Atelier serves exclusively a 12-course tasting menu offered at $125 CAD per person. We offer a wine pairing to complement the menu for $75 CAD per person.

A public lot is available for parking beside Atelier, cost will vary depending on time of day. $3.00 for after 6PM.

Took my dad and sister out for a special dinner, had an amazing experience. Food was absolutely superb. My waiter was fantastic, provided a great description of the blind 12-course tasting menu that we had with an optional wine pairing. Very accomadable with any food allergies or strong dislikes. 3 and a 1/2 hours of pure modern fine dining. Service couldn’t of been better, everyone was friendly, accommodating and we never needed to ask for a refill. You could taste just about every ingredient in each dish, all with a different creative touch/aspect to it. My favourite was the pork shoulder- absolutely fanominal! But not so much with the crab and horseradish soup, most likely just an acquired taste. Dessert was a lovely great way to end our meal. Definitely worth the price and would come back again when new dishes are created.
This was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had. The food was beautiful, I almost didn’t want to touch it. All the dishes tasted fantastic and had fresh and different ingredients. The waitress and sommelier were amazing and so knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend this place for people who love good food and wine and people who appreciate exceptional cuisine.
Never come here. It’s a huge gimmick. The food is horrible and they try to do things to make it seem desirable like put it in a terrarium or call it “shattered broccoli”. The staff are pretentious and embarrassing. Do not recommend.
As always, it did not disappoint. The food is pure theatre with modern design and wonderful tastes. Been here half a dozen or so times in last few years and have never been dissatisfied in any way. Class act..
Fantastic experience. So much creativity in the courses. A number of foods I had never tried. The molecular gastronomy approach was a treat, had seen plenty on television but never tasted. Wine pairings were quite enjoyable. Even though I don't normally drink much white, highly recommend the paired wine option. Small, quaint dining room.
Went to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was awesome. Highly recommend getting the wine pairing because it adds a lot to the meal, and the wines that are served are not only expensive, high-quality wines, but also accompany the dishes perfectly!
Few dishes were good but some were very missed. Especially the `new` dish they brought with sablefish. It was sous vide with plankton and other that I forgot but it was too fishy and unable to be consumed so I took a bite and did not eat after.
Overall good experience, but only will visit in every 5 years to renew my gastronomy experience.
I had a nice dinner with my son who is 11 years old. He enjoys the food so much and ate everything. The only thing is the portion is a little small and he could have eaten more.
But overall, AMAZING

Fun concept if you like the adventure of trying combination of flavors and a nice evening with great company. However, 12 courses is a bit much and as a result the portions so small that it is hard to register when something taste good - it is all over too quickly. A range of 6 to 8 dishes would be better. The wine pairing adds a lot to the experience, almost a must do, and the service is excellent. Great somelier!
The blind menu is an experience and so much fun. Everything was delicious. Great attention to detail. Really enjoyed every single bite. The sommelier picked the perfect wine to go with the entire meal. Thanks Atelier for a wonderful birthday! The restaurant even printed a commemorative birthday menu signed by the whole team! Wonderful experience.

Very good service and plate presentation. In General the taste of the food was delicious. But for some dishes, I think the focus was too much on the presentation rather than on the flavours. Great overall experience just sometimes missed flavours
Atelier is fantastic. It is more an art exhibit than a meal, with each dish a masterpiece to enjoy.
We had the best evening for my partner birthday. Carey was one of the best waiter we ever had in Ottawa. He was caring, attentive and knew every little details of each dish.
This isn’t a cheap restaurant but the value is great, we truly feel
Like it was a very fair price for the quality, the design of the dishes and using local products (which we know isn’t cheap).
The wine pairing is also worth it and is almost a no brainer due to the fact that every wine served and selected were of high quality.

We had been wanting to come here for over a year and finally made it for a birthday. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the experience was divine. Would love to visit again!
This was a true fine dining experience worthy of a special event. Unfortunately, i was expecting more from the food. It was without question very good, varied and very creatively presented in the most meticulous way but the tastes and flavours did not excite me or blow me away as I expected from this type of experience and for the cost.
It was great food and excellent service from the staff. The staff were all super friendly and knew the food well! I wished that the restaurant had more lights. I could hardly see my food, although it was delicious to the last bite. The lack of lights does make it a bit awkward at times. and the tables looked like they were bought at ikea and didn’t have any table cloths and the chairs were kind of hard to sit on. The lack of some decent furniture and lights is why I’m rating it 4/5.
I have been able to check off a bucket list item. Went on a whim; thankfully there was a table available. The service was very good (server spoke a bit quiet but I figured it out) and the menu was beautifully presented, creative and a lot of fun. Both my friend and I love a good food 'experience', and this did not disappoint! I highly recommend an evening - there is no need to do anything else. The pairing were very well chosen, and not limited to only wine, nor are the wines standard. I was impressed to see a BC wine in the pairing.
If you have the opportunity to have an evening here; be prepared to enjoy yourself. I will most Definately be back the next time I am in Ottawa; especially becasue the menu is always evolving.

Atelier on New Years is an absolute experience. We were treated to a massive 25 course meal, lasting 6 hours - right into the New Year. The food was unreal and every dish came out looking like art. Highlights included the carrot soup, the amazingly glazed ham slices, a helium-filled sugar balloon and the styrofoam cubes.
The service (Alisson and others) was impeccable and every dish was explained in great detail. We were even treated with complimentary champagne at midnight. We went with the wine-pairing which was thoroughly detailed out by Devon. While I can never tell the quality of the matchings, there were a few that became 10x better once taken with the matched food.
This was the perfect way to cap off a year of milestones for us and we couldn't haven't chosen a better place. This place is HIGHLY recommended for foodies. It's food and so much more of an experience.
The food was interesting and unusual. 13 small courses. We did the wine pairing as well which was very good. Service was fantastic and the waiter did a great job of introducing each course and the wine paired with it. Overall a nice meal for a special occasion but it was very very expensive ($450 for 2 all in). It was a unique experience and if thats what you are looking for I would recommend it. But the portions are small and if you are a big eater you wont be satisfied.

It was amazing, such a great night. All the twelve course were awesome, pairing with good drinks.
The menu is an experience to live once in your life. All the 12 services are very well presented, nice plates, lots of thinking in every dish. The problem that we found is that, beside 2 plates, it is not very tasty. The fodd is fade, not enough spices or herbs.. it doen't taste much. Squid without spices is rubber. there wa two excnelent plates (soft shell crab and pigeon).. the rest where not very good.
It is worth the try, it is like a laboratory of cuisine... but it is a $230/person testing night!!
I have been wanting to go to Atelier for while and finally just went with my boyfriend and it was such a great experience and I will go again. The food was amazing and flavorful, very friendly staff (sorry I cant remeber their names, but we had two servers, a young women and young tall man) and great wine. I loved the extra touch that I had said I was going for our anniversary and they placed it on the menu for us at the end of the night and all the staff signed it. I thought it was such a thoughtful and unique way for us to finish the night. Thank you for a great evening.

I took my boyfriend to Atelier for his birthday and we were both blown away. The food was amazing and the servers really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. If you are interested in food and molecular gastronomy in the food industry, this is the place to dine. Every course (about 12) was enough to please without overeating. There was a certain flow to the food and every course lead into the next. The flavours were well combined and you could tell there was so much thought put into every bite.
The staff was very accomodating to my nut allergy and didn’t make me feel like I was missing out on a single thing. The restaurant was very quiet which actually made for a better dining experience as it had more of an element of surprise. (Had there been other tables we would have seen what was to be expected for the rest of the evening). The server I spoke to on the phone had suggested a bottle of champagne that went hand in hand with our meal. Overall it was the perfect experience for two foodies such as ourselves.
A really lovely sensory experience as usual. This time, the tasting menu had lots of seafood-more than expected (soft shelled crab, octopus, fish, oysters). I like seafood but I found it to be too much fishiness this time around. Nonetheless, it’s a great experience, great service and there are some very interesting flavour mixes that we don’t usually get to experience.
AteLier is a great restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. The wine pairings with dinner were fantasitic and made the food even more enjoyable. Presentation of each course was fantastic and added to the experience. If you want to have an incr double culinary experience this is the place to go.
I was travelling through Ottawa for business and I made a dinner reservation for one at Atelier. I never felt alone despite dining by myself throughout the 4 hour dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about a wide range of subjects.
You can tell that a lot of thought went into crafting the entire experience. Everything from how each course looked on the plate, to the mix-match of textures and flavours, to the wine pairing, right down to the flair with which each course is presented and explained to you is part of an elaborate ceremony in fine dining.
Each course challenges what and how you think about food. Some will make you pause in awe at the first bite, and some may leave you scratching your head after you've finished eating. Simultaneously nuanced and in-your-face, the entire experience felt like a feat of experimental dining. Highly recommended.
