Ashburn Wine Shop & Wine Bar

its a cute little restaurant tucked into the back of the wine shop. The food and the atmosphere was great. Its a small menu and everything looked great. The crabs cakes were delicious as well as the Bleu Cheese flatbread. We will definitely be visiting again.

Grandma Malone's crab cakes are awesome. AWS never dissapoints.

It was our first time visiting and you would have thought we were regulars. The owner greeted us and welcomed us in. He gave us the rundown on the wines and explained his approach to service and food. Small menu but perfectly designed to accompany great wine and conversation. Excellent first visit - can’t wait to go back!

Lovely evening excellent food

A nice cozy bistro-type experience. We belong to their wine club and enjoy their small plates and excellent wine selections. All their food is prepared fresh in their kitchen and never disappoints.

Good food, paired well with lovely wine

AWS is a great find. This was our first time to experience AWS and the team there couldn't have been nicer. We found the overall environment intimate and warm. Food was wonderful for a casual evening(flatbreads a charcuterie board, and lucky enough to sample the macaroons). Enjoyed it with a 2016 Margaux de Brane. Overall, it was a reasonable value. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thanks to Sean and the team for making us feel welcomed.

We enjoy belonging to their Wine Club and having wine and small plates there in the Bistro. Everything is prepared in house and flatbreads are amazing!

First time, but not the last time. Really enjoyed the wine, the education, and the wonderful food options that paired perfectly with the wines on deck, and the wines we later selected. Big shout out for fitting our "Date Night" in, in between some big group events. We are signing up for the Wine Club and definitely coming back soon...!

Attended our monthly wine tasting event. Had two beautiful Argentine wines -- Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc -- which were excellent. One of advantages of Wine Club is you get to try different wines from all over the world you would most like not discover on your own. Tastings are accompanied with nice side dishes to compliment each wine. In addition we ordered one of their amazing flatbreads to share. Nice evening overall.

Small bar area but very inviting. Every time we have been there the owner was there and suggested different wines based our preferences. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and the food was great. Crab cakes were high quality and extremely good. Staff is very helpful and the owners are very accommodating. Had great conversations with guests and staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make the evening enjoyable. And the wines are hand picked by the owner and are always very good. Great atmosphere and overall experience.

Sharon makes excellent food and the pairings were just right. Conner was a terrific server.

The flatbread pizza was amazing. Duck and blackberry, even my wife liked it and shes not the biggest duck fan.
