Outdoor dining was excellent. Love the atmosphere. Food was very good and our server was very attentive and accommodating. Wait time was minimal and drinks were perfect. Highly recommend as a casual and friendly dining experience.
Mother’s Day dinner out...the outside patio, service and food...everything was perfect.
No major complaints, just a couple of minor things. We had a 3:45 reservation on their outdoor patio on Mother's Day. It was not especially warm out but we were seated under the awning. There were at least 6 table open in the sunnier central area and we asked the hostess if we could be placed there instead. She said she needed to check and then returned to say that, no, those tables were already reserved for other guests. Okay, fine, don't know how one gets on the special list but anyway, those tables all remained unoccupied throughout our entire meal and dessert. Second, my wife and I ordered their spicy margarita, which is usually got quite an jalapeno bite to it. These tasted like plain margaritas. Rather than taking them back and correcting them they brought a glass with chopped jalapenos, seeds and all. We let it pass. I then ordered a second one and the server took the glass of sliced jalapenos with her and came back with the new drink into which they had dumped all the remaining peppers. I mean, who does that? Besides these things, our meals were fine. The chowder was very tasty, perhaps a bit too creamy but delicious. Their fish and chips dinner is always excellent. My wife and the stuffed haddock which was also quite good as was the burger our non-seafood eating daughter had. Strawberry shortcake and creme brulee topped things off nicely.
I sat at the bar with my 92 year old Mother and she had a ball. The bar tender was very good, food was prompt and we enjoyed ourselves.
We planned a Mother’s Day dinner with our mom that has never been to Atlantic Grill.
Having dined there in the past we knew the food would be fabulous. We started our meal with seafood chowder, mussels and oysters. The seafood chowder had more potatoes than seafood. The oysters were tiny with little taste and the mussels were bland
My husband had prime rib that was supposed to be medium. Unfortunately, a majority of it was well done. The mashed potatoes were scarce. Two of us ordered baked stuffed haddock with minimum stuffing and sauce.
All and all it was an expensive disappointment.
VERY EXPENSIVE for what you receive. I ordered the Crab Sandwich and there was barely any crab meat in it and my husband ordered the burger. The burger for $16 is a previously frozen patty! It came out without cheese on it and it was overcooked. To "fix" the cheese problem the server brought over 3 cold pieces of cheese on a side plate. Expected way more from this place.
Food is always very fresh and well-presented. All wait staff do an incredible job, very friendly and efficient!
Due to Covid, the menu has been somewhat reduced from its prior list of entrees. I am hoping that the menu will expand soon in order to offer diners more choices.
I sincerely hope that Atlantic Grill will consider putting tuna steaks and their amazing Cioppino back on the menu. The latter entree was always a favorite of ours, we miss it very much! Please bring it back.
Not that great
Having a dairy allergy can be challenging dining out. I requested the Shrimp scampi only if it could be made to accommodate my restrictions and the kitchen rose above the challenge. My dinner was excellent, they didn’t just throw together something, they created a very tasty alternative. I ordered a cocktail on the tart side and it arrived more on the sweet side. When I pointed this out to our waitress, she offered to correct or replace my drink. I chose to add some lime juice and was quite pleased with the results. As always, we left being impressed with the food, service and the atmosphere. Highly recommend...
We visit the Atlantic Grill once a week. We wouldn’t be repeat customers if it didn’t have what we appreciate.
Ex pected morefrom the food.
Noisy at times.
A little pricey for what you got.
We were there for an early dinner and we still waited a long time for our waitress and for the food. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice but the food a bit pricey. I would recommend this place if you want something different of for a special event in your family.
7:15 Reservation- table not ready and had to wait outside until 7:35. They did comp a round of drinks but would
Rather have had the table ready.
Party of 6, dined outside, great place, service was very good. Will definitely go back.
What a lovely time we had outside at the Atlantic Grill. The food was great, service was top notch and safety awareness was excellent. We will be going back soon!
Our meal was amazing! My husband and I cannot remember a time that we went to somewhere and completely cleared our plates. The seafood chowder was phenomenal! I am gluten free and having those options available to me was a serious perk.
Our meals were great, except for the crazy veggies served with the filet- like every vegetable about to go bad. Who steams radish? Also what is with the truly weird combinations - Pork and Clam or Fried Chicken and Caviar? No simple baked/broiled fish, no chicken except the sandwich with Caviar, gluten free pasta with no option for regular pasta. Sometimes creative can get away from you.
The food was fabulous! Our waiter was absolutely amazing! The Seafood Chowder is the best anywhere , just an explosion of flavor! We come from two different directions, slSaunderstown, Rhode Island and Camden, Maine ~ driving two and a half hours each to meet for lunch a couple of times a year. We love this restaurant♡
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. the service was outstanding from host, waitress and manager. Just a all around great experience.
Always a good eat! Who knew that grits, eggs, veggies and grilled shrimp all plated together could taste so heavenly? A must menu try for any brunch occasion!
The ambiance on the outside patio and food were wonderful--we really enjoyed ourselves and will be back. The only negative was that it was a bit overpriced, but otherwise, I would recommend to others.
Patio is beautiful. Waitress was great. Food was good, a bit over priced but all around, we had a great lunch.
We just love it here. It’s the perfect stop from a ride up the coast. I love that it’s an Open Table app participant guaranteeing our lunch reservation. The restaurant manager and staff recognize us and treat us like gold. Thank you for making every dining experience great!
Gorgeous patio, and good food and drinks. We appreciated our service!
For an eatery that calls itself a "seafood restaurant" the seafood selection was mediocre - a few fried seafood dishes and a couple of baked choices. My dish had wilted lettuce. Also the dish included polenta, which I thought would be on the side but turned out to be a big goopy mess that covered the entire dish. However the ambiance is nice so if you're not picky about your seafood it's a decent restaurant.
Beautiful restaurant and wonderful food. Will definitely go back.
Expectation of a $32 piece of haddock is that it’s seasoned the stuffed crab salmon haddock with a white sauce was as bland as it comes.
Work on menu. Its a miss of a restaurant that has tons of potential
The outside tables are well spaced, service was great and food was delicious. This was our first venture into restaurant dining since covid started - we picked the right place to feel comfortable and have great food.
Wonderful Sunday evening dinning experience. Highly recommend.
Always great food, service and ambiance! They were very covid cautious which made us feel comfortable and relaxed!
Atlantic Grill never disappoints. Their food, drink, and ambience are top-notch. Their COVID protocol is comforting and not heavy-handed. The servers are very pleasant and attentive, and it's a nice escape from mundane meals and clean-up at home. It's a perfect place for special occasions, or just when you want a great meal and good drinks.
The Atlantic Grill has become our favorite restaurant. First they have plenty of free parking. Diners are greeted upon arrival, they implement social distancing, & have hand sanitizer stations. The waiters and bar tenders are friendly and helpful. Although menu has less choices than before they have good choices and recently have added different menu options. The staff goes out of it’s way to accommodate guests and satisfy their needs.
I love the Atlantic Grille. Our lunch haddock sandwich was a bit overcooked but still tasted good. Our waitress was great & we enjoyed our experience.
Simple but complete menu, something for everyone and well-crafted dishes. Definitely a place to go back to
Service was great very attentive , food was surperb as usual. Very Pleased
As only sometimes meat eaters we were really impressed with the delicious seafood options with a lot of vegetable forward accompaniments. An excellent meal overall and a great evening to join the dining scene once again in person.
The atmosphere is nice and the staff was wonderful. I thought the menu was a bit thin and could have had a few more choices. I had the scallops appetizer and it was excellent. We both ended up ordering it for dinner also.
Salmon was great, frield fish good and will retunr
