The food is amazing! Every single course was made to perfection. The best chefs around!
The food was so delicious and chef and the service were superb! We enjoyed every moment at the restaurant and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back and looking forward to trying different dishes next time!
A spectacular Sunday Supper to celebrate my nephew’s birthday & graduation from culinary school. At The Table was his special request and it didn’t disappoint. Chef Alex gave us personalized attention which was lovely. The courses were paced just right. Had the Wagyu A5 which was to die for. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent, varied, delicious and exotic 6-course menu, beautiful presentation, precision timing between courses and impeccable service. We have not stopped raving about our evening!
Dinner was phenomenal! I highly recommend this restaurant! From the chefs to the staff everyone is just so friendly. I would come here every week if I could! The food at this restaurant is beyond amazing! We will be back soon!
The Best restaurant in Berwyn area!!
I love it...
At The Table, a BYOB is surely an exception and is exceptional!!
My girlfriend and I went to At The Table in Wayne. It was my second time there and it was even better than I remembered. Its a small restaurant with seating for 24 if I had to guess with First Class service and hyper-attention to the details. Chefs and owners Tara and Alex offer you a choice of either a 3 or 6-course Tasting Menu. My partner and I each chose the 6-course and we each ordered different plates so we could try everything. It was an amazing, decadent experience from beginning to end. I'll list a few of the dishes we were able to experience: a Mushroom Toast [WOW]; Butternut Squash soup [exceptional]; Winter vegetables w/ Maitake mushroom, pearled onion and a bed of fresh Ricotta. The chefs also served us a plate of oysters and a plating of escargot. While my partner is still cringing about eating 'a snail' I found it delicious with a wonderful texture and highlighted by a delicious sauce that complemented the dish so nicely. Two small-plate pasta choices: one was an exceptional Mushroom Ravioli and the second was also a house-made pasta with clams and seafood in a delicate but rich sauce with a nice punch of some heat. I chose the chef's Japanese Wagyu special. I had never had Wagyu; it was cooked perfectly and harmonized so nicely with his special sauce and granola crumble. My partner had the Cod. It was awesome and I enjoyed my tasting when cod is not a fish I typically enjoy. Dinner concluded with coffee and a choice of Bananas Foster or a mini cheesecake. Wonderful sweetness and a finish to our decadent evening out. It was all delicious as the food was well incorporated into an exceptional dining experience with plenty of food; great service [Thank you Ben!] in a lovely quiet dining room setting with a nice playlist of music in the background. Thank you, your passion for creating, cooking and serving your guests is undeniable!
Best restaurant around Villanova.
So here is the deal, this place is just out of this world. All I can say is try the A5 Japanese Wagyu. My mind is blown... Wayne are you hearing me?? Go now!!
Chef’s Alex and Tara... thank you for bringing this food to this area. Michelin Star for you guys!!
Best food on mainline!
Great food so-so service. Who allows a table of approximately 14 people in a place that holds about 26-30 people. For the first 45-60 minutes of our meal - we could barely have a conversation as the group was too loud and no one from the staff asked them to quiet down. Also because of this large and rowdy group my main reservation request went unheeded. Please do not sit us near a restroom- where were we sat?? You guessed it ....
On to food .... our meal was great. I love the tasting menu and to have a choice for every course helps when you might not like oysters or root veggies. I tried skate cheeks for the first time and they were awesome. Everything from the mushroom toast to the chocolate pot de creme was delicious. The chef came out to chat with us which I appreciated.
I look forward to coming back here to enjoy another good meal and hopefully, next time, some good conversation.
Food was excellent. Small place. Only seats 15 people total. The only negative for me that night was there were two parties of six drinking a lot of wine. They got very loud. It was hard for my wife and I hear each other from across the table. The tasting menu was delicious and well thought out. Excellent food. Will return.
ALWAYS a good time. Been a few times before, in various seasons, and it’s fun to experience the whim of the chef with currently available ingredients on the market. This is also certainly the finest dining in Wayne. Or even in the greater King of Prussia/Main Line region. Center City has a few restaurants at this level, but we are lucky to have At The Table in our neighborhood.
Perfectly executed, beautiful thoughtful cuisine. Chefs Alex and Tara really bring fine dining to the main line with their undeniably delicious tasting menu. Not only was the service excellent but I was treated with a couple extra items specifically the cheese course right before dessert. Chef Alex came out to say hello, which of course is a great touch. Thank you for the complimentary wine since I forgot to bring mine.
Food is superb. Service was perfectly timed and appropriate. Attention to detail on every course is exquisite. The melding of flavors and textures is magical!
We had the most AMAZING 6 course dinner! Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! You MUST and I will insist you get the foil gras! Absolutely delicious!!
We always enjoy meals here very much! They accommodated a vegetarian in my group very well. Small tasting menu had great choices for us. Worth the higher price. Food is great!
The food was absolutely amazing. Boat loads of flavor in every bite. It was pricey but the layers of flavor definitely made it worth it. I'll definitely be dining here again.
Highly, highly recommend for a nice meal! Great for special occasions and foodies everywhere. This was a hidden gem for sure!
Looking for a new BYO choice in the suburbs for New Years Eve I found At The Table....read the reviews and took a chance. With 2 choices for almost every course, we were able to try 8 of the chefs creations, some we are still talking about a day later. We will be back to try their regular tasting menu soon!
Always first class food!
The food here was fantastic and we enjoyed everything throughout each course. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant, and the dining room, is small. A single party of 5 or 6 people who are "lively" can quickly turn the restaurant into a loud place and hence not conducive for a couple looking for a quiet evening dinner. Other than this unpredictable nature of the restaurant, the food and service are outstanding.
Most dishes were great, some just ok, but that is expected.
This was our 5th visit and we brought good friends who eat out a lot and they loved it as well. Chef Alex makes it even more special with his table side visits
My wife and I came here for the first time and we were wowed! The level of the food quality, preparation, and presentation were much higher than any restaurant experience in recent memory. Actually it reminded me of the best dinner I had in my whole life, which was a a chateau in France. Service was attentive and good-natured. We had the six course dinner for $85 each. Kind of a splurge for us but worth it.
Great food, but a little pricey. Can choose from 2 prix fixe menus and some creative options. I think their menus during the week are little less pricey, so good to go then to try them out.
Such an incredible meal! Chef came out to tell us about each course and they were all fabulous. BYOB makes it affordable. Could not have been better.
We have reviewed At The Table several times and every time it's the same: this is a truly outstanding restaurant committed to the customer experience. The food is artfully prepared with enthusiasm. Our server Isaac--who we've had before--is professional and personable. One of our favorite places in all of Philly!
Hosted a company event. At the Table were extremely accommodating and helpful with finding the perfect solution for a menu for us. They were understanding when numbers changed last minute.
The menu was superb. Every choice on the menu was fantastic and it was difficult choosing. The service excellent, professional and yet warm.
The portions are more than generous so my only regret was that I simply could not eat more. Will definitely be back
Fantastic meal from start to finish. Excellent service and even better food.. come for the 8 course, stay for the entertainment..
Our third visit to this neighborhood byo, which seems to get better with every visit. Impeccable service, creative and delicious food, courses reasonably paced and beautifully presented. Not cheap, but good value for what you get.
I was surprised to find that the restaurant has changed to a fixed menu at $85 per person. Frankly, the value was not worth it.
Don't wait another minute to book your reservation to At The Table. This romantic gem is ideally located just off the main drag in Wayne, and brings everything you could wish for on a trip to NAPA (say, dinner at French Laundry?) straight to a table in the heart of the Main Line.
The tasting menu is sublime, full of flavors that surprise and delight. The service is warm, friendly and authentic. While by no means inexpensive, the fact that you can bring your own wine makes this night out the best value in Philadelphia.
This was our second time dining here. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated promptly. Our service was great! The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and went out of his way to explain everything on the menu. The food was excellent. The chefs attention to detail was evident by how all ingredients on the plate complemented each other perfectly. Each plate looked very elegant. The oysters are to die for. The venison was cooked to perfection, the poivrade sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful and a great complement to a perfectly cooked piece of meat. We’re so happy we found this gem and do not have to travel to the city for fantastic food. Highly recommend!
I went to dinner this week with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday. I had the Chef's deluxe tasting menu and the other 2 had the regular tasting menu. Everything was incredible!! Dinner was expensive but worth every penny spent. The food was great and our server was wonderful.
Everything was amazing, food cooked and plated perfectly, service was on par with perfection and detailed to a Michelin extreme. Easily the best restaurant in Philadelphia and or the suburbs. Chef Alex and Chef Tara have created nothing short of a masterpiece. Congratulations to you two.. we will be back soon
Loved every minute and every dish- super personable service and can’t wait to go back!
I'm sad to write this review, as our previous visit to At The Table was great. Something was definitely off this time. Our server seemed "out of it". Once we were seated, she went about moving tables and chairs around and wandering about. We asked for champagne flutes, and after the second request another server brought them over. By this time my husband had opened the champagne himself. Our server then came over to ask if we had ever dined there, yes we answered. She went through the different tasting menus, item by item, then asked what our preference of water was. 10 minutes go by, the server comes back to our table and goes through the whole spiel again, word for word! She had no recollection of coming to our table. My husband and I looked at each other, and looked around thinking someone was pulling a gag on us! So now, we are about to order, still no water on the table. We considered walking out, but had just opened a nice bottle of champagne that we couldn't cork. So we order. By this time, the other two servers and Chef Alex are busy trying to get a handle on the dining room. Our meal was served to us by the other servers, but they seemed confused as to what order our dishes were coming out. We got one dish twice, and we told the server that we had already been served that dish. He wisked it away. Then chef Alex came over to ask if we had had the second course, we were on the fourth. Things just kept getting more weird. At this point we just wanted to finish the meal and leave. As we are having dessert, the original server asks if we want coffee or tea. We said no, we will just take the check. She then repeats, "Are you SURE you don't want coffee or tea?? I doesn't cost you anything more!" Yikes,no thank you. After bringing the check, she comes over and says, "I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but we are cash only". From our previous visit we knew to have cash, but I thought cards were accepted now. Nothing on the website about cash.
