon ballet classes while we wait for traffic to die down. It's nothing fancy - just good pub grub, sports, and decent wine and beer.
Dinner before an event at key arena
It's a sports bar...we were looking for a restaurant. From the menu and what Open Table had on the site it looked like it was a restaurant. It wasn't. It was just a sports bar. And that's equal parts of both.
When we got there we stood in the doorway behind the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign for like 15 minutes and no one came by so we went into the bar and a waiter came up, let us back to the door we had been standing in front of and checked us in. Weird. It might help if they checked the door from time to time. We were visible from anywhere in the restaurant for the 15 minutes we stood there and a number of servers walked by and nodded but no one seated us.
When we did get seated, it wasn't "energetic" as Open Table puts the sound level, it was DAMN loud. So loud I could not hear my wife across the table.
On the good side, once we were seated, the server was great, the drinks were good and our food was also good...except it didn't meet our expectations. Not the quality, just the choices. We thought there would be entrées, etc. but I ended up with a club sandwich and tater tots and my bride a wrap. Not the kind of food we want to spend that kind of money on (2 drinks, 2 entrées=$65 not counting tip).
We do like the place, just wish Open Table would not list bars as restaurants.
We walked in, and only 2 people were there. No one greeted us and we felt so ‘odd’ about the emptiness and lack of staff that we left.
Food was okay, service was terrible
Got together with a few friends because the girlfriend was dying to try one of the garbage plates. I knew it’d be good but wow absolutely blew me away! Amazing food, cold beer, and good service! Be definitely making Atlas a part of our weekend routine!
Attending a concert at the key on mother’s days. They were great and gave all moms free glasses of champagne!
I think this was our second visit. Mostly a bar crowd so it was a little noisy.
What a joke! Menu looks awesome yet and made reservations. Upon arriving, no ambiance- sports and Oscars on at same time blaring!! Would have still stayed yet stood there while waitstaff had a discussion- never acknowledging my presence. Left very disappointed. Will not return nor recommend.
Fun, sport, energetic and bright. Family friendly and great food. Will go again.
Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was fine.
Our food was good, but this is a noisy sports bar, so not for conversation.
We needed a reservation before a show at the Rep. Our usual haunts were full, so we tried Atlas. It was a basic dive sports bar, with matching food. If you like football and mediocre food, this place is for you. The service was great, and the waitress was very friendly. Just not my kind of place.
The food was top notch. Very interesting menu and well executed. Service was good. Very disappointing beer selection though. One large craft IPA on tap, then Bud?
Was initially meeting for a quiet meal but because of the second game of the 2017 World Series was on we decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was awesome!! I asked for ketchup for my fries as it came with a special sauce. I forgot about the ketchup because the sauce was so good! Drinks were great and the food, service & staff all round was perfect for catching up!!
Marco, our server, was excellent, fun and engaging, yet very professional.
There was a sports game on, so the atmosphere was fun, loud and lively. Great ambience for a casual group setting.
However, most of the waitress' attention was only on those sitting in the bar. They only had two waitress' working. Overall, the customer service was lacking and it took much too long (40+ minutes) to get our food which consisted of fries and Caesar wraps.
Would potentially come back here for happy hour.
Atlas was the perfect place for food and drinks before an event at Key Arena. I appreciated the diversity and quality of both the food and drinks. Great location, food, service, and atmosphere.
