The food was absolutely delicious. Nice ambiance, great service, especially if you go early. Will definitely go again.
An excellent find in Wayne...every course was delicious....very knowledgeable about the ingredients and techniques used to prepare the food...will try the tasting menu on my next visit...
excellent in all areas. would recommend highly. top choice
Outstanding, beautiful, decadent and delicious. I’m all about this restaurant. They never seem to take a step back, when you think nothing can get better, just wait for that second course. Or third or fourth or fifth..
We had a lovely dining experience at At the Table. We sat outdoors on a perfect evening on a beautiful porch. The food was yummy and well presented. We met Alex the Executive Chef. He was charming. They were short staffed so the service was not perfect like the meal itself.
A bit noisy due to the small space and close tables, but otherwise outstanding.
We always enjoy dining AT THE TABLE! Always recommend to our friends too. The chefs are *amazing*!
Excited expectations the second time around. I was sorry to see the mushroom toast go, but was happily surprised by the new toast. (Dine to find out) The scallop dish was out of this world and hit every note. I loved the burrata with the fried tomato and was a solid end of summer dish. I love the constant surprises you'll find at At The Table BYOB
Came on a whim, magical, exceptional and delightful. We were the first people to try the new toast and wow was it special. Guests are in for a treat! We had the a la carte menu (chef Tara’s side) and it was amazing
The property was smaller than what it indicated online. In the beginning it started out very nice. We could order a la carte, or do the pre-fix menu. My wife and I both chose the pre-fix, it sounded more adventurous, and on the menu it state, “trust the chef”.....So we did.. First course was very nice, I had the eggs with truffle and caviar. Wonderful flavor!! My wife had off the pre-fix, because she does not like oysters or the deviled eggs. Which they were very nice to switch to mushroom avocado toast. The to keep a long story short, it went down hell from there. My entree was sent back cold two times. Then the chef took over and got it pretty close to good. I have the duck breast. It was OK. Of all the courses the desert was the best. For the price it was not worth it. However I would give it one more chance. I use to live in So. Sonoma and never had a meal as bad as this, especially for the cost of the dinner. I know they can do better.
Outstanding food on the Main Line. A must try. Whether you order the tasting menu or go a la carte, you will assured an excellent meal.
Food is terrific! Perhaps a little pricey for what you get, but mitigated by being a BYOB. The food and experience were outstanding.
First time we dined here. Food was superb! The staff was attentive and helpful in allowing us some flexibility with our order. Alex came out of kitchen and was very engaging and friendly.
We would definitely recommend eating here. The food was outstanding!! The service was also very good and Chef Alex came out to chat with us and the other diners.
We had the local mushroom toast, which I HIGHLY recommend, if they are still making it. It was amazing! We also had the grilled octopus, which was VERY good!
Added bonus, it is a BYOB, so we are going to come back with our wine group!
I love this place. Both chef/owners always check every table and I love sharing a new wine with them. Always fantastic food! Wonderful little space with more tables that have been comfortibly added!
Fantastic Sunday Supper. Chef sent out a duck dish on the house that was absolutely fantastic. Our entree’s were to die for and oh my god that lobster bisque was out of this world. Very nice to meet both chef Alex and Tara! Such extraordinary people with incredible talent and undeniable passion... great to see how successful they have become.
Menu was SUPERB tonight - every course more delicious than the last. Service impeccable too. Well done!!
The most amazing evening with the most divine food. Tara and Alex certainly know how to go to extra mile. They combine exquisite unique foods to completely delight the pallet. My favorite place.
Up charges on the tasting menu are ridiculous. The service was wonderful and the food was good. Not worth the price for what you get.
Very nice dining experience! The food was excellent and we enjoyed new items, or preparations of, that we never had before. We did not have the tasting but may come back for that. We were glad we got appetizers as the main dish was small and no sides. Left a little hungry. Service was very good and friendly. This was a Birthday dinner and so worth the extra cost; a little pricey for us for repeated dining.
At the Table is a magnificent dining experience! Creative food served expertly in a very pleasant environment. Chef Alex is a master!
At the Table is by far the best restaurant on the main line.
On a spur of the moment last night, my wife and I made a reservation for At The Table. Well, Alex and Tara didn’t disappoint! We knew from our last dinner a few months back that this quiet little spot is a keeper. Now we really wish we had come back sooner! You both make us and all your customers feel like we are dining in your home, warm and inviting!
This time we chose the 6 course tasting menu. Alex had a smile on his face when he tapped his finger on the Wagyu as we were looking at the menu. I knew I was in trouble! WOW! Just over the top! Every course was amazing, from start to finish. One of the highlights was the starter amuse bouche, a chilled lobster and ginger bisque and that set the tone for the evening! As simple as it was, the flavors were smooth and complex, playing off each other. What a way to start. Each course gained momentum and level of execution, building our anticipation for the next. Next was the deconstructed deviled egg. Another amazing execution, hints of truffle, pickle, all played well together. Next stop – Lobster and grilled watermelon salad with a smoked avocado mouse. Wonderful and fresh!
The next three were the best, and we had a hard time picking a favorite. They were all #1! First was the Foie Gras. Seared the way I like it. Warm and tender, with a berry sauce. Outstanding. Almost licked the plate! Next up, Dover Sole, and I think this was my favorite. Perfectly cooked, served with a great rendition of a mushroom duxelle, and a truffle lemon aioli. Perfectly balanced and paired flavors. Melted in my mouth and superbly prepared. Last stop for the hot dishes and a great finale, was the Wagyu! My wife had the scallops, which she said were just as good, but I can’t imagine them topping my Wagyu! The Wagyu was served with a wonderful 24 hour reduction and XO sauce and a few slices of Lancaster Reblochon. OMG!
The finale was the desert course, Tiramisu. Very good, but not sure anything could have lived up to the prior crescendos!
Food was delicious.
Both chefs came and chatted to us quite a bit; both were very nice.
Very enjoyable evening.
Best place around …...feels like it should be in the City not out in Wayne.
Trading menu dinner was pricey but delicious.: Raw tiny oysters, "deconstructed" deviled egg with caviar, grilled watermelon with lobster tail, a dover sole, wagyu beef Andrew duck best, panns cotta and tiramisu. Service was attentive but casual.
Service was excellent. And the food was even better. Chef came out to explain the menu. Both him and the server were very pleasant and did not rush us. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely be back.
My wife and I were at At the Table for her birthday. Owner and head chef Alex is awesome. Great creative fare. Delicious food. Great presentation. Tremendous personal service. And it's a BYOB. At the Table is a shining gem in Wayne.
We decided to go to At The Table BYOB because our friends highly suggested it and it was to be honest one of the most amazing meals ever. Chef and his sous chef were the only staff members there and they made everything flawless. We went for the tasting menu and ordered the supplement of the Miyazaki beef and oh my god was it mouth watering. My partner asked if she could do the scallop dish which chef gladly said yes and it was just packed with so much flavor. (Scallop was only on a la carte). The end was a result of sheer perfection which to be completely honest almost left a tear in my eye that it was over. Needless to say i have made another reservation before the summer is over and cannot wait to see what they have in store next time. THANK YOU ALEX AND DANNY.
Went to At The Table because we heard of the recent al la carte menu and it did not disappoint. We had the scallop dish and it was cooked perfectly. We loved the crispy cornbread along with the puree of corn. We also split the seafood pasta and it was the best lobster sauce I ever had. We cant wait to go back and try other dishes on the al la carte!
Service was a big disappointment. Too many waitstaff trying to help out but with none totally engaged. We had to ask for everything throughout the dinner and the waiter who took the order specially was told that our friend could not tolerate spicy foods when ordering her entree yet he said nothing about the appetizer she ordered was very spicy. Took forever for them to check back in when she couldn’t eat it.
Executive Chef Alex was on the floor for our meal. What an experience! We each got the tasting menu and did both of the up-charge options on two of the courses. Every single dish was amazing. Impossible to pick a favorite. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. We WILL go back. More than a few times.
Asked for beef medium and waiter said they only serve beef medium rare because this is a French restaurant! When I insisted on “just pink”, waiter agreed because it was my bday. Dish came medium rare and was sent back, no apologies, and returned after other diners were almost through. Lobster roll plate served with no sides, noise level high for so few tables, prices high for small plates, and wait staff generally inattentive.
Artful presentations of uninspired food. Very underwhelming.
This place will remind your taste buds what they were designed to do. There are few restaurants that can blend as many flavors and ingredients into one dish as At The Table. At the same time, the simply prepared Dover Sole was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever eaten. Been here four times now, can’t wait before the fifth.
Very disappointing experience. My wife and I had been looking forward to eating at this restaurant for a long time especially based on the very positive reviews that other people had written. Due to a large party the noise level was impossible to have any conversation.
We were so disappointed. We dined on a Wednesday evening and we did not have the five or six course menu. We chose the more limited menu. For our appetizer we chose the mushroom toast. Unexciting especially compared to mushroom toast at other restaurants we have been to. For our entrée which was limited to only five choices we chose the surf and turf. The WAYGU beef was very hard to chew And the advertised lump crab cake contained no Lump crab.
The food was fantastic and the service great. A little tight inside and the noise level a little high for quiet dinning
The best food I have had in a long time! I will most certainly be coming back. Alex and Tara are top notch!
Everything was delicious and the chef was charming. Will definitely go again!!!
Our experience the other evening was remarkable from start to finish. We were promptly seated by the owner/Executive Chef, Alex. He thoroughly explained the summer tasting menu as well as the à la carte options. My husband and I immediately jumped at the opportunity to try the tasting menu and we were not disappointed! Each course was creative and the flavor profiles were on point. We enjoyed every course from start to finish— it should also be noted that the time in between courses was perfect. The service was attentive throughout our meal, yet not intrusive. My husband and I are already looking forward to returning to this BYO gem!
