It was back in 1972 when we visualized an Authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Greektown. Astoria Shish Kebob House has a contemporary ambiance and serves a modern take on most of our dishes that derive from family recipes past down from generations.

Astoria Shish Kebob House cooking style is vastly based on the Mediterranean diet. Is considered to be light. Great meal, great service. Would like to see service a little slower to enjoy the experience a bit more. Wait staff just lovely and on top of everything. We’ve never had a bad experience. Always a great meal!

We had a lovely time here. Food was great (we brought takeout for the next day with us - it was delish!). Great service, nice quiet atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended.

Food is lovely. Was here 8 years ago and the food quality has stood the rest of time. Great as always. Our waiter was so nice and polite.

Can always count on having a great meal at Astoria. Service is always outstanding and the food is delicious and lots of it. We have never been disappointed when eating here. We have been coming here for over 25 years

We had a great time at Astoria. Our waiter was very attentive as we were a group of 10. Food is great and they were accommodating (allowing and serving a birthday cake).
