We sat outside in the heated tent which was great. There was a solo guitarist playing tunes and the food was amazing. We got the oysters, grilled romaine salad and mushroom toast to start. For dinner we had the Waygu tenderloin and crab cakes. Unbelievable. Not sure why it’s taken so long to get to this gem but At the Table will be a regular spot. Thanks for a fantastic evening.
The food was excellent and the chef created an outstanding tasting menu for Valentines Day! There were some really great options to choose from, which made it very hard to decide. My wife and I have been coming to At the Table for several years for our Valentines dinner and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is great and the service is the best. Highly recommend this place for special occasions or if you just want a really good meal.
Our favorite restaurant in Wayne! Chefs Alex and Tara always come up with a spectacular menu.
Best food on the Mainline! Chef prepares dishes meticulously; mixing great flavors and new styles of cooking. I don't eat mushrooms except at this restaurant. The mushroom toast is a must have.
Simply delightful. Chef Alex shared the menu details with us and everything even exceeded his descriptions. The oysters with apple mignonette were just spectacular.
My rating is the average among our party. 3 of us had the lobster bisque to start which was light and so much better than those that are heavy and weigh you down the rest of the meal. 2 of us had outstanding entrees (Wagyu and Sole) and 2 of us had good entrees (lobster risotto). The downside of the risotto was - overuse of saffron, under-cooked risotto and difficulty getting the lobster out from the bottom of the tail since it wasn't cut open on top. On a positive note, the risotto was filled with large pieces of lobster which made up for the lack of it from the tail. The service was very good (thanks Carter) and everyone was friendly and pleasant. Overall, our party had a good time.
We really, really wanted to love At the Table. Unfortunately there were a host of issues from the start. We’d requested a table indoors as opposed to sitting in the tent outside. But when we got there there was no availability inside so agreed to the tent. The tent was COLD and we didn’t have a heater close. We kept our coats on but were freezing after a full two hours there. The inside was full - as in every table occupied - and so was the tent. So the tent was not for “overflow” but actually more than doubled the restaurant’s capacity it seemed. Aside from the COVID-19 issues with that, unfortunately the servers and kitchen couldn’t keep up with double the patrons and service really suffered. It was a full 20 minutes before we were greeted after being seated, several minutes more to have our wine opened, another half hour after that to get a cheese board (which was excellent). Another half hour for entrees. We had crab cakes which were outstanding and braised short ribs which were piping hot but forgettable. Never had our water filled or a server check on our meals. We would have loved to try bread pudding for dessert but at this point we’d been there two hours and were freezing so we called it a night. Maybe we will try again when it’s warmer.
It was our first time there but certainly won’t be the last. It was a very memorable experience. The owner and chief was very accommodating and out going! Don’t miss out on this gem
Great food, great ambiance, great service! Large tent with heaters and tables 10-15' apart. BYOB, couldn't ask for more!
Great food. Superb menu. Great service. Great team. Would recommend to anyone.
Amazing food! The Mushroom Toast is a must! Best BYOB on the Main Line.
New Year’s Eve! My hats go off to this restaurant and the owner and chef who has an incredible personality! Keep moving forward facing giants in this pandemic or “plandemic”. The food was delicious so flavorful.
We love At The Table! Fabulous food, excellent value, warm and friendly staff and owners. A perfect BYOB!!
Consistently outstanding! They continue to create high level but approachable cuisine. We love dining here and can not wait to return.
Outside seating in a tent with a rainstorm was less than desirable My shoes, dress and purse were soaked. The food was good but the menu was limited. The owner was friendly and laid back. I wish they had put a birthday candle on my dessert!
I dined there on Christmas Eve. The food was amazing! The guitarist was a wonderful addition to the ambiance. The chef who was serving us all night was the most down to earth individual. I already recommended this establishment to two of my friends.
We always look forward to our dining experience. The outside dining was comfortable despite the very cold weather outside. Two of our party had the steak which was outstanding. The duck entre was also exceptional. I was so happy to see the Tasting Menu reintroduced as it afforded me the opportunity to taste dishes that I like but are never my "first choice" (Diver Scallops, tortellini). Alex always goes out of his way to make sure you have a great meal and a great experience. So glad that they made the investment to have outside dining during these troubling times
Amazing as always! Tent setup is perfect and one of the best outdoor setups in the area. Food was fantastic- try the steak and crab cakes! Well done Chefs :)
This was our first time here. It was fabulous. The crab cakes were ALL crab!!! And the desserts were to die for. Chef Alex and Chef Tara are doing an amazing job at making their business work in these crazy times.
Absolutely amazing and creative food from start to finish!! The chef and his wife are also the servers and presenters of the dishes. A MUST try. And BYOB really helps, but It is a bit pricy.
My wife and i love this restaurant. Food is some of the best in the area.
This restaurant is really struggling with serving its customers during the pandemic. Was promised indoor dining— was told upon arrival that it was not available. Was placed in a heated tent which was incredibly loud. A macadam “floor” like a county fair. Service was terrible — they’re clearly understaffed. A poor guitar player struggled to be heard above the din. After finally ordering, food came slightly cold; still reasonably tasty, but not exceptional. Will avoid in the future. Good luck At The Table!
Great food as usual but the service was much too long :(
We absolutely loved it - experience was awesome and we will definitely be back again!!
Everything was incredible; the food was outstanding, the owner and chef was hilarious and friendly, the BYOB is a perk and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend!!! Enjoy!
Great service and food
First time dining here and our experience overall was very pleasant.
Best restaurant in Wayne! Great music during dinner- Wellfleet oysters amazing- always a pleasant evening. Alex and Tara do a great job !
It was great to go to ATT for a special occasion and support local people that really care about doing a great job. Food was really good, service was awesome and overall exactly what we were hoping for.
Friendly, attentive, enthusiastic staff.
Amazing, creative, delicious food.
Live acoustic music.
The perfectly laid out social distanced experience.
And the Chef checks in at every table!
Cannot wait to return!
Such an incredible meal and service was attentive and fun. Definitely going back soon! Crab rangoons are a must!
Everything was great except it took a long time to get our meal severed. It was a Saturday evening and the outside seating was full. The interior of the restaurant is small so maybe this level of demand caused the delay. However, the food was terrific and the staff were attentive and pleasant. We will be back.
Wonderful food and terrific service. Great job on the outside set up.
It was a great meal and so nice to be able to talk regularly with Chef as he walked around the tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals. Will be back for sure
First time dining last night- Best meal, best service, best atmosphere, best experience! I’m still thinking about that mushroom toast. Everything was absolutely delicious- no other restaurant on the Main Line even comes close!
Beautiful Night. Could not have been more satisfied with the food, the service and the atmosphere. There was a musician playing guitar and singing softly in the background.
A perfect place to share with a special someone.
Our food and service were top notch. Especially enjoyed the oysters. Our favorite date night restaurant.
My wife and I love this restaurant. The food is always memorable. Staff is great. Please go out and support this local gem.
Mushroom toast and froie gras apps are really good. Seafood boil and wagu steak were amazing! First time, will no doubt be going back
Making the best of the situation. Chef Tara and Alex still cranking out great meals even if we miss the tasting menu. Waiters were quite as “on point” as we’ve come to expect but I appreciate getting help is hard right now. Tent set up with heat lamps was a nice touch on a chilly night. Go see them!
