Asian Mint | Highland Park
Great food! Wonderful red curry!
Delicious food in a casual dining venue. Would definitely go back to try other dishes. I enjoyed the Beef Pad See Ew (beef with broad noodles)
Always good food and a large selection of gluten-free food.
THE FOOD WAS MARGINAL AT BEST. AMBIANCE WAS DECENT. WE WERE SEATED NEXT TO A GROUP OF DRUNK DUDES WHO WERE LOUD AND OFFENSIVE TO MY FIANCE. SERVER KEPT SERVING THEM BOOZE DESPITE HOW WASTED THEY WERE. EATING FOOD OFF PLATES OF EMPTY TABLES ETC. PRETTY BAD. WON'T BE GOING BACK. HAVE THE GUTS TO ASK PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO LEAVE SO YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS DON'T HAVE TO TOLERATE IT.
I ate here with friends on New Year’s Eve night. The experience was a positive start of special night. Whether it be an intimate date or a group of friends, this has to be in my top 10 favorite places to eat. The Mint offers quality food at a reasonable price. The cocktails are wonderful as well. I’m not one to drink sugary candy cocktails. At the Mint, I can order one of their specialty drinks and not have to worry whether or not it will taste like a liquid gummy bear. The food and drinks have been consistent. I’ve never experienced an “off night.” Staff is not only friendly but personable. After only eating there a few times, they remembered my name. Lastly, in addition to this this restaurant offering incredible food, drinks, and service, there is something else that makes this place unique; they offer all of this with class. Many equate “affordable” with a lesser, not here.
I’ve been here in the past and had no complaints, but I recently went back on a Monday night and even though the restaurant was virtually empty it seemed had to grab a waitress. When our apps arrived the shrimp Rangoon was cold in the center and our lettuce wraps came with 2 dinky, pieces of lettuce. When we asked for more lettuce they brought some out that looked much better, but I was surprised to see the difference in what we were just served and how someone thought that was okay to send out in comparison. At the end of the day we spent around $80 with tip and had a very mediocre and unsatisfying experience.
My girlfriend and I decided to go here for cocktails to catch up as Sachet was closed on a Monday and although the place is basic and casual - we both ordered Lychee martinis which were superrrr delicious and very strong I might add. We went to Al Biernat’s for a late dinner afterwards so I personally have not eaten here but the place was packed on a Monday night and the atmosphere was like a livelier Starbucks with real food and alcohol served. Would recommend this place for a casual/low key evening.
First time to try this place out and we loved it! Food was excellent and service was great too! A little smaller of a dining area but it was still amazing! Will definitely be back!
Our food was excellent and so was the lychee cocktail. Sticky rice with coconut ice cream were amazing! The seating was too close for comfort with other diners though. My husband being 6’4”, he was uncomfortable with the close proximity and small seating. I wouldn’t come here for an intimate date night, conversation between those on the tables on each side of us can clearly be heard as I imagine they could hear ours. Would definitely return but more for a casual lunch or dinner.
Great place for those that are gluten intolerant! Was my first time going, and while I really enjoyed it, I was definitely caught off guard by how small the facility was.
My first time to Asian Mint. Every bite was delicious. Our server was well-informed about the menu selections and wine list with a friendly, yet professional manner. I'll be back !
Enjoyed the meal from start to finish. The crispy red snapper was very good.
By far, the best place to eat in Dallas.
The place is very small. Bar is right by entrance and dining tables near front. Staff at bar was VERY loud and unprofessional plying around with one another. This, when combined with regular takeout pick up just ruined the atmosphere expected for most people sitting down trying to have dinner.
Great neighborhood restaurant. I ordered the steamed sea bass. It was very fresh including the broccoli and bok choy. The sauce was fantastic. I recommend the caramel cheese cake. It is noteworthy. One slice is enough for two people.
We placed reservation on Open Table, we even showed up a little early. Before we could get settled in our seats, the waitress came over and said kitchen was closing in 5 minutes so we needed to hurry up and order everything.
CAREFUL!!! They never quite get your food right
Great food and service.
Excellent chicken satay. Nice lunch with quick service. Shared appetizer and main course was more than enough for two to share.
Fantastic Food and Service - Lovely Thai Cuisine that really hits home how different flavors in a dish can make you happy! Great use of differently vegetables and spices to accomplish fantastic dishes! We ordered family style so we could try 5 dishes at the same time!
The potsticker appetizers were tender, tasty and hot. My main course of a suggested of friend chicken and mango sauce had nice flavor but the chicken was incredibly tough. I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Should have had some Pad Thai. Service was impeccable .
I would go back.
As always, a wonderful experience.
Love the Mint. Great food that won't cost you a mint.
The food was delicious and the restaurant was gracious enough to keep the kitchen open for my 9:30 reservation. But because we were the last people in the restaurant it was obvious they were ready for us to eat and leave. We couldn't get our water glasses refilled, no one asked if we needed anything. I even had to get up and go over to where the waitress was sitting to ask her for our check. The food was still awesome as usual, I just know not to go when they are closing.
This was my first visit to Mint Dallas and I was very impressed. The food was amazing. I will definitely be back.
Great food! Tons of naturally gluten free options. Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Definitely recommend!
Lovely! Very nice. A great find just tucked into Highland Park. Loved the summer rolls!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallad. We were having a great meal on Valentine's Day...food was great...until they started cleaning with heavy chemicals while we were still eating...I think it was something in the kitchen...I had a sneezing attach and my husband started coughing...I told our waiter that this was unacceptable to begin cleaning before the restaurant was closed...I had to leave immediately because I couldn't smell or breathe...hopefully they will realize they shouldn't clean during business hours.::couldn't find a manager to talk to...mainly 20-somethings working at restaurant that didn't care...
Fresh, yummy and the best of Asian fusion cuisine- this is a neighborhood gem, a take out bonanza, and a place you can actually have a conversation- not so noisy that you can't speak to anyone. The best and freshest of shrimp summer rolls, the pad Lee moo won zen is my personal fave, but all the curries are a delight as well.
Great food and drinks. Mint never disappoints. One of our favorite places
We always enjoy Mint: light and tasty food, very nice wait staff, close to home, & fairly priced.
ORANGE CHICKEN LIKE McNUGGETS
MONGOLIAN BEEF TOUGH
MAYBE THAI MENU 100% IS BETTER...BUT WHY RISK IT?
Excellent food and service! Not too many tables, so get a reservation or get there early.
Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon friend's get together. Great service, great food. Would definitely go back.
Service was slow and at sometimes a tad abrasive. Sort of rushed at the end; we had no idea that they closed at 9:30 on a Thursday?? Would not let my guest get another beer even though there were other guests at the bar being served.
I love the pad kee mow and the crab fried rice. Great for dining in, pickup, or delivery. One of the best that restaurants in Dallas.
The orange chicken is awesome
Good food, a bit pricy, but no complaint about attentiveness.
