Chef is amazing and food is wonderful!!’
Chef Alex and the team are fantastic! With the tent as additional space and live music playing, it adds to experience that this is the best byob on the Main Line. Expect exceptional food and service without the stuffy atmosphere of high end dining. The six course tasting menu is definitely a wonderful way to enjoy many different flavors. Highly recommend bringing a bottle of champagne/white and a red to accompany all the amazing dishes.
The service is great, even the chef was out and about. They've done a nice job contending with COVID. We passed on the Fix Prix six course menu, although it look interesting. The mushroom toast was even better than expected. Only hesitation was that the beef filet, ordered medium rare was a little to rare for us.
We visited the area from out of town. The food was spectacular & BYOB policy without a corkage fee makes it worth the trip. We definitely will return. The restaurant owner took our orders and made the evening special. The kitchen had no problems accommodating my food allergies. We will definitely return next time in Philly.
Amazing meal by Chefs Tara and Alex. Each course of the tasting menu was better then the next. Culminating with a coffee rub venison! Wow. At the risk of sounding “old” the guitar player inside the tent makes it very difficult to have a conversation with your table, and we were about as far away as possible.
At the Table never disappoints! Mushroom toast and oysters are to die for, and entrees are amazing. Highly recommend the crab cakes. During the pandemic, we have enjoyed socially distanced dining in the tent several times, often accompanied by live music. We will be back soon!
had another excellent dinner at At The Table last night! Chef Alex and Chef Tara never disappoint. Mushroom toast is always amazing and the rangoons were an excellent addition to the menu!! Great additions to the menu are just another reason why ATT is a go-to for us!
One of the best BYOB in the area! It’s our favorite! Going back again soon!
Worst dining experience in 27 years on the mainline. They didn't respond to a question on the reservation (my wife is a vegetarian). When we got there they couldn't find the reservation. I reserved an indoor table but all they could offer was outdoors.
Food was slung onto the table and service very unprofessional.
Food was poor.
I won't go back
As always the food and service was excellent- we opted for the a la carte menu and it did not disappoint- rangoons and oysters to start, followed by meat loaf and duck, all perfectly executed. We ate in the tent and it was very comfortable. Highly recommend!
Small and intimate.
The food is always amazing, and I highly recommend the tasting menu. There's currently a nice tent for plenty of outdoor seating. I don't so much recommend as much as I insist people should try it!
Amazing dining experience!
At the Table has become a mainstay for my girlfriend and I. It has become the one place we frequent for dinner in the Wayne area. The food is always fantastic and we constantly find ourselves saying “I can’t believe how good this is” or “this is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten”. The constantly changing oyster selection and different iterations of Waygu tenderloin keep us coming back for more. The desserts also continue to impress and tend to have a nice seasonal flair. Chefs Alex & Tara do everything in their power to make sure everyone’s experience is memorable.
What an amazing experience! Delicious food, great service, lovely place. Couldn't have asked for more for a restaurant for a special occasion without having to go into Philadelphia.
Food was very good but service was odd. Sous chef was the server. Had a filthy chef shirt on, who was trying to be funny I guess but was really just rude. Not a great experience
Can’t recommend it enough. Reservations go fast...
The oysters were awesome could have eaten 100 of them! My duck was cooked perfectly, we can't wait to go back.
High caliber gourmet tasting experience. Not only delicious but exquisitely presented.
We sat outside in the heated tent which was great. There was a solo guitarist playing tunes and the food was amazing. We got the oysters, grilled romaine salad and mushroom toast to start. For dinner we had the Waygu tenderloin and crab cakes. Unbelievable. Not sure why it’s taken so long to get to this gem but At the Table will be a regular spot. Thanks for a fantastic evening.
The food was excellent and the chef created an outstanding tasting menu for Valentines Day! There were some really great options to choose from, which made it very hard to decide. My wife and I have been coming to At the Table for several years for our Valentines dinner and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is great and the service is the best. Highly recommend this place for special occasions or if you just want a really good meal.
Our favorite restaurant in Wayne! Chefs Alex and Tara always come up with a spectacular menu.
Best food on the Mainline! Chef prepares dishes meticulously; mixing great flavors and new styles of cooking. I don't eat mushrooms except at this restaurant. The mushroom toast is a must have.
Simply delightful. Chef Alex shared the menu details with us and everything even exceeded his descriptions. The oysters with apple mignonette were just spectacular.
My rating is the average among our party. 3 of us had the lobster bisque to start which was light and so much better than those that are heavy and weigh you down the rest of the meal. 2 of us had outstanding entrees (Wagyu and Sole) and 2 of us had good entrees (lobster risotto). The downside of the risotto was - overuse of saffron, under-cooked risotto and difficulty getting the lobster out from the bottom of the tail since it wasn't cut open on top. On a positive note, the risotto was filled with large pieces of lobster which made up for the lack of it from the tail. The service was very good (thanks Carter) and everyone was friendly and pleasant. Overall, our party had a good time.
We really, really wanted to love At the Table. Unfortunately there were a host of issues from the start. We’d requested a table indoors as opposed to sitting in the tent outside. But when we got there there was no availability inside so agreed to the tent. The tent was COLD and we didn’t have a heater close. We kept our coats on but were freezing after a full two hours there. The inside was full - as in every table occupied - and so was the tent. So the tent was not for “overflow” but actually more than doubled the restaurant’s capacity it seemed. Aside from the COVID-19 issues with that, unfortunately the servers and kitchen couldn’t keep up with double the patrons and service really suffered. It was a full 20 minutes before we were greeted after being seated, several minutes more to have our wine opened, another half hour after that to get a cheese board (which was excellent). Another half hour for entrees. We had crab cakes which were outstanding and braised short ribs which were piping hot but forgettable. Never had our water filled or a server check on our meals. We would have loved to try bread pudding for dessert but at this point we’d been there two hours and were freezing so we called it a night. Maybe we will try again when it’s warmer.
It was our first time there but certainly won’t be the last. It was a very memorable experience. The owner and chief was very accommodating and out going! Don’t miss out on this gem
Great food, great ambiance, great service! Large tent with heaters and tables 10-15' apart. BYOB, couldn't ask for more!
Great food. Superb menu. Great service. Great team. Would recommend to anyone.
Amazing food! The Mushroom Toast is a must! Best BYOB on the Main Line.
New Year’s Eve! My hats go off to this restaurant and the owner and chef who has an incredible personality! Keep moving forward facing giants in this pandemic or “plandemic”. The food was delicious so flavorful.
We love At The Table! Fabulous food, excellent value, warm and friendly staff and owners. A perfect BYOB!!
Consistently outstanding! They continue to create high level but approachable cuisine. We love dining here and can not wait to return.
Outside seating in a tent with a rainstorm was less than desirable My shoes, dress and purse were soaked. The food was good but the menu was limited. The owner was friendly and laid back. I wish they had put a birthday candle on my dessert!
I dined there on Christmas Eve. The food was amazing! The guitarist was a wonderful addition to the ambiance. The chef who was serving us all night was the most down to earth individual. I already recommended this establishment to two of my friends.
We always look forward to our dining experience. The outside dining was comfortable despite the very cold weather outside. Two of our party had the steak which was outstanding. The duck entre was also exceptional. I was so happy to see the Tasting Menu reintroduced as it afforded me the opportunity to taste dishes that I like but are never my "first choice" (Diver Scallops, tortellini). Alex always goes out of his way to make sure you have a great meal and a great experience. So glad that they made the investment to have outside dining during these troubling times
Amazing as always! Tent setup is perfect and one of the best outdoor setups in the area. Food was fantastic- try the steak and crab cakes! Well done Chefs :)
This was our first time here. It was fabulous. The crab cakes were ALL crab!!! And the desserts were to die for. Chef Alex and Chef Tara are doing an amazing job at making their business work in these crazy times.
Absolutely amazing and creative food from start to finish!! The chef and his wife are also the servers and presenters of the dishes. A MUST try. And BYOB really helps, but It is a bit pricy.
