What a horrible brunch I had on a Sunday. Honestly, the moment we entered and left the restaurant nothing was great.
When we entered there was only 3 tables occupied and Nurul sat us and told us ‘ we will serve you whatever food we give you ‘ and that’s all. No drinks was offered nothing was briefed.
The food was uncooked and when we mention to waitress, manager didn’t bothered to follow up and gave us some reason that it is how it is. Oysters had sand inside.
The girls who sat opposite us had to kept getting the waitress’s attention to one point where they had to shout for attention. Short of staff as well.
My husband kept compliant and yet still while I’m typing this as I invited him. He also could not stand it anymore he left even the dessert came.
I came with no expectation. thank god! Or Else I would have long time ago spoke out at the restaurant.
Not all the food is as per the menus. But we are fine with it. At least it gave us surprises. Shortage of staffs I suppose as we find it difficult to get the waiters to come over as they are so busy. Lamb, desserts, bario rice, oysters are superb. The rest is just fine.
Best Iftar dinner I had in KL - very tasty and authentic food - highly recommended
The food presentation was absolutely beautiful but the taste of the food was not really a surprise, I did enjoy the seafood platter. There is one thing that I disliked the fact that one of the workers got my order for my beverage wrong.
Food many. Food good. Dessert better. Just go. Yes Yes.
It would b nice got satay chicken n beef. I believe many of us miss that a lot.
An immaculately designed restaurant which has a very good ambience, and posh decor.
Really great Sunday brunch at really affordable price! Starters and desserts are buffet style whilst mains are served on the table. Unfortunately no freeflow of alcohol option however, you can order wine by the bottle at a reasonable price. Overall, great experience. Would definitely visit again especially before the CIMB card promotion ends.
Unfortunately the oysters served were not fresh. One particular oyster smelt bad. A friend of mine had an upset tummy after eating the oyster.
We enjoyed the pasta dish, the beef and the fish. The chicken dishes were a little bland. Your desserts were delicious, especially the panna cotta
Nice food and good service. Value for money. All the food on the menu also worth to try.
food was great but some of main dishes were rather cold. Also quantity of food was too much.
Everything was perfect, the only downsize was, there were only 2 or 3 serving staff during the first 30-45 minutes causing slight delayed to food serving to some tables. But overall was good experience. 40% off using CIMB card was a surprise and thank you to the staff who mentioned to me about this promotion.
Duck and beef slightly over cooked bur other Food overall not bad
Value for the price
overall nice experience. Food quality good for buffet standard
Didnt know they changed the menu. Felt it wasnt as good as the previous choices. Still undecided if I will go again, worried the next menu might not go well with me. Also oysters were miserable this round.
Food while nicely presented was rather tasteless (eg. oysters, shrimp, mussels). Appears not enough importance is given to the selection of fresh seafood.
Not a single dish was “melt in your mouth” delicious or good enough to tempt you to return
I was looking forward to their 6 course atas journey menu but was disappointed to find they had replaced it with the 2 year anniversary truffle during my visit. The food was value for money and taste was good. The waiting time between courses was just slightly longer than expected. And service was acceptable.
The food is good and we experienced excellent service from Nurul who served us.
The only downside was the high level of noise from a party of 8 near our table.
Otherwise, it would have been a most excellent dining experience
Noise level was far too high. Food was great, 4th course was mediocre at best. Overall, the entire dinner was extremely valuable to the price I paid.
Went there for a celebratory lunch, tried their lunch set menu and chose the smoked duck and it was really good. Was also a good deal if you pay with a cimb acc because you can get 40% off. All the servers were very attentive and feel immediately welcome. Beautiful hotel and will definitely come again to try their dinner.
Every single dish was well cooked with creativity, and the food was well timed to be served. highly reccomended
Great food, wonderful service, fantastic experience. Would really recommend, thank you for a wonderful time!
Everything was perfect except the portion size was minute. We ordered the 6 Course Atas Journey Set & upgraded our set with the prawn/Wagyu Beef.
I need to leave a restaurant feeling full.
Food started off strong and good, but the mains of the 6 course were a bit on the plain side. The starters were beautifully executed and the charred prawns were perfect. Price wise, may have been quite high for the items and ambiance if without discount (CIMB or in-house guest). Would still recommend though. So props to the chef.
However, service was quite lacking and i felt like i was being rushed. Staff were also often speaking loudly to each other, which made the ambience feel like a diner. Also, beware of the chargeable tea/coffee that's offered after the tasting menu.
Definitely will visit again due to the good food and environment
Starters - Amazing
Mains- Needs Improvement
Desserts - Amazing
Overall- This place need to work on the mains, there are quite a few dishes that are not very tasty. If not for the CIMB Discount, i would give a very bad review for the mains, the rest are okay. Ambience and Service is good.
The overall dining experience was really good. A quiet place to dine in and the ambience made us very comfortable and relaxed. Its a very good place to enjoy the nice food and have a good conversation to connect with each other. Highly recommended for those who are looking for quality food and times with your loved ones.
its amazing restaurant ,the food is really delicious ,will come back for sure .
Overall is good but did not meet my high expectations.
Really enjoyed our set lunch using local ingredients with a twist; Winnie was excellent. A fabulous afternoon.
We have had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect: the staff was beyond great, the food absolutely delicious, and we just felt “worry-free” for a while... away from the current crisis stress! A great escape to recharge the body and the soul!
My second time at Atas and this time my taste buds was elevated than my 1st visit. Had the tasting menu, the taste of every dish was divine with every bite bursting into flavours. Finish off with the heavenly Pahang Single Chocolate. The service was excellent from the waiting staff
Food was good and creative. Kudos to the chef. Ambience was not great. Lighting was too bright. Waiters were not trained to explain the food . But value for the food was good.
The fusion of food was simply amazing, service was excellent and attentive. Bell was informative and we felt welcome. Will sure return again
It was perfect except for the noise as there are people with birthday celebration behind our table and they are quite noisy. Was hoping to get more private table/space as the ambience is good for private dinner.
Loved that the staff there were all well-trained, efficient, and overall pleasant to deal with. Food wise, the starters were ace, some of the mains and desserts could have been better. Otherwise, a pleasant experience :)
Service impeccable. Has generally been quiet ambience place but even better now with SOP requirements of less diners. Each course may look delicate in portion but very well done and collectively sufficient as a 3 course.
Love the place and the service is good. the food is good too. Recommended
The Services was slow, food took too long to be served
Not an extensive range of dishes but everything cooked and presented perfectly. Will definitely return for more!
