Excellent food and service. Date night meal was a bargain and delicious.
Great service! The corkage fee is $25 and wine prices are sky high so not a great option if you want wine. The fresh fish was outstanding but one of our table only ate a few bites of her beef and the other had to send hers back to have it cooked properly. One side was cooked to proper temperature but the other was borderline raw. A little strange. Also, We had requested a table by the window in our reservation bill did not get one even though one was open. After asking the waitress they did honor our request. On a high note, the waitress was extremely helpful and personable. We enjoyed her more than the meal.
Great food. Service was just good. This was our second Date Night at AG. First time was great. This time, we had a coupe of issues with the service. Understandably, the restaurant was slammed outside on the deck. However, that fact should not have distracted from our evening at an inside table. Even with the service problem, we still recommend going to Date Night at AG.
Did the tasting menu with wine pairings.
Flavors were not paired well. Example would be a very heavy and meaty demi glace paired with a divers scallop, etc...
Each wine pairing showed up at the table at exactly the point you had finished eating the course it was meant to pair with and that was after you had already given up on waiting until the wine came before eating the course.
Screwed up the bill.
I expected much more for a fine dining spot in the Hammock.
Food was good, need a little bit more variety on the menu because I would like to go back again. It is a very low key place, great view; one of the best I've seen in awhile. need specials and maybe a little bit more of a " wow" that looks great, and more food
Hard to find at night due to lack of signage, but once there the restaurant is very nice, with elegant food and great service in an relaxed atmosphere. One of our beef filets was ordered medium and came out rare, but everything else was nicely served and tasted great. Prices were reasonable too for a dinner this classy.
Waitress very good, ambiance was nice, but food portion for the “date night” menu was extremely lacking. They gave us a steak the size of a golf ball, and one lobster tail that was split in half, one half was on my husbands plate, the other half on mine. The appetizer said scallops and we received ONE scallop on a huge plate. Wouldn’t have killed them to give at least two scallops considering the price of the meal. Wouldn’t return again. We both went home and ate again two hours later.
Fabulous tapas in the bar, highly recommend the marinated manchengo (be sure to ask for bread you are going to want it for the yummy infused oil). Dinner was wonderful, the beet salad was perfect, the truffle oil really set off the goat cheese. Did not meet the chef on this visit, but look forward to meeting him on our next visit. If Sharon is working ask to seated in her section for a really perfect experience.
This was our first time back since the re-opening after the storm.
Food was Great!!
Our waitress went above & beyond.
She was very attentive & very helpful.
She added a BIG PLUS to the visit!!
Please...... bring back thé She-Crab Soup!!!
Another delightful visit meeting high expectations. Great service provided by attentive staff. Late afternoon lunch is a great time for leisurely dining. The Salmon Burger was especially excellent.
Apps were ok. Entree was horrible. Fish was overcooked and sauce was not good.
my only complaint is that it is too bright for evening dining. AND maybe the tables are just a wee bit too far apart.
It was our first visit and we had a hard time finding the place. The signage is not so great. The true entrance had buffet tables covered in tableclothes, which made it look closed. The room decor was lacking in the main dining room! Their drinking water is disgusting! It smells and tastes like a chorinated swimming pool. Phew! Order the bottled water instead. Also be weiry of the bar drinks. The food was definitely a nice surprise and very tasty. We had the prefix Christmas dinner menu with prawns, quail, duck and chocolate mousse. I’d recommend going to the food. Even with all those spite Our meal was delicious! When with oll the issues.
Food was good. Server Sharon was fun and personable! A fun dining experience on Christmas Eve!
The service was slower than what it should have been particularly when considering that the restaurant and bar were sparsely populated.
Very welco.ing with many choices all staff were attentive and friendly. Our waiter was amazing his name was Randy and his recommendations and knowledge of the menu and wine choices were meal enhancing and spot on, we will definitely add this to our favorite places Thank ypu
Was hoping that it would be better since new owership...but no....food was mediocre and the server was obnoxious saying “my pleasure” after everything she said. Plus she and her trainee had no idea from which side to serve or take away the dirty plates. I am so sad as I was so hoping it would be a star in Palm Coast.
The restaurant was ver hard to find in the dark
Noise level very high and the the service was not up to par
Can’t recommend this restaurant
They’ve got room for improvement. I am scrutinizing the place based on the price and expected product. First, really spartan decor, essentially just a room where food is served. Not much character with two pieces of art on wall and some light fixtures. Lot’s of employees but not as much work being done. Waiting long intervals between service. The entrees were very good, not cheap so expected. The beet salad was awful, essentially some cubed pieces of beet scattered on greens. How they call it beet salad? I expected better and was deceived by favorable reviews.
Food was pricey, but not particularly yummy. Example was $14 roasted beet salad with about 2 tablespoons of beets and lots of lettuce. Entrees unimaginative and a bit bland.
Good food small portions for expensive price they charge
Our dinner was not good, below average.
Nothing special or great about this restaurant except that there is a view of the ocean.
Beautiful location directly on the beach. Creative menu and nice presentation.
The atmosphere was wonderful. The salmon was under-cooked. The service was spectacular.
Food was delicious and view spectacular!
Quite ambience; low noise level; beautiful view of Atlantic Ocean; Lunch menu choices were average and were largely sandwhiches
A little hard to find, but worth the trip. It was just the right place to have our Telarus Technology Innovations Conference Executivie Dinner.
Excellent as always. They know how to prepare fish. The best.
I would rate the Atlantic Grille above average in food quality, but not outstanding. It's a little pricey for the above average rating for quality. Service was very good. We had four people in our party celebrating birthdays, but they didn't do anything to recognize that.
This was our first time returning to Atlantic Grill & Tapas since the re-opening. The decor is fresh with nautical accents and views of the ocean. We sampled the fire roasted cauliflower which was sweet and spicy followed by the yellow tail tuna and lobster tail which were both specials for the evening. The tuna was broiled with butter and capers which was delicious. The lobster tail was slightly overdone but accompanied with a tasty crab cake. We finished the meal with coffee and carrot cake with a front row seat to an amazing lightening storm.
We brought our neighbor out to celebrate her 97th birthday. All the women had the shrimp tacos, which we all enjoyed. Our neighbor's son, who was with us, had the hamburger. It looked delicious. It was a very yummy and enjoyable way to help celebrate a special lady turning 97. We all loved the view of the ocean! Caroline did an excellent job of serving us.
Food and service was Excellent! Had the filet and was perfectly cooked.
We sat outside overlooking the ocean. The Sunset Was Amazing. The Drawback for This Place Is Once You Turn Off The Main Road The Restasurasnt Is Very Hard To Find. more Signage Is Needed Once You Are In The Resort.
Love the ocean view. Very nice, attentive waitress. Very good food.
Food was great! But a little pricey . Meal for 4 adults wax $164. When we arrived had a hard time finding which door to enter and we were asked if we had reservation, which we did online about 1 hr before we arrived. They found reservation and asked if we were members, no. They then asked if we were staying at resort, no. Then finally seated us. That made us feel like outsiders invading their territory, but food was very good and served was very nice.
Nice upscale ocean front location. Come here for anniversary.
This restaurant is just inconsistent. Last time we ate threr it was very nice. This time not much was right. I can't recommend even with the beautiful views.
Evening was ruined because of a uninterested, unenthusiastic server who never explained the specials, never offered a steak knife until asked and never brought us a second glass of wine which we requested with the entree until the meal was over. We sent back the wine, skipped dessert and left behind a gratuity commensurate with the service.
Happy to have Atlantic Grille reopened to the public since the hurricane. It is the only restaurant at Hammock Resort that is open to the public. The best reason to go is comfortable dining on the ocean. No other place like it nearby. The food is good hotel food. We went for lunch and had burgers and a salad. Prepared well and I also had the truffle oil Parmesan fries which were very good. It is a limited lunch and dinner menu. The food is good even though pricey. But it is worth the visit just to sit in a luxury dining venue on the ocean. It is one of our favorite spots.
We enjoyed everything except the pork dish was overdone and 3 out of 8 people chose it. It does have a wonderful view
