The grand dame of the mountain at Falls Creek, with stunning accommodation, and magnesium pool, day spa and a world-class restaurant and bar.

Our restaurant & bar will be opening for winter 2025 from Friday 6th June:

Après - From 4pm - walk in only
Dinner Bookings from 5.30pm - online bookings

For bookings consisting of 8 or more adults, you will be required to dine on one of our set menus.

We do offer a wine cellar experience for up to 6 people. To enquire about this please contact us directly.

We will have live music on Mondays for Après from 4pm - 6pm between 7th July & 25th August 2025 (inclusive).

Astra has previously been one of our go to restaurants on the mountain, but the food quality this year is sadly lacking. Service and ambiance still great but the food was over priced for the quality. Better options across the mountain

We are using the same suppliers, with great quality produce, as in previous seasons with a focus on local produce such as our meat from Farm To Fork Butchery (formally Tawonga South Butchery), who are based just down the hill. Our pricing is in line with other similar venues in the area. We aim to offer our diners a great dining experience with attentive & friendly service, delicious & reasonably priced food. Fabulous night we had the feed me with matching wines. Our son is dairy free and they accommodated for him by substituting a couple of dishes for him that weren’t dairy free. Staff were all fabulous

We went to the table at 645 and ordered promptly and didn’t receive our meals until 815 so an 1 1/2 wait. No reason given apologies made and a small discount.
