Great food, but a little pricey. Can choose from 2 prix fixe menus and some creative options. I think their menus during the week are little less pricey, so good to go then to try them out.
Such an incredible meal! Chef came out to tell us about each course and they were all fabulous. BYOB makes it affordable. Could not have been better.
We have reviewed At The Table several times and every time it's the same: this is a truly outstanding restaurant committed to the customer experience. The food is artfully prepared with enthusiasm. Our server Isaac--who we've had before--is professional and personable. One of our favorite places in all of Philly!
Hosted a company event. At the Table were extremely accommodating and helpful with finding the perfect solution for a menu for us. They were understanding when numbers changed last minute.
The menu was superb. Every choice on the menu was fantastic and it was difficult choosing. The service excellent, professional and yet warm.
The portions are more than generous so my only regret was that I simply could not eat more. Will definitely be back
Fantastic meal from start to finish. Excellent service and even better food.. come for the 8 course, stay for the entertainment..
Our third visit to this neighborhood byo, which seems to get better with every visit. Impeccable service, creative and delicious food, courses reasonably paced and beautifully presented. Not cheap, but good value for what you get.
I was surprised to find that the restaurant has changed to a fixed menu at $85 per person. Frankly, the value was not worth it.
Don't wait another minute to book your reservation to At The Table. This romantic gem is ideally located just off the main drag in Wayne, and brings everything you could wish for on a trip to NAPA (say, dinner at French Laundry?) straight to a table in the heart of the Main Line.
The tasting menu is sublime, full of flavors that surprise and delight. The service is warm, friendly and authentic. While by no means inexpensive, the fact that you can bring your own wine makes this night out the best value in Philadelphia.
This was our second time dining here. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated promptly. Our service was great! The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and went out of his way to explain everything on the menu. The food was excellent. The chefs attention to detail was evident by how all ingredients on the plate complemented each other perfectly. Each plate looked very elegant. The oysters are to die for. The venison was cooked to perfection, the poivrade sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful and a great complement to a perfectly cooked piece of meat. We’re so happy we found this gem and do not have to travel to the city for fantastic food. Highly recommend!
I went to dinner this week with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday. I had the Chef's deluxe tasting menu and the other 2 had the regular tasting menu. Everything was incredible!! Dinner was expensive but worth every penny spent. The food was great and our server was wonderful.
Everything was amazing, food cooked and plated perfectly, service was on par with perfection and detailed to a Michelin extreme. Easily the best restaurant in Philadelphia and or the suburbs. Chef Alex and Chef Tara have created nothing short of a masterpiece. Congratulations to you two.. we will be back soon
Loved every minute and every dish- super personable service and can’t wait to go back!
I'm sad to write this review, as our previous visit to At The Table was great. Something was definitely off this time. Our server seemed "out of it". Once we were seated, she went about moving tables and chairs around and wandering about. We asked for champagne flutes, and after the second request another server brought them over. By this time my husband had opened the champagne himself. Our server then came over to ask if we had ever dined there, yes we answered. She went through the different tasting menus, item by item, then asked what our preference of water was. 10 minutes go by, the server comes back to our table and goes through the whole spiel again, word for word! She had no recollection of coming to our table. My husband and I looked at each other, and looked around thinking someone was pulling a gag on us! So now, we are about to order, still no water on the table. We considered walking out, but had just opened a nice bottle of champagne that we couldn't cork. So we order. By this time, the other two servers and Chef Alex are busy trying to get a handle on the dining room. Our meal was served to us by the other servers, but they seemed confused as to what order our dishes were coming out. We got one dish twice, and we told the server that we had already been served that dish. He wisked it away. Then chef Alex came over to ask if we had had the second course, we were on the fourth. Things just kept getting more weird. At this point we just wanted to finish the meal and leave. As we are having dessert, the original server asks if we want coffee or tea. We said no, we will just take the check. She then repeats, "Are you SURE you don't want coffee or tea?? I doesn't cost you anything more!" Yikes,no thank you. After bringing the check, she comes over and says, "I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but we are cash only". From our previous visit we knew to have cash, but I thought cards were accepted now. Nothing on the website about cash.
Amazing food, best meal ive ever had. Will be going again for each new seasonal menu. Perfect for a special occasion.
It is very pricy. And the dining area is small, so noise from louder tables travel. Still worth it, though.
This chef is a genius. Like eating at Danielle in nyc fir the price of parking. Ridiculous food
At the Table has evolved into one of the best tasting menus on the Main Line. The eight-course menu ($105) is filled with outstanding touches--on the day we ate there were oysters, foie gras, caviar, bay scallops, diver scallops, and venison--can I add "oh my!!" Adrienne has complete control of the front of the house and has an outstanding staff. The open kitchen is wonderful because you can see how much fun is being had in food creation. From top to bottom this has become one of our favorite restaurants.
Seats about 30 people. Ambiance is scarce. Unique tasting menu. A table of 10 was there on a Sunday night and they were very drunk and loud. They dampened our experience. The tasting menu was very good but way too expensive. We spent $100 per person and they didn’t even serve bread! It was a unique experience but we wouldn’t go there regularly.
Truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to go back.
Dinner is always amazing here - we've eaten here 7-8 times and every time it's been delicious. The food is beautifully plated/presented with perfect service. We appreciate that it's byob and the noise level is low. We highly recommend - we think it's the best restaurant in the western suburbs.
A very impressive option in Wayne, PA. Relatively expensive for the area, but the food was definitely worth it. It’s a tasting menu only, but generally with 2 choices for each course. The oysters we incredible, the fois gras torchon about as good as I’ve had, and every course was delicious. The fact that it’s BYOB makes it even better. Overall I’d say Michelin star quality. I’m definitely going back and hope it’s as good the second time.
Over all dinner was good, I would recommend it to anyone. Food is some of the best in Wayne.
Not crazy about the 3 & 6 course only options. I get that you can’t afford to run a restaurant if people don’t come in and spend enough, I just don’t like being forced into buying more food than I really want, so this is a hard one for me. Also not crazy about the cash only, but I live the food. I will be back, just maybe not as often.
The choices in the rafting menu were excellent. Great BYOB option for a dorcial occasion.
At the Table never disappoints. So creative and interesting menu. Alex and Tara create powerful, complex flavor combinations. Service is attentive and polite. Casual, fun atmosphere to enjoy 5 star food.
Food was very good; service was very friendly. We opted for 3 course menu. Biggest complaint is portion size, and we are not big eaters. We were told the 3 course menu had larger portions. Tile fish was tasty, flaky, and moderate portion - maybe 5-6 oz. Partner had "rack of lamb" with ONE CHOP - no more than 4 oz! really for $55? probably won't go back.
Excellent dining experience. We ate every course on the menu and wished there were more.
At The Table was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend! Chef Alex is very talented!! Our 8 course menu was amazing! Will be back soon!
Excellent pacing of the good. Good portions. Overall amazing. Would highly recommend this gem in Wayne
I brought my girlfriend here on a spur of the moment after looking at the reviews we decided this was our place tonight! Everything was amazing! The Clam Chowder is so aromatic! And they even pour the chowder Table side! And the squab sauce was out of this world packed with flavor! The lamb!!!!! Seared perfectly with such a nice crust! Even the dessert was beautiful! A rose apple tart with raspberry sorbet!!!! We’re definitely going to be back real soon!
We attended a special tasting menu with chef Jason Hook. What a treat!
Jason created an incredible six course meal where every single dish was outstanding. Pumpkin-seed crusted sweet bread, duck confit tortellini, foie butter on toast, Lancaster-raise squab... we were blown away. We actually got Jason and his crew to sign the menu and plan to have it framed.
Alex, the chef, continues to inspire. Having a guest chef was a creative idea that was expertly executed. We will keep returning to At The Table.
Amazing all around!!
We had heard things about this restaurant but it was almost too hard to believe considering it wasn’t in the city but man, are we blown away. First and foremost, if you do not like food this is not your type of place. However, if you enjoy an intimate and very romantic dinner with your loved one then this is THE premiere destination. Located on the corner of Louella court this hidden gem is almost too good. The chefs are kind and very sweet and get this that beautiful girl who you called the owner, well that woman is the one also searing your fish!!! (My wife didn’t believe me). 6 courses of nothing but incredible flavors and omg are those truffles on the tortellini incredible or what. Fun fact: At The Table BYOB has been open since 2016 and I’m afraid that’s if it keeps going this way, that hidden gem may almost be too impossible to get into. Diners: get here now and if you are really nice to the chef, they may put you on the VIP list so you always have a spot... thank you for the spot on details, the glass of champagne and the most amazing meal I have had since ... well as I told you in person “The French Laundry”
It is a prefixed meal. The size and food was fine but a lot of cream. My problem was that the whole time that we ate ,the a/c shot down on us making us and our food cold The waitress tried her hardiest to remedy the problem but without much success.
The noise level due to a small room made speaking and hearing very difficult.
Wayne, PA, has already earned a reputation for many excellent dining experiences but At the Table raises the bar to a whole new level! It looks like a small, local restaurant you would find on the Isle Saint-Louis in Paris and the cuisine is as imaginative and exciting as any you would find in New York or Paris. This is a must-do destination for any foodie within 100 miles!
We love this place! Terrific plates top to bottom throughout the menu. I think it’s the best BYO in the western suburbs.
I have been to At The Table before I can’t remember the service taking as long as it did Saturday. The entire meal from sitting down to leaving was 3 hours? There are 6 courses, you have a choice of 2-3 per choice which leads me to believe each course should not take to long to prepare? My main course, Duck, was cold, the flavors were out of this world. Since I do love the different selection of excellent food I will go back for sure and recommend others to try it. I am writing g this review because of the length of the meal and the temp on my main course.
Do try it, it is worth the experience.
Our first time at At the Table did not disappoint! We went on a Saturday evening and it was a 6 course chef's tasting menu. With each course there was a choice of 2-3 options. The food was amazing and each dish looked like a work of art. The restaurant is on the smaller size and intimate, and everyone who works there was friendly and very accommodating. I've pictured below the cauliflower steak with tahini dressing, crushed peanuts and pickled jalapeno -- soooo delicious (this was my third course)!
Excellent cuisine in a side street in Wayne, PA We had the six course prix fixe which was outstanding. It was spaced out between courses so that we didn't get 'stuffed' and could enjoy the varied taste sensations. This is a fine dining venue at the highest level.
Creative menu, beautifully executed, with personalized service. A neighborhood gem.
At The Table is as good as it gets! Atmosphere pleasant, food is creative, pleasing to the eye and delightful to the palette. Highly recommended for anyone who is a "foodie", and BYOB offering is another positive. Chef is personable and takes the time to meet and greet his guests - another strong plus. We look forward to returning.
