Was just what the doctor ordered. I spent a good while on open table, sifting through. It was our 12 year anniversary. We love uptown the most, so, something new with regular tables. Not sitting in someone else’s lap. Off the regular path.
We had a few apps. Oysters stood out, the fish was cooked good and pork chop was great.
The note worthy was the amazing blue cheese flan. Flipping awesome. We bought two more to go. Thanks again!
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I appreciate that they were all mindful of social distancing! The cocktails were divine and the food was delicious!
food was wonderful , what a treat! would definitely recommend to locals or visitors
The meal was supposed to come with a biscuit and dessert, which were not brought to the table.
Anniversary Brunch 28 years! Rachael and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful on selection of our dish and food was excellent! We love this restaurant...
popped in for sunday brunch. slimmed down menu but awesome food as usual. bloody mary fantastic! service solid as always.
The best from the minute we walked in the door!!
My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and we had a wonderful meal! The staff was wonderful and made us feel like VIPs.
Out of 3 team servers for the table, 2 we’re fantastic! Food was delicious! Would recommend this place to friends.
The food was great, I guess. Really the terrible service took over my entire experience of the restaurant. It was a guy with gray salt and pepper hair and he was really rude.
We loved Atchafalaya!! The food was outstanding and the staff was so friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was so cool. It is a traditional New Orleans house turned into the quaintest restaurant. It is also in a residential area, surrounded by so many pretty houses. I definitely recommend this restaurant when in New Orleans.
Beautiful setting, family oriented, very informative staff.
We got in right at the time of our reservation but then waited over an hour for food. The food was good, but not good enough to justify the wait. The waiter was very nice and I don't know if it was just a slow kitchen or what, but I don't think we would go back.
Great meal, nice vibe and excellent service. You bet I’d do it again.
Amazing food and our waiter was the best.
We have dined here several times. Really love the brunch menu. Have never had a bad experience. Whenever we visit New Orleans we make a point to eat at Atchafalaya.
The food was outstanding and the service was on point. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.
Amazing food and huge portions. Definitely one of the best brunch spots in NOLA
Excellent! Highly recommend
The Bloody Mary bar at brunch was outstanding.
Been here 4 times each for a special occasion or for the jazz brunch ! Amazing food, amazing staff if you can go to the jazz brunch do it ! The Bloody Mary bar is fantastic!
Food was an inspiration. The blue cheese flan left me speechless.
Due to the band, the space is very loud for brunch, especially if you have older diners in your party. Service was mediocre – – our server seemed like he didn’t want to be there which certainly lessened our enjoyment. Nonetheless, the bloody Mary bar is fun and food is solid.
Great food, great service and we loved the Bloody Mary bar 😀
The food was outstanding. Interesting and delicious. I thought that I didn’t like grits until I tasted the shrimp and grits.
I wish I lived nearby.
Run don’t walk to this gem of a restaurant, crazy delicious!
I would come back to New Orleans just to eat the Duck Hash. Our server, Justin, was charismatic and hospitable. The Bloody Mary bar had everything you could dream of and their house made mixes were delicious! I recommend a reservation because there was a line for brunch. our group was happy to have a reservation and to be seated right away.
From start to finish, this was an amazing and wonderful experience. The owner greeted us at the door, he had a great sense of humor, and welcomed us after he discovered it was our first time there. The waiter, Leven, paid attention to everything, and I mean everything. He was approachable, personable, informative, and he went the extra step or two to make everything right. He suggested great wine, he gave us the lowdown on the meals, helped us each choose something that we thought we would like, and Suggested a wonderful dessert. Bravo!!
Simply my favorite place to eat in Mew Orleans. Yes, there are fancier, more elegant places to dine. But the menu is always well thought put, the staff professional and the cocktails are spot on. Their brunch with bloody mary bar is exceptional as well. Location in the Garden District away from the frenzy of downtown and the Quarter and off the trolley line and St Charles allows one to enjoy the real New Orleans.
Six of us were out for a business meeting and I was not sure of the dietary needs of everyone and was a little scared when I made these reservations. It turned out being amazing and everyone had a wonderful meal and experience. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The restaurant was awesome only to be outdone by the deliciousness of the food. We had the kung pao alligator and it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service was top notch and the entire staff were very attentive.
Second time here- so good!
Fabulous food, cozy/relaxing atmosphere, and attentive wait staff - we couldn't have asked for a better experience! I'm still dreaming about the chicken dish.
Exceptional in every way. Service, food, live music. Great place for brunch!
Solid food. Service was very good. Decor and ambiance was beautiful.
Food was cold.
Food was superb, worth going out of your way to try this excellent place.
Have been coming here many years. Always a wonderful experience with a great menu!
Having dinner out during Mardi Gras? I wasn’t sure it would work, but it did. We got reservations easily at Atchafalaya, one of our favorite places to take out of town guests...or for birthdays...or if we want excellent food, drinks and service.
I can’t really say more than everything was great and we’ll be back. I hand the roast chicken, my fiancée had tuna confit and our company had the steak. Everyone was happy and well fed.
The only downside was that they hold your doggie bag at the hostess station. We forgot ours 🥺
