   Very good risotto; the only problem was the place is a bit small so it gets both busy and noisy, but we cane in the middle of a rush. All the food came out together and at the right time, so good for for them!

   Seattle local who brought my visiting parents for Dad’s 72nd Birthday and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our server was FANTASTIC. The food was DELICIOUS and we left full and happy. We had the Chicken Parm (tender with a beautifully mild but flavorful sauce), the Brasato.. (the best Braised Short Ribs I’ve ever had!) and the Filetto (grilled to perfection and sooo YUM!). Thanks to the wonderful staff. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Italian experience in Downtown Seattle!

   The host when we first got there did not set a great precedent to the point that we almost left. I’m glad we didn’t. The server and the food were both beyond amazing and more than made up for the disappointing beginning.

   Grandma and I had such a wonderful experience at Assaggio during our visit to Seattle! It's been a while since we were last here (we live in Boise), but we couldn't have been happier with our evening. Our waiter, Chet, was fantastic — he let us enjoy a relaxed, casual pace, made an excellent wine suggestion, and provided attentive, thoughtful service throughout. The food was just as memorable. Grandma loved her classic spaghetti bolognese, and my gnocchi was absolutely perfect. We shared a spectacular caprese salad to start, and finished the night with delicious coffee and a limoncello gelato that was truly out of this world. We’re already looking forward to our next trip back to Assaggio — and of course, to seeing Chet again!

   Our waiter was outstanding. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. The green leaf salad was excellent. The quality of the mains varied but were overall very good. This was our 3rd stop at this restaurant in the past year.

   Absolutely fantastic food! We had a lovely bottle of wine, bread with garlicky olive oil, gnocchi, pizza, rigatoni, salted boca, and the pasta bolognese. Everyone enjoyed and felt it was delicious. The ambience is lovely feels like a little family restaurant. By the time we left there was a line out the door- so make reservations. Highly recommend.

    We had a splendid time. The service was amazing! The food was thoughtfully conceived and delivered with perfection. Ambiance, atmosphere, spirit of enjoyment saturated the room. Una serata molto dolce!!
