Assam’s was just voted as one of the best restaurants in Glasgow in the Smooth Radio and Evening times “Love Glasgow and the West Awards”. Being the only Indian Restaurant in the Final Five was a great accomplishment .Offering home cooked traditional Indian food it has become a firm favorite. Offering a vast range of Indian food varying from Buffet Lunches, Indian tapas to our A la carte menu, all made from the best fresh locally sourced produce.

Great meal at Assams as always. Well looked after by the staff and the quality and quantity of the food was very good and very reasonable. One day we will remember that the portions are HUGE! Good children's menu too - got a double thumbs up from the two small boys in our group.

Glad we found this indian, arrived early wasent a problem service was spot on and food was fab, dont worry if what you like isnt on menu jst ask they will make it for you. Will definately be going back

Very friendly sever saw me to my table, being a solo diner I would have liked a few free nibles until my meal arrive, I made my choice, sorry I always have the same thing, veg vindaloo, sag paner, rice and peshwari nan, the gentalman said it would be huge for one person so he suggested half potions, well he wasn't wrong, I managed what I could and took the rest home, strange but the sag paner disappeared, but great value for money,

Chefs platter for 2 was delicious and cooked fresh from start for the mains the lamb boti and the lamb shanks were excellent. Would return here again as the service was also excellent

Restaurant was a bit quiet at the beginning, but livened up around 9pm.. Excellent starters. Lamb shank was new on the menu and was to die for

poor seat at entrance to kitchen,waiters rushing up and down stair next to table,1 hour for starter arrived and charged service charge for 2 people only table,all this on valentines night,would not go back.

It has been a while since we visited Assams but decided to take friends there for a festive meal as the food had always been been excellent, not so on this occasion overall the food was poor but the main problem was that my friend and I had the chicken buttery which had very large pieces of chicken, both of us ate the smaller pieces and when we came to the large piece mine was very pink and hers had blood thru it. We did point this out to the waitress but to no avail, apart from being a disappointing meal it could have been very dangerous if we had eaten it. On hind sight we should have realised it would not be the same experience as it was very quiet for a Saturday evening.
