Meal and service were excellent! Dined outside and Leaven (Sp) our waiter did a great job and the oyster appetizer, shrimp and grits, mushroom entrees were some of the best we’ve had. Will definitely go back!
Dinner for my wife's birthday...after not being back to Atchafalaya for a few years, we were so pleased (and wondering why we took so long getting back) with our evening... From the delicious appetizers, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, blue crab raviolo, tuna crude, to the entrees of pork chop, grouper, tuna and shrimp&grits, to the delectable bread pudding, the meal was a delight for us all. It was great to see a wonderful restaurant exceed our expectations, especially after COVD...great staff, great ambiance, and of course great food, made this a glorious experience. Thank y'all.
Amazing food as always and exceptional service. Order the Crab Ravioli! You won’t be disappointed! One of my favorite places to dine. Never disappoints!

Gumbo was just OK. Goat cheese salad with strawberries was outstanding. Chicken and waffles were good, but way too much breading on the chicken. Potions enormous. Totally disappointing we’re the blueberry hand pies. The pie crust overwhelmed the blueberry filling. Taste of blueberries was absent. It blows me away that those in charge would even put this item on the menu. It was that bad. Well be back, but not for the chicken or the hand pies.
Service was fantastic seamless and fluid. Excellent food . Loved the uniqueness of the restaurant decor . Staff and owner went out of their way to make my husbands birthday dinner memorable

We sat outside - so take that into account - but everything was great. Waiter was wonderful and had some good recommendations. it was a fun night!!

WE had a great meal with very good service, but the music was much too loud.
Lovely place. Fried green tomatoes were lightly breaded, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The remoulade sauce was sweet and tangy. The greens added a nice crunch. My husband shared his Brussel sprouts which were delicious. They included goat cheese, which I don't always like, but this cheese was creamy and delicious. Staff were warm and fun. I highly recommend.
Good quality ingredients, however much of the food was a bit bland and under-seasoned. Glad we gave it a try but it won’t be on our list of places to visit again with so many other quality restaurants in the city.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, if your in New Orleans I absolutely reccomend eating here at least one night! The food is very pricey but you get what you pay for and more! I think everyone should experience this restaurant at least once for a full New Orleans experience.

Food was very good. Three of us at our table ordered the pork chop and it was a bit over cooked but it was still very good. Our server, Sylvia was awesome. They actually called us earlier to notify us that our table was ready. That was nice. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had been to Atchafalaya for a great brunch in the past, but never dinner. We weren’t sure what to expect from a restaurant we considered a “brunch place”, and so we were quite pleased to find that in the evening the restaurant manages to transform into a nice combination of city chic bistro and romantic hideaway.
We had the baked oysters as an appetizer. Delicious, but tough to split as an appetizer for two, as it comes as three oysters. One would think restaurants would know to make an appetizer splittable but a dining couple. It is also a bit expensive for three oysters. We proceeded to share a nice negroamaro with our entrees, the quail and the pork chop. Both were sensational.
We rounded the meal off with an espresso and a lemon sorbet.
The food was high quality and, with the exception of the appetizer, well priced.
Service was spotty and food was good but ordinary. Mostly the trouble was that the waiter was not COVID compliant- touched food while serving it, moved mask, just sub par service. Heard it was the best brunch in town— Maybe for tourists- but not for any one who knows better.
