It was like someone who never ate Greek trying to do a Greek Restaurant. Nothing worked. It was inexpensive and the service was good. Not one of the 3 of us at the table would ever go back there. Find something else and don't waste your time or money.

The food is alway good, in fact excellent and fresh. Service is always excellent. They are quick courteous and what I like is that they seem to work around you without interrupting your conversation flow. Lunch is crowded and somewhat loud, but they can handle large groups no problem.

Food was ok to good. I may have missed it on the open table write up but this is a glorified self serve cafeteria where you line up, order food and drinks and then go find a a seat to eat. Don't know why they even take reservations for lunch. Maybe it was irrelevant because my reservation was after the lunch rush which I am told is very busy.

Order the humus with fresh pita bread. Try the Greek olive dip with is off the chart for your taste buds. I usually get the combo giro meat plate. It has chicken, lamb and beef strips of meat served over pitas. Tonight I had dinner with a group of 6 and we all had fresh Greek salads. The feta was amazing. Then we had the kabobs where the meat was tender and juicy. It was hard to save room for the baklava since they are such generous plates, but you must try the baklava- I've not had it better anywhere else and I am from NYC, so when I say this place rocks! You can believe it does!

You may have to wait in line for a while to order from the overhead menue but the quality of the food and value is worth it! We met friends early so we did not have a long line and we had many tables to choose from. We decided to get dessert after eating but changed our minds when we saw the ordering line was out the door. It was the height of the lunch hour and very noisy and crowded! Any inconvenience is worth it however. The food is tasty and well prepared. Also, a good value.

If you like good food - this is the place to go. Everything was delicious. We had a party of 12 and everyone had a great time. If youre looking for someplace fancy, then this isnt for you.

Overall Asteria Grill was a solid choice, but they need to schedule there servers better. When we got there the restaurant was nearly empty and there was a single server. Shortly after we arrived several more groups came in and table started to fill up, but they were all supported by a single server. Our group was the largest so it seems like we got the most attention, but there was a general feeling of disappointment in the air from other tables as the server ignored them time and time again. It wasn't that he was being lazy, he was simply managing too many tables. Even while we got the most attention, two of our orders were taken incorrectly. To their credit, one of the chefs realized that some tables were being ignored and left the kitchen repeatedly to double as a server. As far as the food goes, I enjoyed it (as did everyone at my table), but I don't think it was particularly special. The selection is solid and I don't think you'll be disappointed by the food, but if you're looking for amazing Greek food, I'm not sure this is the place.
