Asi es mi Peru
Asi es mi Peru, opened in late 2016 at Paradise Beach Villas by Peruvian-born Roxanna Salinas, features a genuine Peruvian Cevicheria where you can sit at the bar and watch the Chef make ceviche from scratch and to order. The cevicheria also serves Tiradito, a variation of ceviche and reminiscent of Japanese sushi, deliciously marinated with a smoky aji amarillo. The restaurant gazebo features a Peruvian market place where you can buy typical Peruvian crafts with a portion of the proceeds for the Aruba’s Cancer Foundation.
Inside, the restaurant is a more formal dining room featuring the food that made Peru famous: Lomo saltado (a sauteed beef), Aji de Gallina (a creamy chicken dish) and a number of typical preparations you would love.
Amazing food combined with wonderful authentic Peruvian ambiance. We never miss an opportunity to see Oliver at Asi es mi Peru. Don’t forget to try the Pisco Sour (drink) and Rice Pudding (dessert); both are delicious. Highly recommend the ceviches and Lomo Saltado. You also can’t go wrong with the full chicken, which our kids love!
Our first exposure to Peruvian cuisine. It was excellent. Portions large. Host and servers attentive.
Absolutely disappointing service was very very slow.
Problem with our meal
We felt like management didn’t care
I had gone last year and it was very different
Restaurant staff was very helpful in suggesting food as we were first time patrons to Peruvian Food
Will recommend- definitely.... nice, quiet atmosphere, and food is very good....my personal favorite: shrimp soup, which is practically a dinner.... so fulfilling! Try it to enjoy it!
Very good Peruvian food in a well decorated and themed restaurant.
We had an absolutely delicious dinner, with a fabulous ambiance. We highly recommend Asi es mi Perú!!
Severely disappointing. We took home leftovers and through them out
Our 1st time visit and we were upset we hadn't come more. The food was terrific and the wait staff the same. Nice owners, stopped to check out our meal and warm friendly feeling. A must try when in Aruba. See you again when we return.
One of the most amazing dining experiences we have ever had! The staff and owner were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was made with the time, preparation, ingredients and authenticity that only comes when someone truly loves what they are doing. This is a can NOT miss restaurant when traveling to Aruba!
The food was delicious! Our server Michelle was excellent! We loved the whole experience! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend trying this restaurant!
What a fabulous gem! The creativity and flavor of the food were amazing! We tried a handful of appetizers and were blown away by the taste, colors and size! The service delivered by the staff (especially Oliver) was incredible. He was so attentive and charming - that we returned to our new favorite Peruvian gem before leaving the island! A must try for adventurous foodies - and lovers of pisco sour cocktails!
Ehh. Had better Peruvian in NYC.
The ambience, including the background music, is outstanding for a romantic dinner! Great prices compared to nearby restaurants!
Warning, they give a service charge for the waiters and waitresses before you decide what else to tip. In our case, a $55 dinner added a $5.10 service charge to make it about $60. But our waitress was excellent!
No había nada de recepción como panecillos saborizados...
Deberían tener algo....
This amazing restaurant is one of our favorites in Aruba. We have returned several times and are never disappointed. The waiters easily walk us though the menu and make excellent recommendations. Don’t skip the ceviche. The best ever. We always have a seafood dish and they are so tasty. Try it for something delicious and different
We celebrated our 56th Wedding Anniversary with 7 family members. The staff was friendly and outstanding service. The ceviche was delicious. Our entrees were delicious.
Very authentic Peruvian food and the service was great, very attentive staff.
Delicious food and the service was impeccable!! The grand dessert is a must, a little of all the Peruvian desserts. Highly recommend ❤️
Our favorite restuarant in Aruba.
Good quality food. A bit overpriced for what you get. Chicken is good and combos are as well. Service is adequate but nothing special. The jalea was too basic and didn't have all the seafood you come to expect. Overall good but not great.
This was our first time here. We really enjoyed the food. We tried both the cold and hot sampler platters between 4 people. It was perfect. We got to try 10 different items and we all liked them all. Great service and the hosts checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything. It was great.
This restaurant has it all! Great food, great ambiance, great service, great for families.
We just loved the food. We got hot tapas, and ceviche. Everything was delicious and authentic. Must visit!!
In Aruba (or at least an area of Aruba) where nothing feels authentic and is so “Americanized”, this restaurant feels so very authentic. The food was solid although I am pretty picky about my Peruvian food since it’s one of my favorite cuisines. I loved the ambiance and the service, and the food was good. I introduced friends to Peruvian food here and I think it was a good first impression. Personally, I loved that it wasn’t air conditioned, but some may not like that. I felt for a little period of time like I was back in Peru where I’ve had some lovely experiences. Definitely worth the visit.
It was ok. Last meal in Aruba so pretty high expectations
Welcoming and lovely service, good food, great choices on the menu. Tasting menu for two left lunch for the next day.
First experience with Peruvian cuisine and we truly enjoyed it.
A Peruvian gem - recommend the cervice and main course meal for two!
Food was delicious and we felt as though it was an authentic experience
Excellent food! Our waitress and the owners helped us with the menu selections. The service and ambience was outstanding. I would highly recommend.
First time eating here and was not disappointed. Ambiance very authentic, drinks were delicious( had Peruvian mojito. The ceviche was so fresh and tasty. I ordered the Tres Marino’s which had lightly fried fish, the ceviche and Peruvian rice with seafood. It was a lot of food and delicious. Don’t miss the Peruvian donuts for dessert !
We discovered this wonderful restaurant last year and it is now on our list for every visit to Aruba. They have a varied and interesting menu and we look forward to trying something new. Our first year, we had Ceviche and their tasting platter ... good choice when trying Peruvian food for the first time.
The Ceviche was delicious again and the pork stew and steak tip had a nice blend of spices. Although you can get items that are 'hot' spicy, I think more meals are mild. The owner/manager was very nice and stopped at each table after dinner to chat and make sure the meal was good. Service and wait staff has been great on our visits.
We topped off our meal with some of their home made ice cream, a perfect ending to an amazing dinner! If you aren't staying on Eagle beach, it is well worth hopping on a bus or taxi for dinner at Asi es mi Peru!
Very nice Peruvian kitchen, we very much liked the different Ceviche dishes
Wonderful restaurant to go too...service is outstanding and the food even better. Definitely will return next time we here
Great, authentic taste of Peru. Owner is very knowledgeable and gracious.
Delightful experience. Food , service and atmosphere were top notch. Will return every time in Aruba !!
Absolutely delicious food! Would highly recommend for anyone in to Peruvian food. Very authentic and moderately priced.
