Always a great spot with excellent quality and service everytime.
The food was EXCELLENT! Kanpachi appetizer, sashimi bowl and miso black cod -- al my favorites! The service was attentive, and it wasn't too cold with heaters. Highly recommend!
The quality of service and food options are fantastic! I recommend this place to all my friends and family.
Great
Uni fantastic
10/10 recommend this restaurant! Everything was delicious, wonderful ambiance and great service. The owner Vincent was kind and consistently checked in.
Superb and tasty. Scintillating taste and textures
Food was exceptional and we will be back !
Delicious food and great service!
Manager is the cutest man!!! He’s so friendly!! Food was great as well!
Love this restaurant and its owner who provided exceptional service during Covid-19. I don’t usually leave reviews but doing it this time to support this restaurant. The Chawan mushi (hard to find dish) is really amazing. Sushi good quality, and real Japanese Wagyu beef that is good value for money (not cheap obviously for real Japanese wagyu, but better value nonetheless compared to most restaurants offering similar quality beef). We need to support businesses like this so they can survive this challenging time.
Sushi and service was fantastic!
Expensive but very quality food. Great service.
The ambiance and service was great, but I just did not find the fish to be especially tasty.
Best on the Westside!! Hidden gem been around forever!
It was clised, opentable sucks
Due to corona we had to sit on Westwood blvd as the patio was booked.
That’s why I gave 3stars for ambiance
Otherwise this place is great
From customer service to the food
Sushi was absolutely delicious
I live across town but I’d definitely come back
Great quality food, service and value! Best sushi I’ve had all year.
Looking forward to going back...great service & excellent fresh sushi!
Food was really good and simple! Great quality! I highly recommend this place! It's one of my new fav sushi spots in LA!
It was so so good. Owner was there and very hospitable. Fish was amazing.
Phenomenal quality sushi and top-notch service. Wonderful experience every time.
Wonderful service and food. Sushi was fresh and the rice was very good. This is not a rolls place. You'll want to dine here if you want an true sushi experience.
What a great find! Excellent service and great sushi! Everything we had was a delight. And, our server was so helpful and attentive.
My husband and I LLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE Asuka. We are big sushi fans and have been looking for an amazing spot since Sushi of Gari closed in Hollywood. The BEST part of it all is that we recently moved and Asuka is now 2 blocks away from our house!
The sushi is IMPECCABLE. Seriously, one of the TOP sushi restaurants in the city.
Will not disappoint one bit!
I and my friend had a very good time in there. I’ll go back again and again☺️
Sushi was very good. Service was slow after requesting additional sushi. Will go back.
A business lunch for 2 people without drinks for $175 is excessive.
We shared 9 pieces of sushi and a lunch plate of sashimi, plus 1 black cod.
Great great sushi restaurant! Chef Ken was amazing as always. Great food great drinks great ambiance!
The food was impeccable. Sushi highlights were the king salmon, the uni, and the ikura. I also tried the chawanmushi which was incredible. The uni might be the best uni I've ever had. I could have done without the special white fish (nogoduro) which was among the most expensive. And the goldeneye snapper was interesting and I'm glad I tried it, but I enjoyed the salmon and yellowtail more. Next time I will probably stick to king salmon, yellowtail, and ikura, with uni on special occasions (because it's very pricey). I will definitely be back, and I look forward to trying the green tea tiramisu which looked great.
Best sushi I’ve ever had. We love Chef Kenkichi and all of the attentive staff!
Waitress ordered the wrong beef dish for my wife. She pointed to the "Japanese Beef" @ $15. She brought Waygu beef but never said anything. @ $65. Clearly their mistake. Their retort was "you ate it so you must pay for it"! My wife thought it was good but never knew it was Waygu. Manager kept arguing with us but finally relented to reduce the charge. Handled so poorly by waitress and manager. Will never go back after that treatment.
One of our favorite places. The sushi is incredible
Excellent sushi, high quality fish and always consistent.
Asuka is a fantastic dining experience, if you are new you receive a tutorial of the food and origin. They make you feel special in full house..... the quality of the Sushi is next to none.... you will know the difference immediately, the first bite will let you know you have arrived!!!
Fish was delicious and service was excellent. Portions were small and menu was pricey. Ambiance plain and unimaginative. Management engaging and upbeat.
Asuka has returned from 20 years ago! The entire meal was Fabulous. The quality of food was of the highest , very fresh as if straight from the sea and was presented beautifully. The menu is extensive with traditional Japanese offerings and many more unusual selections.
The ambiance is sophisticated and yet welcoming. The owner is a delight especially since he retains his graciousness we remembered from so long ago!
Very pleasant restaurant, the sushi was very good, the waygu beef was delicious. Service was very attentive. Looking forward to going again
The food was terrible . The worst part was costing for the two of us ~$500.
We sat at the Sushi bar. Food was incredible. Fish and presentation were impeccable. We will definitely be back.
Went there for years, before they moved......used to be a consistent, neighborhood sushi spot, with quality food. Sadly........it isn't anymore. Food was mediocre at best. Tuna sashimi had sauce on it???? Hand rolls looked like they were half full, only dish OK was the rock shrimp. Tempura was 4 pieces with no shrimp, we were informed that it would be too expensive to have shrimp in their tempura at any price. Too pricey for what it is.
