Had a great time here. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes!
We received the friendliest and most cheerful welcome and were led to a table in a bright, sunny and charming dining room. The servers were or attentive and delightful, and our meal was outstanding. The eggs Atchafalaya are a perfect brunch dish and my husband could not get enough of the gumbo. His trout was very memorable also! They serve delicious little homemade cornbread muffins with whipped butter topped with black lava salt that is to die for. Fav new place in NOLA!!!
Awesome food and restaurant. Service was great. Would love to go back.
Tony and his staff provided impeccable service. The food was delicious, especially the oyster special on the supper menu, but what really captured our love was the attentiveness of the entire waitstaff. This is fine dining but at a comfortable level. Can’t wait to return!
Brunch with my husband
Great venue for a group of 4 to sit, drink, talk and eat. Just like eating at someone's house in New Orleans. Waiter was funny and fulfilled our every need. And we had a couple that were very needy! :) I got the Rainbow Trout and it was delicious. The waffle desert was also awesome. We'll be back!
Truly one of the best brunch experiences anywhere. The staff has done a great job working through pandemic conditions. WE can't wait for live music to return. The shrimp and grits are as good as any I have had.
Brunch was great and was very satisfied with everything we ordered.
Excellent all round, food is innovative, presentation clean and minimal. Service friendly. Love the chef.. cocktails are the best.
Just ate there this past weekend. Highly recommend the Blue Crab Raviol for starters, the Strawberry & Arugula salad, followed with either the Braised Short Ribs or the Chicken Clemenceau.
We enjoyed a Coolinary dinner which was delicious. Quaint neighborhood style restaurant.
Had a great meal. We ate off the coolinary menu and were very satisfied. Staff were very pleasant, food was great and atmosphere was fun.
Love Atchafalaya, and one of us got the coolinary menu. The Coolinary menu did not disappoint! 😍
Brunch here is great and the menu changes often so there is always something new to try
What a beautiful dining experience! This was our first time eating out since the start of the pandemic, and we didn’t not choose wrong! The staff was amazing, the food divine, and we felt more than accommodated for with health precautions. Thanks for a great experience!
So good!! And delicious bottle of $20 wine!!
Best Coolinary lunch I’ve tried. Best service and the best waiter. Masked and distanced.
We had a Lovely brunch. The food was great as well as the service. The restaurant was very comfortable and an easy walk in a nice neighborhood.
I had a wonderful time. Loves the flavors of the food. Excellent drinks. My only complaint would be that the cauliflower steak came out a little cool, and the mushrooms seemed under cooked.
Thanks for a wonderful evening.
The food was inventive and perfectly prepared.
The service was excellent, especially handling our wine
The fried brussells are a must. They're topped with goat cheese and roasted pecans -- yum! We visited for brunch and enjoyed the quirky vibe. I'd love to visit again for dinner. I had the chicken and waffles, which were spicy-sweet with a tangy slaw. My bloody mary was lovely, too. Can't wait to visit again!
Absolutely amazing place. Simply perfect! Awesome Brunch!
Great atmosphere, food, and craft cocktails. Service was warm and hospitable. We'll definitely be back!
Loved it! One of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had.
Excellent food and service. Dave at the front door was the best service we had during our 5 days in NOLA. Will return again. Brunch was awesome.
Our complete experience exceeded our expectations!
Local traditional food with a lot of Unique flair! Everything seemed priced about 2-3 dollars more than it should be though.
Have been before and enjoyed the food! Most of the food was good. We had one dish that was prepared horribly. It’s was supposed to be fried green tomatoes and it was prepared with red, so ended up being very mushy and not good. They did take the price off the bill but the owner acted like she didn’t want to accept responsibility saying the tomatoes in the back were green. Well, then she should make sure they are using them. Just rude about it! May decide not to return again. There are so many good options in town.
Extensive cocktail and wine list. The Coolinary options were excellent this year.
The food and social distancing dining experience was phenomenal! Always love eating here. Chelsea was a delight, as were all our servers.
Another fabulous meal and a wonderful evening at Atchafalaya Restaurant. The Free-Form Blue Crab Raviolo is still my favorite appetizer, so rich and delicious, and filling enough to order as an entree. But tonight we over indulged as Chef Tom Ramsey had two oyster appetizers on his special summer menu that were local and fresh, simply sublime. The Pork Chop and Potato Leek Gratin never disappoints, and I highly recommend the Scallop Tostada entree, if it’s available as a special! Of course we couldn’t decide on just one dessert, so we sampled three; the Blue Cheese Cake was surprisingly light, the Margarita Sorbet was like a scoop of refreshing frozen margarita, and the ice cream was like a dish of homemade creamy goodness! If you are only dining out one night in New Orleans and want to avoid the crowds and chaos of the French Quarter, choose Atchafalaya Restaurant. It’s Rustic Charm, Garden District location and exquisite cuisine will indulge all the senses and leave you with fond memories long after you’ve licked the last plate clean!
Excellent service, food was on point. One of the better Coolinary menus in town. Overall great dinner.
Incredible food and service!!! Will be back!!
My wife and I very much enjoyed our time at Atchafalaya, very tasty breakfast selection and we enjoyed how all the servers in the restaurant assist each table instead of just the server they assign at the beginning.
Incredible food and experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Brunch was fantastic!
Deviled eggs, blue crab ravioli, & whipped ricotta were all equally delicious apps. Shrimp n grits were the table favorite!
All of the staff was masked. Tables were socially distanced. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal! I got the redfish plate and my partner got the shrimp and grits.
The ambiance was amazing. It was a beautiful Saturday night. The staff was welcoming & attentive. The food was fresh and fulfilling.
